| 3 | Early Detection of Lesions of Dorsal Artery of Foot in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus by High-frequency Ultrasonography显示文摘This study evaluated the value of high-frequency ultrasonograpy for early detection of dorsal artery of foot in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (MD). Eighty subjects including 40 patients with type 2 MD (T2DM group) and 40 healthy volunteers (NC group) were recruited. The in-tima-media thickness (IMT), the inner diameter and the perfusion of dorsal artery of foot were meas-ured by using high-frequency ultrasonograpy. Meanwhile, the parameters of vascular elasticity, including stiffness parameter (β), pressure-strain elastic modulus (Eρ), arterial compliance (AC), aug-ment index (AI), and pulse wave conducting velocity (PWVβ) were detected by means of echo-tracking technique. The results showed that no significant difference was found in the IMT, systolic diameter (Ds), diastolic diameter (Dd) and peak systolic velocity (PSV) between T2DM and NC groups. Eρ and PWVβ were increased, and AC was decreased in T2DM group as compared with those in NC group with the differences being significant (P<0.05 for all). There was no significant difference in β and AI between T2DM and NC groups. | 4 | Metal Fabrication by Additive Manufacturing Using Laser and Electron Beam Melting Technologies显示文摘Selective laser melting (SLM) and electron beam melting (EBM) are relatively new rapid, additive manufac- turing technologies which can allow for the fabrication of complex, multi-functional metal or alloy monoliths by CAD-directed, selective melting of precursor powder beds. By altering the beam parameters and scan strategies, new and unusual, even non-equilibrium microstructures can be produced; including controlled microstructural architectures which ideally extend the contemporary materials science and engineering paradigm relating structure-properties-processing-performance. In this study, comparative examples for SLM and EBM fabricated components from pre-alloyed, atomized precursor powders are presented. | 7 | Reduction Algorithms Based on Discernibility Matrix:The Ordered Attributes Method显示文摘In this paper, we present reduction algorithms based on the principle of Skowron’s discernibility matrix - the ordered attributes method. The completeness of the algorithms for Pawlak reduct and the uniqueness for a given order of the attributes are proved. Since a discernibility matrix requires the size of the memory of U2, U is a universe of objects, it would be impossible to apply these algorithms directly to a massive object set. In order to solve the problem, a so-called quasi-discernibility matrix and two reduction algorithms are proposed. Although the proposed algorithms are incomplete for Pawlak reduct, their opimal paradigms ensure the completeness as long as they satisfy some conditions. Conventional FSW, however, has not been entirely successful in the joining, processing and manufacturing of different desired materials essential to meet the sophisticated green globe requirements. Through the efforts of improving the process and transferring the existing friction stir knowledge base to other advanced applications, several friction stir based daughter technologies have emerged over the timeline. A few among these technologies are well developed while others are under the process of emergence. Beginning with a broad classification of the scattered frictions stir based technologies into two categories, welding and processing, it appears now time to know,compile and review these to enable their rapid access for reference and academia. In this review article,the friction stir based technologies classified under the category of welding are those applied for joining of materials while the remnant are labeled as friction stir processing(FSP) technologies. With the emergence of Grid and ubiquitous computing, new challenges appear in task scheduling based on properties such as security, quality of service, and lack of central control within distributed administrative domains. A Grid task scheduling framework must be able to deal with these issues. One of the goals of Grid task scheduling is to achieve high system throughput while matching applications with the available computing resources. This matching of resources in a non-deterministically shared heterogeneous environment leads to concerns over Quality of Service (QoS). In this paper a novel QoS guided task scheduling algorithm for Grid computing is introduced. The proposed novel algorithm is based on a general adaptive scheduling heuristics that includes QoS guidance.The algorithm is evaluated within a simulated Grid environment. The experimental results show that the new QoS guided Min-Min heuristic can lead to significant performance gain for a variety of applications. | 15 | Microarchitecture of the Godson-2 Processor显示文摘The Godson project is the first attempt to design high performance general-purpose microprocessors in China.This paper introduces the microarchitecture of the Godson-2 processor which is a 64-bit, 4-issue, out-of-order execution RISC processor that implements the 64-bit MIPS-like instruction set. The adoption of the aggressive out-of-order execution techniques (such as register mapping, branch prediction, and dynamic scheduling) and cache techniques (such as non-blocking cache, load speculation, dynamic memory disambiguation) helps the Godson-2 processor to achieve high performance even at not so high frequency. The Godson-2 processor has been physically implemented on a 6-metal 0.18μm CMOS technology based on the automatic placing and routing flow with the help of some crafted library cells and macros. | 16 | Backfilling technology and strata behaviors in fully mechanized coal mining working face显示文摘Based on the principle of fully mechanized backfilling and coal mining technology and combined with the Xingtai Coal Mine conditions,we mainly optimized the coal mining equipment and adjusted the coal mining method in the Xingtai Coal Mine 7606 working face for implementation this technology.Firstly,we define the practical backfilling process as the ''(from backfilling scraper conveyor's) head to tail backfilling,step by step swinging up of the tamping arm,gradual compacting,moving formed backfilling scraper conveyor when the second tamping arm cannot pass and connecting the immediate roof by back material push front material movement''.Meanwhile,the stress changes of backfill body in coal mined out area was monitored by stress sensors,and the roof caving law was analyzed by monitoring the dynamic subsidence of à210 west roadway of this face.The site tests results show that using this new backfilling and coal mining integrated technology,the production capacity in the 7606 working face can reach to 283,000 ton a year,and 282,000 ton of solid materials(waste and fly ash) is backfilled,which meets the needs of high production and efficiency.The goaf was compactly backfilled with solid material and the strata behavior was quite desirable,with an actual maximum vertical stress of the backfill body of 5.5 MPa.Backfill body control the movement of overburden within a certain range,and there is no collapses of major areas in the overlying strata upon backfilled gob.The maximum subsidence and speed were 231 mm and 15.75 mm/d respectively,which proved the practical significance of this integrated technology. | Zhang Qiang Zhang Jixiong Huang Yanli Ju Feng | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,2: | 55 |

| 19 | Design, Preparation and Properties of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Ultra-High Temperature Ceramic Composites for Aerospace Applications: A Review显示文摘Carbon fiber reinforced ultra-high temperature ceramic(UHTC) composites, consisting of carbon fibers embedded in a UHTC-matrix or a C–SiC–UHTC-matrix, are deemed as the most viable class of materials that can overcome the poor fracture toughness and thermal shock resistance of monolithic UHTC materials, and also improve the oxidation resistance and ablation resistance of C/C and C/SiC composites at ultra-high temperatures. In this review, we summarize the different processing routes of the composites based on the UHTC introducing methods, including chemical vapor infiltration/deposition(CVI/D),precursor infiltration and pyrolysis(PIP), reactive melt infiltration(RMI), slurry infiltration(SI), in-situ reaction, hot pressing(HP), etc; and the advantages and drawbacks of each method are briefly discussed. The carbon fiber reinforced UHTC composites can be highly tailorable materials in terms of fiber,interface, and matrix. From the perspective of service environmental applications for engine propulsions and hypersonic vehicles, the material designs(mainly focusing on the composition, quantity, structure of matrix, as well as the architecture of carbon fibers, UHTCs and pores), their relevant processing routes and properties(emphasizing on the mechanical and ablation properties) are discussed in this paper.
