Quantum secure direct communication with cluster states显示文摘A quantum secure direct communication protocol with cluster states is proposed.Compared with the deterministic secure quantum communication protocol with the cluster state proposed by Yuan and Song(Int.J.Quant.Inform.,2009,7:689),this protocol can achieve higher intrinsic efficiency by using two-step transmission. The implementation of this protocol is also discussed.CAO WeiFeng 1,YANG YuGuang 3,4,5* & WEN QiaoYan 2 1 College of Electric and Information Engineering,Zhengzhou University of Light Industry,Zhengzhou 450002,China 2 State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology,Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications,Beijing 100876,China 3 College of Computer Science and Technology,Beijing University of Technology,Beijing 100124,China 4 State Key Laboratory of Integrated Services Network,Xidian University,Xi’an 710071,China 5 State key Laboratory of Information Security Gradute University of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing 100049,China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,7:20
Quasi-secure quantum dialogue using single photons显示文摘A quasi-secure quantum dialogue protocol using single photons was proposed. Different from the previous entanglement-based protocols, the present protocol uses batches of single photons which run back and forth between the two parties. A round run for each photon makes the two parties each obtain a classical bit of information. So the efficiency of information transmission can be increased. The present scheme is practical and well within the present-day technology.YANG YuGuang1,2 & WEN QiaoYan31 College of Computer Science and Technology, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing 100022, China 2 State Key Laboratory of Information Security, Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100049, China 3 School of Science, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2007Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2007,50,5:18
A class of discounted models for singular diffusion control显示文摘A kind of discounted problems for singular diffusion control have been studied. The drift and diffusion coefficients of state process are nonlinear. The class of models has been basically extended from a corresponding one established by Karatzes et al. before. By applying some analysis methods different from earlier works, the sufficient and necessary conditions of the existence of optimal control have been obtained. If an optimal control exists, it is a 'transient reflection' of state process for two lines.LIU Kunhui, QIN Mingda & LU Chuanlai1. 4RPPK modulation with high data rates显示文摘With the development of communication technology, the precious frequency spectrum is becoming more and more crowded. Exploiting the particular filter with zero group delay, ultra narrow band (UNB) modulation is intended for acquiring the high frequency efficiency. Unfortunately, this UNB filter is confronted with great challenges from the classical communication theories. The validation on its realization is also difficult. This paper proposes a novel UNB modulation, namely random pulse position keying (RPPK). It is demonstrated from analysis that there is no inessential discrete spectral line in modulated signal’s power density spectrum (PDS), and the UNB filter has been successfully avoided. Consequently, RPPK is rather explicit in theory and simple in implementation. As is shown by the simulation, the frequency utilization of RPPK can even reach 100 bits/s/Hz. Its optimum receiving performance is slightly inferior to BPSK, yet is much superior to that of other UNB modulations such as VMSK/2. Moreover, multi-access and confidentiality are additional benefits to UNB users.LI Bin , ZHOU Zheng & ZOU WeiXia Key Laboratory of Universal Wireless Communications, Ministry of Education Wireless Network Laboratory, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,2:16
Reverse reconciliation for continuous variable quantum key distribution显示文摘An efficient and practical post-processing technique based on reverse reconciliation for continuous variable quantum key distribution is proposed and simulated with low-density parity check (LDPC) codes. MultiLevel Coding/ MultiStage Decoding, which fully utilizes optimization technique such as vector quantization and iterative decoding and the optimal channel coding most close to the Shannon limit, was used to realize efficient reverse reconciliation algorithm. Simulation results showed that the proposed method can improve the secure key distribution rate to 2.2 kb/s and the coding efficiency to 0.89 over 20 km in single-mode optical fiber. Moreover, there still is room for much improvement.LU ZhiXin 1,2 , YU Li 1,2 , LI Kang 1,2 , LIU BingCan 1,2,3 , LIN JianGui 1,2 , JIAO RongZhen 1,2 & YANG BoJun 1,21 School of Science, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2 Key Laboratory of Information Photonics and Optical Communication, Ministry of Education, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 3 Department of Fundamental Courses, Academy of Armored Force Engineering, Beijing 100072, China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,1:12
Multiparty simultaneous quantum identity authentication with secret sharing显示文摘Two multiparty simultaneous quantum identity authentication (MSQIA) protocols based on secret sharing are presented. All the users can be authenticated by a trusted third party (TTP) simultaneously. In the first protocol, the TTP shares a random key K with all the users using quantum secret sharing. The ith share acts as the authentication key of the ith user. When it is necessary to perform MSQIA,the TTP generates a random number R secretly and sends a sequence of single photons encoded with K and R to all the users. According to his share, each user performs the corresponding unitary operations on the single photon sequence sequentially. At last, the TTP can judge whether the impersonator exists. The sec-ond protocol is a modified version with a circular structure. The two protocols can be efficiently used for MSQIA in a network. They are feasible with current technol-ogy.YANG YuGuang1,2,WEN QiaoYan3 & ZHANG Xing4,5 1 College of Computer Science and Technology,Beijing University of Technology,Beijing 100022,China 2 State Key Laboratory of Information Security (Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences),Beijing 100049,China 3 School of Science,Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications,Beijing 100876,China 4 Institute of Electronic Technology,Information Engineering University,Zhengzhou 450004,China 5 Trusted Computing Laboratory,Beijing University of Technology,Beijing 100022,China 2008Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2008,51,3:12
