| 2 | Theoretical study of flow ripple for an aviation axial-piston pump with damping holes in the valve plate显示文摘Based on the structure of a certain type of aviation axial-piston pump's valve plate which adopts a pre-pressurization fluid path(consisting a damping hole,a buffer chamber,and an orifice)to reduce flow ripple,a single-piston model of the aviation axial-piston pump is presented. This single-piston model comprehensively considers fluid compressibility,orifice restriction effect,fluid resistance in the capillary tube,and the leakage flow. Besides,the instantaneous discharge areas used in the single-piston model have been calculated in detail. Based on the single-piston model,a multi-piston pump model has been established according to the simple hydraulic circuit. The single- and multi-piston pump models have been realized by the S-function in Matlab/Simulink. The developed multi-piston pump model has been validated by being compared with the numerical result by computational fluid dynamic(CFD). | 4 | A Collinearity-Incorporating Homology Inference Strategy for Connecting Emerging Assemblies in the Triticeae Tribe as a Pilot Practice in the Plant Pangenomic Era显示文摘Plant genome sequencing has dramatically increased,and some species even have multiple high-quality reference versions.Demands for clade-specific homology inference and analysis have increased in the pangenomic era.Here we present a novel method,GeneTribe(https://chenym1.github.io/genetribe/),for homology inference among genetically similar genomes that incorporates gene collinearity and shows bet-ter performance than traditional sequence-similarity-based methods in terms of accuracy and scalability.The Triticeae tribe is a typical allopolyploid-rich clade with complex species relationships that includes many important crops,such as wheat,barley,and rye.We built Triticeae-GeneTribe(http://wheat.cau.edu.cn/TGT/),a homology database,by integrating 12 Triticeae genomes and 3 outgroup model genomes and implemented versatile analysis and visualization functions.With macrocollinearity analysis,we were able to construct a refined model illustrating the structural rearrangements of the 4A-5A-7B chromosomes in wheat as two major translocation events.With collinearity analysis at both the macro-and microscale,we illustrated the complex evolutionary history of homologs of the wheat vernalization gene Vm2,which evolved as a combined result of genome translocation,duplication,and polyploidization and gene loss events.Our work provides a useful practice for connecting emerging genome assemblies,with awareness of the extensive polyploidy in plants,and will help researchers efficiently exploit genome sequence re-sources. | Yongming Chen Wanjun Song Xiaoming Xie Zihao Wang Panfeng Guan Huiru Peng Yuannian Jiao Zhongfu Ni Qixin Sun Weilong Guo | 2020 | Molecular Plant2020,13,12: | 14 |

| 7 | Modeling and Optimal Design of 3 Degrees of Freedom Helmholtz Resonator in Hydraulic System显示文摘Three degrees of freedom (3-DOF) Helmholtz resonator which consists of three cylindrical necks and cavities connected in series (neck-cavity-neck-cavity-neck-cavity) is suitable to reduce flow pulsation in hydraulic system. A novel lumped parameter model (LPM) of 3-DOF Helmholtz resonator in hydraulic system is developed which considers the viscous friction loss of hydraulic fluid in the necks. Applying the Newton's second law of motion to the equivalent mechanical model of the resonator, closed-form expression of transmission loss and resonance frequency is presented. Based on the LPM, an optimal design method which employs rotate vector optimization method (RVOM) is proposed. The purpose of the optimal design is to search the resonator's unknown parameters so that its resonance frequencies can coincide with the pump-induced flow pulsation harmonics respectively. The optimal design method is realized to design 3-DOF Helmholtz resonator for a certain type of aviation piston pump hydraulic system. | 8 | Fabrication of kW-level chirped and tilted fiber Bragg gratings and filtering of stimulated Raman scattering in high-power CW oscillators显示文摘Suppression of stimulated Raman scattering(SRS)by means of chirped and tilted fiber Bragg gratings(CTFBGs)has become a key topic.However,research on high-power systems is still lacking due to two problems.Firstly,after the inscription,there are a large number of hydroxyl compounds and hydrogen molecules in CTFBGs that cause significant heating due to their strong infrared absorption.Secondly,CTFBGs can couple Stokes light from the core to the cladding and the coating,which causes serious heating in the coating of the CTFBG.Aimed at overcoming these bottlenecks,a process that combines constant-low-temperature and variable-high-temperature annealing is used to reduce the thermal slope of the CTFBG.Also,a segmented-corrosion cladding power stripping technology is used on the CTFBG to remove the Stokes light which is coupled to the cladding,which solves the problem of overheating in the coating of the CTFBG.Thereby,a CTFBG with both a kilowatt-level power-carrying load and the ability to suppress SRS in a fiber laser has been developed.Further,we establish a kW-level CW oscillator to test the CTFBG.Experimental results demonstrate that the power-carrying load of the CTFBG is close to 1 kW,the thermal slope is lower than 0.015 ℃/W,and the SRS suppression ratio is nearly 23 dB. | Kerong Jiao Jian Shu Hua Shen Zhiwen Guan Feiyan Yang Rihong Zhu | 2019 | High Power Laser Science and Engineering2019,7,2: | 9 |

