3A Novel Deep Hybrid Recommender System Based on Auto-encoder with Neural Collaborative Filtering显示文摘Due to the widespread availability of implicit feedback(e.g., clicks and purchases), some researchers have endeavored to design recommender systems based on implicit feedback. However, unlike explicit feedback,implicit feedback cannot directly reflect user preferences. Therefore, although more challenging, it is also more practical to use implicit feedback for recommender systems. Traditional collaborative filtering methods such as matrix factorization, which regards user preferences as a linear combination of user and item latent vectors, have limited learning capacities and suffer from data sparsity and the cold-start problem. To tackle these problems,some authors have considered the integration of a deep neural network to learn user and item features with traditional collaborative filtering. However, there is as yet no research combining collaborative filtering and contentbased recommendation with deep learning. In this paper, we propose a novel deep hybrid recommender system framework based on auto-encoders(DHA-RS) by integrating user and item side information to construct a hybrid recommender system and enhance performance. DHA-RS combines stacked denoising auto-encoders with neural collaborative filtering, which corresponds to the process of learning user and item features from auxiliary information to predict user preferences. 4Alpha-2-macroglobulin as a radioprotective agent: a review显示文摘Radiation is an important modality in cancer treatment, and eighty percent of cancer patients need radiotherapy at some point during their clinical management. However, radiation-induced damage to normal tissues restricts the therapeutic doses of radiation that can be delivered to tumours and thereby limits the effectiveness of the treatment. The use of radioprotectors represents an obvious strategy to obtain better tumour control using a higher dose in radiotherapy. However, most of the synthetic radioprotective compounds studied have shown inadequate clinical efficacy owing to their inherent toxicity and high cost. Hence, the development of radioprotective agents with lower toxicity and an extended window of protection has attracted a great deal of attention, and the identification of alternative agents that are less toxic and highly effective is an absolute necessity. Recent studies have shown that alpha-2-macroglobulin(α2M) possesses radioprotective effects. α2M is a tetrameric, disulfide-rich plasma glycoprotein that functions as a nonselective inhibitor of different types of non-specific proteases and as a carrier of cytokines, growth factors, and hormones. α2M induces protein factors whose interplay underlies radioprotection, which supports the idea that α2M is the central effector of natural radioprotection in the rat. Pretreatment with α2M has also induced a significant reduction of irradiation-induced DNA damage and the complete restoration of liver and body weight. Mihailovi? et al. concluded that the radioprotection provided by α2M was in part mediated through cytoprotection of new blood cells produced in the bone marrow; these authors also indicated that an important aspect of the radioprotective effect of amifostine was the result of the induction of the endogenous cytoprotective capability of α2M. The radioprotective effects of α2M are possibly due to antioxidant, antifibrosis, and anti-inflammatory functions, as well as the maintenance of homeostasis, and enhancement of the DNA repair and cell recovery processes. This review is the first to summarise the observations and elucidate the possible mechanisms responsible for the beneficial effects of α2M. 5Numerical and physical simulation of a twin-roll strip caster显示文摘The 1:1 water model of a twin-roll strip caster was set up based on the Froude number and the Reynolds number similarity criteria. A new type metal delivery system was designed for the twin-roll strip caster. The level fluctuation and the fluid flow in the pool of the water model were measured using the level detector and the 3D-LDV (laser Doppler velocimetry) technology. It is shown that a wedged delivery system can produce the desirable level fluctuation and even fluid flow distribution in the pool. Numerical simulations for the water model were performed. 