1Creep model for unsaturated soils in sliding zone of Qianjiangping landslide显示文摘The mechanical behavior of sliding zone soils plays a significant role in landslide. In general, the sliding zone soils are basically in unsaturated state due to rainfall infiltration and reservoir water level fluctuation. Meanwhile, a large number of examples show that the deformation processes of landslides always take a long period of time, indicating that landslides exhibit a time-dependent property. Therefore, the deformation of unsaturated soils of landslide involves creep behaviors. In this paper, the Burgers creep model for unsaturated soils under triaxial stress state is considered based on the unsaturated soil mechanics. Then, by curve fitting using the least squares method, creep parameters in different matric suction states are obtained based on the creep test data of unsaturated soils in the sliding zones of Qianjiangping landslide. Results show that the predicted results are in good agreement with the experimental data. Finally, to further explore the creep characteristics of the unsaturated soils in sliding zones, the relationships between parameters of the model and matric suction are analyzed and a revised Burgers creep model is developed correspondingly. 2Preparation and electrical-magnetic properties of Co_(0.6)Cu_(0.16)Ni_(0.24)Fe_2O_4/MWCNTs composites显示文摘Co0.6Cu0.16Ni0.24Fe2O4/multi-walled carbon nanotube nanocomposites (CCNF/MWCNTs) were synthesized by solution filling method.The phase structure,thermal stability,morphology and electrical-magnetic properties of the samples were characterized by means of modern testing technology.The effect of iron concentration,filling time,sintering temperature on their electrical and magnetic performance was discussed.The results indicated that conductivity was related to the content of MWCNTs,while the magnetism correlated with the volume fraction of the filled CCNF in the composites.When the optimal condition satisfied the filling time of 18 h,ferric concentration of 0.25 mol L-1 and sintering temperature of 350°C,the prepared composite had the best magnetic loss performance,and its minimum reflection loss reached-22.47 dB on 9.76 GHz,the available bandwidth was beyond 2.0 GHz.Hence,the obtained composite can be used as advancing absorption and shielding material due to its favorable microwave absorbing property.XIAO QiuShi HAO Bin LI LiangChao WANG WeiXiang JIN Ye CHEN HaiFeng MA Ge 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,4:5
3Analysis of Bingham fluid radial flow in smooth fractures显示文摘Solutions for radial flow of a Bingham fluid are analyzed in this paper.It aims to eliminate confusions in the literature concerning the plug flow region in different solutions for analysis and design of grouting in rock fractures.The analyses based on the force balance equation reveal that the plug flow region in Bingham radial flow is independent of the fracture radius,and is not a growth function adapted from the solution of one-dimensional(1D)slit flow according to‘similarity’.Based on the shear stress distribution,we analytically proposed that a non-uniform plug flow region cannot exist.The Bingham fluid(grout)penetration and flowrate evolution as functions of grouting time are given using the correct expression for the plug flow region.The radius-independent plug flow region and the presented flowrate evolution equation are also verified numerically.For radial flow,the relative penetration length is equal to the relative width of plug flow region,which is the same as that for 1D channel flow.Discrepancies in analytical solutions for grout penetration and flowrate evolution were also illustrated.The clarification of the plug flow region and evaluation of discrepancies in analytical solutions presented in this work could simplify modeling and design of grouting in rock engineering applications.Liangchao Zou Ulf Håkansson Vladimir Cvetkovic 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,5:5
4A novel microwave absorber——BaAl_2Fe_(10)O_(19)/poly(m-toluidine) composite:Preparation and electromagnetic properties显示文摘BaFe10Al2O19 /poly(m-toluidine)(BFA/PMT) composites were synthesized by in-situ polymerization of m-toluidine in the presence of BaFe10Al2O19 particles.The structure,composition and morphology of the obtained samples were characterized by using XRD,FT-IR,UV-visible spectroscopy,SEM and TEM techniques.Their electrical conductivity,magnetic property and microwave absorbing property were measured by the four-probe meter,the vibrating sample magnetometer and the vector network analyzer,respectively.The results indicated that BFA particles were coated effectively by PMT polymer and some interactions between PMT and BFA particles existing in the composites.The conductivity of BFA/PMT composite is smaller than that of pure polymers and its saturation magnetization is a little smaller than that of pure BFA.The influence of the constitution and film thickness of absorbent on its microwave absorbing property is evident.The microwave absorbing properties of the BFA/PMT composites are better than those of pure BFA and PMT.When optimizing the mass rate of BFA/PMT to 0.3,the absorbent with 2 mm film thickness has the minimum reflection loss of 28.26 dB at approximate 14.24 GHz,and the maximum available bandwidth of 8.8 GHz,respectively.The results show that these composites can be used as advancing absorption and shielding materials due to their favorable microwave absorbing property.CHEN KeYu XU QingQing LI LiangChao GONG PeiJun CHEN HaiFeng XIAO QiuShi Xu Feng 2012Science China Chemistry2012,55,7:4