| 10 | Using ultrasound to improve the sequential post-synthesis modification method for making mesoporous Y zeolites显示文摘Mesoporous Y zeolites were prepared by the sequential chemical dealumination(using chelating agents such as ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid,H EDTA,and citric acid aqueous solutions)and alkaline desilication(using sodium hydroxide,NaOH,aqueous solutions)treatments.Specifically,the ultrasound-assisted alkaline treatment(i.e.,ultrasonic treatment)was proposed as the alternative to conventional alkaline treatments which are performed under hydrothermal conditions.In comparison with the hydrothermal alkaline treatment,the ultrasonic treatment showed the comparatively enhanced efficiency(with the reduced treatment time,i.e.,5 min vs.30 min,all with 0.2 mol·L NaOH at 65°C)in treating the dealuminated Y zeolites for creating mesoporosity.For example,after the treatment of a dealuminated zeolite Y(using 0.1 mol·L H EDTA at 100°C for 6 h),the ultrasonic treatment produced the mesoporous zeolite Y with the specific external surface area()of 160 m·g and mesopore volume()of 0.22 cm·g,being slightly higher than that by the conventional method(i.e.,=128 m·g and=0.19 cm·g).The acidic property and catalytic activity(in catalytic cracking of-octane)of mesoporous Y zeolites obtained by the two methods were comparable.The ultrasonic desilication treatment was found to be generic,also being effective to treat the dealuminated Y zeolites by citric acid.Additionally,the first step of chemical dealumination treatment was crucial to enable the effective creation of mesopores in the parent Y zeolite(with a silicon-to-aluminium ratio,Si/Al=2.6)regardless of the subsequent alkaline desilication treatment(i.e.,ultrasonic or hydrothermal).Therefore,appropriate selection of the condition of the chemical dealumination treatment based on the property of parent zeolites,such as Si/Al ratio and crystallinity,is important for making mesoporous zeolites effectively. | Rongxin Zhang Peinan Zhong Hamidreza Arandivan Yanan Guan Jinmin Liu Na Wang Yilai Jiao Xiaolei Fan | 2020 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2020,14,2: | 5 |
| 11 | Optimization of Callus Induction Conditions from Immature Embryos in Maize and Plant Regeneration显示文摘This research uses the immature embryos of inbred maize lines(GSH9901,Hi01,Hi02,and Chang 7-2)as receptor materials to establish the callus induction system.These inbred lines provide the receptor materials for the genetic regeneration of maize and the verification of the genetic functions of maize.The factor experiment and orthogonal experiments were used to investigate the impacts of different genotypes,immature embryo size,shield orientation,2,4-D concentration,proline concentration,and folic acid concentration on the induction rate of embryogenic callus tissue.A sensitivity experiment testing glyphosate(Bar)and an antibiotic(Cefotaxime sodium)were also conducted.The results indicate that the immature embryos of inbred maize line GSH9901 were the most effective for callus tissue induction,and the immature embryos with a length of 1.6-2.0 mm produce the best result.The upward shield face is more successful for the formation of induced callus.Using orthogonal analysis,we found that the optimal combination for the induction system was A_(3)(2,4-D concentration 0.25 mg mL^(-1)),B_(1)C_(3)(proline concentration 0.8 mg mL^(-1)),and D 2(folate Concentration 0.5 mg mL^(-1))and the induction rate reached 84%.We found that cold storage at 4℃ for 1 d is more conducive for the formation of embryogenic callus than the other treatments tested.The sensitivity experiment for callus tissue screening revealed the critical concentration of glyphosate to be 10 mg ml^(-1),and the critical concentration of antibiotic is 250 mg ml^(-1).Using this combination of glyphosate and antibiotic resulted in regenerated plants.This study established the optimal conditions for immature embryo callus tissue induction in maize. | Peng Jiao Ruiqi Ma Zhuo Qi Zhenzhong Jiang Siyan Liu Jing Qu Shuyan Guan Yiyong Ma | 2020 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2020,89,1: | 3 |
