| 1 | Climate change adaptation, greenhouse gas mitigation and economic profitability of conservation agriculture: Some examples from cereal systems of Indo-Gangetic Plains显示文摘Achieving sustainability of the cereal system in the Indo-Gangetic Plains(IGP)of India under progressive climate change and variability necessitates adoption of practices and technologies that increase food production,adaptation and mitigation in a sustainable way.This paper examines conservation agriculture(CA)from the perspective of:(i)increased yield and farm income,(ii)adaptation to heat and water stresses,and(iii)reduction in greenhouse gas(GHGs)emissions.The analyses and conclusions are based on the literature and evidences from a large number of on-station as well as farmers’field trials on CA in the cereal systems of IGP.Our analyses show that CA-based system substantially reduces the production cost(up to 23%)but produces equal or even higher than conventional system;thereby increasing economic profitability of production system.CA-based production systems also moderated the effect of high temperature(reduced canopy temperature by 1–4°C)and increased irrigation water productivity by 66–100%compared to traditional production systems thus well adapting to water and heat stress situations of IGP.Our continuous monitoring of soil flux of CO2,N2O and CH4 revealed that CA-based rice-wheat systems emit 10–15%less GHGs than conventional systems.This is the first time that CA and its components are synthesized and analyzed from food security-climate change nexus.From this holistic analysis,we suggest that wide-scale promotion of suitable CA practices by integrating into national agriculture development strategy is a way forward to address food security,climate change adaptation and mitigation challenges faced by present agriculture. | Tek B Sapkota M L Jat Jeetendra P Aryal R K Jat Arun Khatri-Chhetri | 2015 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2015，14，8： | 4 |
| 2 | Porcine Bocavirus: A 10-Year History since Its Discovery显示文摘Porcine bocavirus(PBoV)is a single-stranded DNA virus,belongs to the genus Bocaparvovirus of family Parvoviridae.It was discovered along with porcine circovirus 2(PCV 2)and torque tenovirus(TTV)in the lymph nodes of pigs suffering from postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome(PMWS)in Sweden in 2009.PBoV has been reported throughout the world,mostly in weaning piglets,and has a broad range of tissue tropism.Since PBoV is prevalent in healthy as well as clinically infected pigs and is mostly associated with coinfection with other viruses,the pathogenic nature of PBoV is still unclear.Currently,there are no cell lines available for the study of PBoV,and animal model experiments have not been described.This review summarizes the current state of knowledge about PBoV,including the epidemiology,evolution analysis,detection methods,pathogenesis and public health concerns. | Manita Aryal Guangliang Liu | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021，36，6： | 3 |
| 3 | Optical and luminescence characteristics of Eu^(3+)-doped B_2O_3:SiO_2:Y_2O_3:CaO glasses for visible red laser and scintillation material applications显示文摘Europium(Eu^(3+)) doped glasses of chemical compositions(55-x)B_2O_3:10 SiO_2:25 Y_2O_3:10CaO:xEu_2O_3,where x denotes mol% and ranges 0≤ x ≤ 2.5, were synthesized by adopting conventional melt quenching technique, Physical properties like density, molar volume, polaron radius, inter-ionic distance and field strength of the glass samples were investigated to assess the impact of Eu_2O_3. Optical and luminescence properties of the glasses were characterized with optical absorption, photoluminescence,X-ray induced emission spectra, temperature dependence emission spectra and decay times. Judd-Ofelt(JO) intensity parameters(Ω_λ) of the glasses were evaluated based on the absorption spectrum of 0.5 mol%. JO