| 1 | Hausdorff Operators on Function Spaces显示文摘The authors mainly study the Hausdorff operators on Euclidean space R^n. They establish boundedness of the Hausdorff operators in various function spaces, such as Lebesgue spaces, Hardy spaces, local Hardy spaces and Herz type spaces. The results reveal that the Hausdorff operators have better performance on the Herz type Hardy spaces H Kα,pq (R^n) than their performance on the Hardy spaces H^p(R^n) when 0 < p < 1. | 3 | Boundedness of Hausdorff operators on Lebesgue spaces and Hardy spaces显示文摘In this paper, we study the boundedness of the Hausdorff operator H_? on the real line R. First, we start with an easy case by establishing the boundedness of the Hausdorff operator on the Lebesgue space L^p(R)and the Hardy space H^1(R). The key idea is to reformulate H_? as a Calder′on-Zygmund convolution operator,from which its boundedness is proved by verifying the Hrmander condition of the convolution kernel. Secondly,to prove the boundedness on the Hardy space H^p(R) with 0 < p < 1, we rewrite the Hausdorff operator as a singular integral operator with the non-convolution kernel. This novel reformulation, in combination with the Taibleson-Weiss molecular characterization of H^p(R) spaces, enables us to obtain the desired results. | 7 | Grassland Degradation and Its Control in Region AroundQinghai Lake显示文摘A quite severe degradation was found in all seven types of grasslands in the study area involving 12counties of the northwestern Qinghai Province. The slightly, moderately and severely degraded grasslandsoccupied 49.7%, 32.0% and 18.3% of the area respectively. | 8 | Three-dimensional DEM-CFD analysis of air-flow-induced detachment of API particles from carrier particles in dry powder inhalers显示文摘Air flow and particle-particle/wall impacts are considered as two primary dispersion mechanisms for dry powder inhalers(DPIs).Hence,an understanding of these mechanisms is critical for the development of DPIs.In this study,a coupled DEM-CFD(discrete element method-computational fluid dynamics)is employed to investigate the influence of air flow on the dispersion performance of the carrier-based DPI formulations.A carrier-based agglomerate is initially formed and then dispersed in a uniformed air flow.It is found that air flow can drag API particles away from the carrier and those in the downstream air flow regions are prone to be dispersed.Furthermore,the influence of the air velocity and work of adhesion are also examined.It is shown that the dispersion number(i.e.,the number of API particles detached from the carrier)increases with increasing air velocity,and decreases with increasing the work of adhesion,indicating that the DPI performance is controlled by the balance of the removal and adhesive forces.It is also shown that the cumulative Weibull distribution function can be used to describe the DPI performance,which is governed by the ratio of the fluid drag force to the pull-off force. | Jiecheng Yang Chuan-Yu Wu Michael Adams | 2014 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2014,4,1: | 4 |
