| 1 | A Survey on Deep Learning-based Fine-grained Object Classification and Semantic Segmentation显示文摘The deep learning technology has shown impressive performance in various vision tasks such as image classification, object detection and semantic segmentation. In particular, recent advances of deep learning techniques bring encouraging performance to fine-grained image classification which aims to distinguish subordinate-level categories, such as bird species or dog breeds. This task is extremely challenging due to high intra-class and low inter-class variance. In this paper, we review four types of deep learning based fine-grained image classification approaches, including the general convolutional neural networks(CNNs), part detection based,ensemble of networks based and visual attention based fine-grained image classification approaches. Besides, the deep learning based semantic segmentation approaches are also covered in this paper. | 4 | Electromechanical Fields Near a Circular PN Junction Between Two Piezoelectric Semiconductors显示文摘We study electromechanical fields near the interface between a circular piezoelectric semiconductor cylinder and another piezoelectric semiconductor in which it is embedded.The cylinder is p-doped. The surrounding material is n-doped. The phenomenological theory of piezoelectric semiconductors consisting of the equations of piezoelectricity and the conservation of charge for holes and electrons is used. The theory is linearized for small carrier concentration perturbations. An analytical solution is obtained, showing the formation of a PN junction near the interface. Various electromechanical fields associated with the junction are calculated. | 6 | Analysis of thickness-shear and thickness-twist modes of AT-cut quartz acoustic wave resonator and filter显示文摘The thickness-shear(TS) and thickness-twist(TT) vibrations of partially electroded AT-cut quartz plates for acoustic wave resonator and filter applications are theoretically studied. The plates have structural variations in one of the two in-plane directions of the plates only. The scalar differential equations derived by Tiersten and Smythe for electroded and unelectroded AT-cut quartz plates are used, resulting in free vibration resonant frequencies and mode shapes for both fundamental and overtone families of modes. The trapped modes with vibrations, mainly confined in the electroded areas, are found to exist in both the resonator and the filter structures. | 12 | Karyotype Analysis of Gazania rigens Varieties显示文摘For studying species origin, systematic evolution and phylogenetic relationship of Gazania rigens, four different G. rigens varieties, with different flower colors, were subjected to chromosome karyotype analysis. The somatic chromosome number in three varieties ‘Hongwen', ‘Xingbai'and ‘Richu' was 2n = 10, while in ‘Zhongguo Xunzhangju' it was 2n = 20. We speculate that the cardinal number of chromosomes in G. rigens plants is x = 5, in which case ‘Zhongguo Xunzhangju' is a tetraploid. The karyotype formulae of ‘Hongwen', ‘Xingbai' and ‘Richu' were 2n = 8m + 2sm,2n = 8m + 2sm and 2n = 10 m respectively. The karyotype formula of ‘Zhongguo Xunzhangju' was 2n = 18 m + 2sm. The asymmetrical karyotype coefficients of the four G. rigens varieties ranged from 53.80% to 58.84%. Only ‘Richu' had a ‘1A' karyotype, while the others were relatively symmetric ‘2A'.