parameters, calculated from absorption spectra with thermal corrections on oscillator strength, were used to evaluate radiative properties such as radiative transition probability(A_R),branching ratio(β_R), stimulated cross section emission(σ) and radiative lifetime(τ_R) for ~5D_0→~7 F_J(J = 0,1,2,3 and 4) transitions. The decay rate of ~5D_0 fluorescent level for all the glass samples was single exponential. Lifetimes of the ~5D_0 level were decreased with increasing concentrations of Eu^(3+)ions from 0.05 mol% to 2.5 mol% which might be due to energy transfer through cross-relaxation in the glasses. The chromaticity coordinates(x, y) were similar for all BSYCaEu glasses and were located at the red region of CIE 1931 color chromaticity diagram. | 4 | 髋关节置换术后短期内患者生活质量调查分析显示文摘目的:观察全髋关节置换和半髋置换术后3个月内患者生活质量果。方法:对2013年3月到12月期间在荆州市中心医院骨科进行髋关节置换术的31例患者进行回访调查,并进行健康生活质量(HRQoL)、生理功能(PF)调查与评估以及体能健康的局限(RP)、躯体疼痛(BP)、一般健康(GH)的评分和36项健康调查问卷(SF-36)的填写。调查方式是以病人的医疗记录为调查内容。SF-36评分的平均变化的临床意义在于术后和术前评分之间的平均差异有统计学意义且术后平均SF-36评分能与健康的65岁或以上的老年人一致。结果:3个月随访后,术前患者SF-36问卷评分后PF、RP、BP和GH值分别为39.4、18.5、30.6和47.3。术后患者的PF、RP、BP和GH值分别为45.2、30.6、46.9和52.6。术后患者以上4个值的平均分数均高于术前得分,平均BP得分在统计学上有显著改善(P<0.01),PF、RP和GH的变化无统计学差异(P>0.05)。结论:全髋关节置换3个月后,虽然患者疼痛显著减轻,但患者总体生活质量无明显改善。 | Niranjan Aryal 许永涛 汪勇刚 | 2015 | 长江大学学报(自科版)(下旬)2015，12，6： | 2 |

| 6 | Time-series analysis with a hybrid Box-Jenkins ARIMA显示文摘Time-series analysis is important to a wide range of disciplines transcending both the physical and social sciences for proactive policy decisions. Statistical models have sound theoretical basis and have been successfully used in a number of problem domains in time series forecasting. Due to power and flexibility, Box-Jenkins ARIMA model has gained enormous popularity in many areas and research practice for the last three decades. More recently, the neural networks have been shown to be a promising alternative tool for modeling and forecasting owing to their ability to capture the nonlinearity in the data. However, despite the popularity and the superiority of ARIMA and ANN models, the empirical forecasting performance has been rather mixed so that no single method is best in every situation. In this study, a hybrid ARIMA and neural networks model to time series forecasting is proposed. The basic idea behind the model combination is to use each model’s unique features to capture different patterns in the data. | 7 | Blue sheep in the Annapurna Conservation Area,Nepal:habitat use,population biomass and their contribution to the carrying capacity of snow leopards显示文摘The Himalaya region of Nepal provides a habitat for the endangered snow leopard(Panthera uncia)and its principal prey species,the blue sheep(Pseudois nayaur).The aim of this study was to describe the habitat,the distribution and the population structure of blue sheep,and to estimate their contribution to the carrying capac-ity of snow leopard in the upper Mustang region of Nepal.Blue sheep were recorded at altitudes from 3209-5498 m on slopes with gradients of 16-60°and aspects of 40°NE to 140°SE.A total of 939 blue sheep were counted in the upper Mustang region,and 98 were counted in the Yak Kharka region of Manang district;how-ever,upper Mustang had the lowest population density of blue sheep recorded within their distribution range in Nepal(0.86 blue sheep/km^(2)).The results of the study show that a higher density of blue sheep is associated with greater plant species diversity.The most important species present in the blue sheep habitat were Kobresia pyg-maea,Artemesia spp.,Lonicera spp.,Lancea tibetica,Poa spp.,Astragalus spp.and Ephedra gerardiana.It is estimated that the existing blue sheep population biomass of approximately 38925 kg in the upper Mustang re-gion could support approximately 19 snow leopards(1.6 snow leopards/100 km^(2)). | Achyut ARYAL Dianne BRUNTON Weihong JI David RAUBENHEIMER | 2014 | Integrative Zoology2014，9，1： | 2 |