Threshold quantum secure direct communication without entanglement显示文摘For the first time, a threshold quantum secure direct communication (TQSDC) scheme is presented. Similar to the classical Shamir's secret sharing scheme, the sender makes n shares, S1, …, Sn of secret key K and each receiver keeps a share secretly. If the sender wants to send a secret message M to the receivers, he en-codes the information of K and M on a single photon sequence and sends it to one of the receivers. According to the secret shares, the t receivers sequentially per-form the corresponding unitary operations on the single photon sequence and ob-tain the secret message M. The shared shares may be reusable if it can be judged that there is no eavesdropper in line. We discuss that our protocol is feasible with current technology.YANG YuGuang1,3 & WEN QiaoYan2 1 College of Computer Science and Technology, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing 100022, China 2 School of Science, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 3 State Key Laboratory of Information Security (Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences), Beijing 100049, China 2008Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2008,51,2:11

Channel Adaptive Shortest Path Routing for Ad Hoc Networks显示文摘Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a challenge owing to the dynamic nature of network topology and the resource constraints. To maximize the channel resource utilization and minimize the network transfer delay along the path, the shortest path with the minimum hops approach is often adopted. However, the quality of wireless channels among the mobile nodes is time varying owing to fading, shadowing and path loss. Considering adaptive channel coding and modulation scheme, the channel state can be characterized by different link throughputs. If routing selection based on the link throughput is implemented, the minimum transfer delay from source to destination and the maximal throughput may be obtained. In this paper, a Channel Adaptive Shortest Path Routing (CASPR) is presented. Based on the adaptive channel coding and modulation, the CASPR transforms the link throughput into the channel quality factor Q and finds the shortest routing according to the Q measure. Simulation results show that the average path length in the proposed routing scheme may be slightly higher than that of the conventional shortest path with the minimum hops approach, but it can reduce the average transfer delay and increase the packet deliver rate.TIAN Hui, XIE Fang, HU Jian dong, ZHANG Ping (Wireless Technology Innovation Labs, Beijing University of Posts & Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, P. 10EXIT analysis of M-algorithm based MIMO detectors and LDPC code design optimization显示文摘This paper investigates joint design and optimization of both low density parity check (LDPC) codes and M-algorithm based detectors including iterative tree search (ITS) and soft-output M-algorithm (SOMA) in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems via the tool of extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) charts. First, we present EXIT analysis for ITS and SOMA. We indicate that the extrinsic information transfer curves of ITS obtained by Monte Carlo simulations based on output log-likelihood rations are not true EXIT curves, and the explanation for such a phenomenon is given, while for SOMA, the true EXIT curves can be computed, enabling the code design. Then, we propose a new design rule and method for LDPC code degree profile optimization in MIMO systems. The algorithm can make the EXIT curves of the inner decoder and outer decoder match each other properly, and can easily attain the desired code with the target rate. Also, it can transform the optimization problem into a linear one, which is computationally simple. The significance of the proposed optimization approach is validated by the simulation results that the optimized codes perform much better than standard non-optimized ones when used together with SOMA detector.YOU MingHou1,2, TAO XiaoFeng1,2, CUI QiMei1,2 & ZHANG Ping1,2 1 Wireless Technology Innovation Institute, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2 Key Laboratory of Universal Wireless Communications, (Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications), Ministry of Education, Beijing 100876, China 2009Science in China(Series F)2009,52,12:9
Secure network coding in the presence of eavesdroppers显示文摘Our concern, in the paper, is to construct information-theoretic secure network coding in the presence of eavesdroppers. Based on the generalized attack model and all-or-nothing transformation, the security of network coding in the generalized combination network can be characterized by the network capacity and the min-cut bound of wiretapping set from the source. Furthermore, it can be extended to any directed acyclic networks with single source. Compared with the traditional results, we construct information-theoretic secure network coding without additional encryptions and giving up any capacity.LUO MingXing1,2,3, YANG YiXian1,2,3, WANG LiCheng1,2,3 & NIU XinXin1,2,3 1Information Security Center, State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2Key Laboratory of Network and Information Attack and Defence Technology of MOE, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 3National Engineering Laboratory for Disaster Backup and Recovery, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,3:8