7Endogenous level of TIGAR in brain is associated with vulnerability of neurons to ischemic injury显示文摘In previous studies,we showed that TP53-induced glycolysis and apoptosis regulator(TIGAR) protects neurons against ischemic brain injury.In the present study,we investigated the developmental changes of TIGAR level in mouse brain and the correlation of TIGAR expression with the vulnerability of neurons to ischemic injury.We found that the TIGAR level was high in the embryonic stage,dropped at birth,partially recovered in the early postnatal period,and then continued to decline to a lower level in early adult and aged mice.The TIGAR expression was higher after ischemia/reperfusion in mouse brain 8and 12 weeks after birth.Four-week-old mice had smaller infarct volumes,lower neurological scores,and lower mortality rates after ischemia than 8- and12-week-old mice.TIGAR expression also increased in response to oxygen glucose deprivation(OGD)/reoxygenation insult or H_2O_2 treatment in cultured primary neurons from different embryonic stages(E16 and E20).The neurons cultured from the early embryonic period had a greater resistance to OGD and oxidative insult.Higher TIGAR levels correlated with higher pentose phosphate pathway activity and less oxidative stress.Older mice and more mature neurons had more severe DNA and mitochondrial damage than younger mice and less mature neurons in response to ischemia/reperfusion or OGD/reoxygenation insult.Supplementation of cultured neurons with nicotinamide adenine dinuclectide phosphate(NADPH) significantly reduced ischemic injury.These results suggest that TIGAR expression changes during development and its expression level may be correlated with the vulnerability of neurons to ischemic injury.Lijuan Cao Jieyu Chen Mei Li Yuan-Yuan Qin Meiling Sun Rui Sheng Feng Han Guanghui Wang Zheng-Hong Qin 2015Neuroscience Bulletin2015,31,5:6

11Spatial-temporal Patterns and Evolution History of Rural Settlements from the Perspective of Inheritance——A Case Study of Lianzhou City,Guangdong Province显示文摘Formation and evolution of rural settlement patterns in Lianzhou City,Guangdong Province were analyzed from the perspective of space and time,on the basis of its gazetteer and relevant historical data.The results show that Lianzhou was first founded in the sixth year of Yuanding Period of the Western Han Dynasty,and its development could be roughly classified into 6 stages according to the construction of south–north traffic lines and regional development progress,and it witnessed the fastest development in the Ming and Qing Dynasty.In terms of spatial distribution,rural settlements in the local area show spatial continuity,Lianzhou Town is the core of rural settlement growth in the city,and towns with the most concentrated rural settlements in all stages are located in central-west and northeast parts of the city,and those with lower density of rural settlements are mostly located in minority regions in the north and mountainous areas in the east.On the basis of the above facts,the paper studies the influence of natural geological conditions,immigrant,traffic,economic development and ethnic composition on the establishment and development of rural settlements in Lianzhou City.CAO Xiaoshu REN Huizi HUANG Xiaoyan LIU Jieyu 2013Journal of Landscape Research2013,5,6:3
12Reliability analysis for WSN based on a modular k-out-of-n system显示文摘A hierarchical clustering model for a wireless sensor network(WSN) which takes into account the node fault and the balance of energy consumption is built. With the sensing and transmission as the main tasks of the WSN, its working mode is converted to a modular k-out-of-n system whose each modular is also a k-out-of-n structure. By using the theory of signature and its extending, the reliability of the WSN is computed. 13The effects of portable cooling systems on thermal comfort and work performance in a hot environment显示文摘There are some special spaces in which there is no air conditioning or the people are in move,thus exposing people to a hot environment.In this study,portable cooling systems were proposed and their effects on thermal comfort and work performance were investigated at an air temperature of 32°C.Four conditions were established:cool air towards breathing zone(A),chest and back cooling(B)#combined cooling(C)and no cooling(D).Twenty-eight subjects were exposed to the four conditions in a counterbalanced order.During each exposure they performed tasks and made subjective assessments,while multiple physiological parameters were measured.Compared with no cooling(D),cool air