3“Color Revolutions” and Beyond显示文摘“Color revolutions” (or “orange revolutions”) broke out in some of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the past couple of years, reminiscent of the drama of disintegration of the former Soviet bloc at the turn of the 1990s. Why those upheavals came hot on the heels of the Soviet collapses merely a dozen or so years ago? Are we expecting more domino effects down the road? What geographical repercussions will they spark? 6Analysis of Wave Height in Front of a Wave Absorbing Structure with Rubble Foundation显示文摘Wave absorbing structures have been widely applied in many countries. In the present paper, the wave heights in front of a vertical wave absorbing structure with rubble foundation as well as in the wave chamber of the structure are analysed using an approximative calculation method, and the dissipating effect of the structure is verified.