Threshold quantum secret sharing between multi-party and multi-party显示文摘A threshold quantum secret sharing (TQSS) scheme between multi-party and multi-party was proposed using a sequence of single photons, which is useful and efficient when the parties of communication are not all present. We described the process of this TQSS scheme and discussed its security. It was shown that entan-glement is not necessary for quantum secret sharing. Moreover, the theoretic effi-ciency was improved to approach 100% as almost all the instances can be used for generating the private key,and each photon can carry one bit of information. This protocol is feasible with the present-day technique.YANG YuGuang1,2,3 & WEN QiaoYan4 1 College of Computer Science and Technology,Beijing University of Technology,Beijing 100124,China 2 State Key Laboratory of Integrated Services Network,Xidian University,Xi’an 710071,China 3 State Key Laboratory of Information Security (Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences),Beijing 100049,China 4 State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology,Beijing University of Posts and Tele-communications,Beijing 100876,China 2008Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2008,51,9:8

Generalized quantum state sharing of the arbitrary two particles state显示文摘This paper has proposed a generalized quantum state sharing protocol of an arbitrary two-particle state using non-maximally GHZ states and generalized Bell state measurement. The sender Alice performs two-particle generalized Bell state measurements on her two particles in the state sharing process and the controller takes measurements on his particles and transfers the quantum information to the receiver with entanglement swapping by the cooperation of the other agents. It is found that the use of nonmaximally entangled state in quantum state sharing has enabled the secure sharing of the quantum state.WANG Chuan 1,2,ZHANG Yong 1,2 & JIN GuangSheng 1,2 1 School of Science,Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications,Beijing 100876,China 2 Key Laboratory of Optical Communication and Lightwave Technologies,Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications,Beijing 100876,China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,11:6
An Analysis of Interchannel Interference of OFDM Systems in Time-Varying Channel显示文摘In this paper the Inter-Channel-Interference (ICI) caused by Doppler spread is analyzed in the discrete form for an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. By theoretic derivation it is verified that the ICI power of the flat channel is the same as that of the time dispersive channel with the assumption that the flat channel is a normalized Wide-Sense Stationary (WSS) stochastic process and the time dispersive channel is a normalized Wide-Sense Stationary and Uncorrelatd-Scatting (WSS-US) stochastic process. Furthermore, the analysis and simulation show that the ICI power is determined by the product of Doppler spread and OFDM symbol period.ZHANG Jian-hua,ZHANG Ping(Wireless Innovation Technologies Laboratory (WTI Lab), Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, P.R. 18An improved dynamic user equipment power saving mechanism for LTE system and performance analysis显示文摘In order to minimize the power consumption of user equipments (UEs), and further to support various services and transmissions of large amount of data, the power saving mechanisms have been investigated for most remarkable wireless systems. In this paper, an improved dynamic discontinuous reception (D-DRX) scheme is presented for LTE system, which is able to adaptively adjust the inactivity timer and the sleep period of UEs’ receivers. Moreover, theoretical analysis based on the Markov chain is provided for the D-DRX scheme. Several numerical examples quantitatively show that the D-DRX scheme can capture various packet arrival patterns and scheduling behaviors of system to make a better tradeoff between power saving and packet delay by considering the length of packet queue.XU HaiBo, TIAN Hui , HUANG Bo & ZHANG Ping Key Laboratory of Universal Wireless Communications, Ministry of Education Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2010Science China(Information Sciences)2010,53,10:6
Threshold proxy quantum signature scheme with threshold shared verification显示文摘A threshold proxy quantum signature scheme with threshold shared verification is proposed. An original signer could authorize a group as its proxy signers. Then only t or more of n persons in the proxy group can generate the proxy signature on behalf of the original signer and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot do that. When the proxy signature needs to be verified, any t or more of n persons belonging to the verification group can verify the message and any t-1 or fewer ones cannot verify the validity of the proxy signature.YANG YuGuang1,3,4 & WEN QiaoYan2 1 College of Computer Science and Technology,Beijing University of Technology,Beijing 100124,China 2 State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology,Beijing University of Posts and Tele-communications,Beijing 100876,China 3 State Key Laboratory of Integrated Services Network,Xidian University,Xi’an 710071,China 4 State Key Laboratory of Information Security(Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences) ,Beijing 100049,China 2008Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2008,51,8:6
Quantum communications with an anonymous receiver显示文摘A new protocol for the anonymous communication of quantum information is proposed. The anonymity of the receiver and the privacy of the quantum information are perfectly protected except with exponentially small probability in this protocol. Furthermore, this protocol uses single photons to construct anonymous entanglement instead of multipartite entangled states, and therefore it reduces quantum resources compared with the pioneering work.WANG TianYin 1,2* , WEN QianYan 1 & ZHU FuChen 3 1 State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing 100876, China 2 School of Mathematical Science, Luoyang Normal University, Luoyang 471022, China 3 National Laboratory for Modern Communications, Chengdu 610041, China 2010Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2010,53,12:5