| 12 | Neuronal-like differentiation of single versus multiple treatments with human amnion-derived mesenchymal stem cells induced by basic fibroblast growth factor显示文摘<正>BACKGROUND:Cultures from multiple portions of umbilical cord blood mesenchymal stem cells have been shown to undergo more rapid proliferation and attachment than single portions. OBJECTIVE:To observe growth of basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)-induced cultures of human amnion-derived mesenchymal stem cells(AMSCs) and differentiation into neuronal-like cells. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Comparative observation.The study was performed at the Laboratory of Microbiology and Immunology,Basic Medical School of Zhengzhou University from January to May 2008. METHODS:Amnia from full-term,uterine-incision delivery were donated by 12 healthy women. AMSCs were obtained by cell separation and culture techniques,and were passaged and induced by bFGF.From the third passage,a total of 1 mLAMSCs,at a density of 1.0×10~4/mL,was separately harvested from six samples,which served as group A.A total of 1 mLAMSCs,at a density of 1.0×10~4/mL,was harvested separately from the remaining six samples,which served as group B.A total of 0.5 mL from the six samples of group A and 0.5 mL from the six samples of group B were combined to form group C. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Differences in cell quantity among the three groups were compared by cell quantification and 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) analysis.Expression of a glial cell marker,neuron-specific enolase,and nestin was detected in the three groups by immunocytochemistry. RESULTS:Cell quantification and MTT analysis of live cells,as well as AMSC absorbance,were significantly greater in group C compared with groups A and B at 18 days of culture(P<0.05),and no significant difference was observed between groups A and B.Glial fibrillary acidic protein, neuron-specific enolase,and nestin were expressed in all groups following bFGF induction. | 19 | Characteristics of dental morphology in the Xinjiang Uyghurs and correlation with the EDARV370A variant显示文摘Teeth are one of the most important materials for anthropological studies because they are likely to be preserved in ancient remains.While the frequencies of dental characteristics can provide clues to the phylogeny of populations,genetic studies at the individual level can further reveal the biological mechanisms and evolutionary context of dental characteristics.In this study,by analyzing 38 dental characteristics of 242 Xinjiang Uyghur individuals,we found that(i)the dental characteristics of the Uyghurs showed evidence of admixture between European and East Asian populations.The admixture proportions were in line with those previously reported in population genetic studies;(ii)the Xinjiang Uyghur dental characteristics formed three clusters in pairwise correlation analysis.One of the main clusters consisted of characteristics including incisor shoveling,double shoveling and mesial ridge;and(iii)all the characteristics in this cluster were significantly correlated with the genetic variant EDARV370A.The extracted composite phenotypic factor was also significantly associated with EDARV370A,which explained 18%of the total phenotypic variance.This indicated a pleiotropic effect,i.e.,the same genetic factor affects a number of dental characteristics at the same time.Our results confirmed that EDARV370A,a genetic variant that first originated in East Asia about 30000 years ago,played an important role in incisor shoveling in East Asia.This finding suggested that incisor shoveling in modern humans in East Asia is likely to have appeared after the late Pleistocene. | TAN JingZe PENG QianQian LI JinXi GUAN YaQun ZHANG LiPing JIAO Yi YANG YaJun WANG SiJia JIN Li | 2014 | Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,5: | 2 |
| 20 | One-step fabrication of nitrogen-deficient carbon nitride through pyrolysis of melamine and 1,2,4-triazole for its enhanced photocatalytic degradation显示文摘The construction of defects in semiconductor photocatalysts,as a kind of modification methods,plays an indispensable role in the enhancement of the photocatalytic performance.Herein,nitrogen defects were successfully introduced into the framework of graphite carbon nitride(CN-T_(x))through thermal polymerization with melamine and 1,2,4-triazole as precursors.The existence of nitrogen defects in CN-T_(x) were confirmed to be located at the two-coordinated(N_(2c))C■N-C lattice sites,which resulted in the destruction of its planar structure and the initiation of n-π^(*)electron transition that greatly expanded the response range to visible light and improved the separation efficiency of photogenerated charge carrier.More significantly,CN-T_(x) could enhance photocatalytic water purification activity towards different kinds of pollutants.The photocatalytic rates of CN-T_(3) were estimated to be 2.54(tetracycline)and 2.31(2-hydroxynaphthalene)times higher than those of pristine g-C3N4.Furthermore,the possible photocatalytic degradation mechanism over CN-T_(x) photocatalyst was proposed by free radical trapping experiments combined with ERS characterization.This work provides an in-depth understanding of the important role of nitrogen defects in the electronic structure and chemical properties of g-C3N4 and its photocatalytic water purification performance. | Jing Ding Zongyuan Li Xueru Chen Yiwei Jiao Dashui Yuan Wei Du Hui Wan Guofeng Guan | 2021 | Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,3: | 1 |
