1Temperature Distribution and Thermal Stresses in Various Conditions of Moving Heating Source during Line Heating Process显示文摘Line heating method is widely used to manufacture curved surfaces in ship building. The main factors governing the quality of the manufactured products are the moving velocity of the heating source, heating strength, and heating ways. In this study, the temperature distributions of the heated plate were investigated with the condition that the line heating process was automatic. The temperature variations were also investigated with the changes of those three variables. The numerical results showed that the peak temperature decreased as the moving velocity of the heating source increased. 3Cu^+-incorporated TiO_2 overlayer on Cu_2O nanowire photocathodes for enhanced photoelectrochemical conversion of CO_2 to methanol显示文摘In this paper, we report photoelectrochemical(PEC) conversion of carbon dioxide(CO_2) using photocathodes based on Cu_2O nanowires(NWs) overcoated with Cu^+-incorporated crystalline TiO_2(TiO_2–Cu^+ )shell. Cu_2O NW photocathodes show remanent photocurrent of 5.3% after 30 min of PEC reduction of CO_2.After coating Cu_2O with TiO_2–Cu^+ overlayer, the remanent photocurrent is 27.6%, which is an increase by5.2 fold. The charge transfer resistance of Cu_2O/TiO_2–Cu^+ is 0.423 k/cm2, whereas Cu_2O photocathode shows resistivity of 0.781 k/cm2 under irradiation. Mott–Schottky analysis reveals that Cu^+ species embedded in TiO_2 layer is responsible for enhanced adsorption of CO_2 on TiO_2 surface, as evidenced by the decrease of capacitance in the Helmholtz layer. On account of these electrochemical and electronic effects by the Cu^+ species, the Faradaic efficiency(FE) of photocathodes reaches as high as 56.5% when TiO_2–Cu^+ is added to Cu_2O, showing drastic increase from 23.6% by bare Cu_2O photocathodes.Kangha Lee Seokwon Lee Hyunjin Cho Sunil Jeong Whi Dong Kim Sooho Lee Doh C.Lee 2018Journal of Energy Chemistry2018,27,1:3

5Effects of feeding tyrosine and phenylalanine on the accumulation of phenylethanoid glycosides to Cistanche deserticola cell suspension culture显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effects of feeding phenylalanine(Phe) and tyrosine(Tyr) on the accumulation of total phenolic compounds and four phenylethanoid glycosides(PeGs) to a cell suspension culture of the parasitic plant Cistanche deserticola. METHOD: A cell suspension culture of C. deserticola was established and precursors of different concentrations were fed. In each group, the cell was sampled at the 24th day after inoculation. The content of total phenolic compounds and four PeGs compounds were determined using the Folin-Ciocalteu method and an HPLC method, respectively. RESULTS: In the Phe fed cells, the maximum PeGs yield was achieved when Phe was fed at 1.5 mmol·L-1 and the yield reached 1.13 times the control cell concentration. In the Tyr fed cells, the maximum yield of PeGs was 1.60 times of control when 0.75 mmol·L-1 Tyr was fed to the cells. Furthermore, it was found that the salidroside yield was 4.01 times of control group when 5 mmol·L-1 Tyr was fed.