towards breathing zone(A)and chest and back cooling(B)improved work performance by 17.5%and 19.25%,respectively,while decreased the subjects'thermal sensation,skin temperature,and heart rate.When the two cooling systems were combined(C),larger improvements in thermal comfort and work performance were achieved than no cooling(D);the mean thermal sensation rating decreased from 2.4 to 0.7;work performance increased by up to 33%,and physiological parameters including skin temperature,pulse,heart rate and salivary alpha-amylase significantly decreased.The present results suggest that the proposed portable cooling systems could maintain thermal comfort and work performance in a hot environment,while potentially improve air quality for some special spaces.Jieyu Tang Yu Liu Hui Du Li Lan Yuxiang Sun Jialin Wu 2021Building Simulation2021,14,6:2
14Constructing dataset of classified drainage areas based on surface water-supply patterns in High Mountain Asia显示文摘The High Mountain Asia(HMA)region,ranging from the Hindu Kush and Tien Shan in thewest totheHimalaya inthe southwith an altitude between 2000 and 8844 m,holds the largest reservoir of glaciers and snow outside Earth Polar Regions.In the last decades,numerous glaciers and lake areas there have undergone tremendous changes with water redistribution.In order to increase understanding of the pattern of distribution of water resources,and their dynamic changes at the basin scale,a watershed classification based on the water replenishment patterns dataset was constructed.The input dataset are from the Randolph Glacier Inventory V.6.0 and the vector data of rivers and streams.Four datasets were thus obtained:Glacier-fed and Runoff-fed Drainage Area(GRDA),Glacier-fed and Runoff-free Drainage Area(GDA),Glacier-free and Runoff-fed Drainage Area(RDA),and the Glacier-free and Runoff-free Drainage Area(NGRDA),and the numbers of these four types of basins are 87,107,32,and 448 separately.The statistical results show GRDA has the largest surface area,accounting for 82.2%of the total basin area in HMA,mainly in the region of the basin with outflow rivers or streams.Dominated by small basins,the GDA area accounts for the smallest area,only 3.86%and the RDA accounts for 5.62%.For NGRDA,most are with small areas,accounting for 8.32%,and mainly distributes in the closed basin of the Qiangtang Plateau.This dataset provides a fundamental classified data source for research on water resources,climate,ecology,and environment in HMA.The published data are available at https://data.4tu.nl/download/uuid:d07d748f-d10b-4308-9626-199ef05cc9af/and http://www.dx.doi.org/10.11922/sciencedb.923.Jieyu Lu Yubao Qiu Xingxing Wang Wenshan Liang Pengfei Xie Lijuan Shi Massimo Menenti Dongshui Zhang 2020Big Earth Data2020,4,3:2
15Super-conductive silver nanoparticles functioned three-dimensional CuxO foams as a high-pseudocapacitive electrode for flexible asymmetric supercapacitors显示文摘Copper oxide has aroused great concern in energy storage fields due to its properties of high theoretical capacitance,low cost and mild toxicity.However,its wide application still remains challenges owing to its poor electrical conductivity and unstable cycling life.Binder-free foam electrodes possess abundant porous structures and high specific surface area,which could get good contact with electrolyte.Herein,we demonstrate Ag nanoparticles decorated CuxO nanowires grown spontaneously on copper foam(CF)electrode for asymmetric supercapacitor.The skeleton structure of CF provides large amounts of active sites for the growth of CuxO nanowires.Moreover,Ag nanoparticles further decrease the internal resistance and enhance the electrochemical performance.Ag/CuxO/CF-40 electrode presents a high area specific capacitance of 1192 mF cm^(-2)at 2 mA cm^(-2)and the influence of surface capacitance-dominated process and diffusion-controlled process are discussed in detail.Besides,the energy density of the as-prepared asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC)reaches 46.32 mWh cm^(-2)at a power density of 3.00 mW cm^(-2).A 2V LED is lighted successfully by two ASC in series.This work provides a new strategy to prepare low internal resistance and binder-free flexible Ag/CuxO/CF electrode,which demonstrates a good potential application in flexible supercapacitors or other wearable electronic devices.Hui Jiang Xuehua Yan Le Wang Xiaonong Cheng Jieyu Miao Mingyu You Yihan Zhu Jianmei Pan 2021Journal of Materiomics2021,7,1:2