5Controlled fabrication and electrical-magnetic properties of Poly(OT-co-AN)/Ba_(0.8)La_(0.2)Al_2Fe_(10)O_(19) composites显示文摘Poly(OT-co-AN)/Ba0.8La0.2Al2Fe10O19(Poly(OT-co-AN)/BLAF) composites were fabricated by in situ polymerization method.It was investigated that of mass rate of momomer(mOT/mAN),polymeration temperature and time,and feeding ratio of BLAF effect on the structures,morphology,conductivity,magnetic property of composites by the orthogonal optimum design.The results indicated that poly(OT-co-AN) copolymer had a better coating on BLAF particles,and there were some interactions between components in the composites.The magnetic properties of the composites were related to content of the magnetic BLAF particles in it.The feeding ratio of BLAF had a significant influence on constitute and conductivity of the composites,followed by the temperature.The reflection loss and the effective bandwidth of composites for electromagnetic wave were at-tributed to the synergistic effect between poly(OT-co-AN) and BLAF.The poly(OT-co-AN)/BLAF composites with mass ratio of BLAF to mix monomer(mOT/mAN =1:1) equal to 5/1 at 10 h in 25°C had a maximum synergistic effect between its compo-nents,showed a maximum reflection loss of ?26.94 dB at 14.10 GHz and an available bandwidth of 8.54 GHz.It was sug-gested that the composites can be used as a advancing absorption and shielding materials for electromagnetic wave due to their favorable microwave absorption properties.CHEN KeYu XU QingQing LI LiangChao TONG GuoXiu QIAN HaiSheng XIAO QiuShi XU Feng 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,1:4
6Gleaning insights from German energy transition and large-scale underground energy storage for China’s carbon neutrality显示文摘The global energy transition is a widespread phenomenon that requires international exchange of experiences and mutual learning.Germany’s success in its first phase of energy transition can be attributed to its adoption of smart energy technology and implementation of electricity futures and spot marketization,which enabled the achievement of multiple energy spatial–temporal complementarities and overall grid balance through energy conversion and reconversion technologies.While China can draw from Germany’s experience to inform its own energy transition efforts,its 11-fold higher annual electricity consumption requires a distinct approach.We recommend a clean energy system based on smart sector coupling(ENSYSCO)as a suitable pathway for achieving sustainable energy in China,given that renewable energy is expected to guarantee 85%of China’s energy production by 2060,requiring significant future electricity storage capacity.Nonetheless,renewable energy storage remains a significant challenge.We propose four large-scale underground energy storage methods based on ENSYSCO to address this challenge,while considering China’s national conditions.These proposals have culminated in pilot projects for large-scale underground energy storage in China,which we believe is a necessary choice for achieving carbon neutrality in China and enabling efficient and safe grid integration of renewable energy within the framework of ENSYSCO.Yachen Xie Xuning Wu Zhengmeng Hou Zaoyuan Li Jiashun Luo Christian Truitt Lüddeke Liangchao Huang Lin Wu Jianxing Liao 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,5:4
7Controlled fabrication and microwave absorbing mechanism of hollow Fe3O4@C microspheres显示文摘Uniform core-shell SiO2@Fe_3O_4@C microspheres were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal method with SiO_2 microspheres as the template, and the hollow Fe_3O_4@C(HFC) microspheres were achieved via etching SiO_2 template. By changing the sizes of SiO_2 microspheres, a series of HFC microspheres with variable cavity sizes were obtained to study the relationship between cavity size and microwave absorbing(MA) performance for the first time. The morphology and structure of samples were characterized in detail. The results showed that the MA performance of HFC sample depended on its cavity size. In particular, the hollow structure was good for improving MA performance and could make MA move to the high-frequency region. More importantly, as the cavity size increases, the resonance frequency of HFC-i(i=1,2, 3, 4) samples moved to a low frequency, and the optimal matching thickness of HFC-i samples was increasing. Among all HFC-i samples, HFC-3 showed the most excellent MA performance,which could be mainly explained by the quarter-wavelength matching model, intrinsical magnetic and dielectric loss. Furthermore,the MA performance of HFC mixture blended by the equal mass fraction of HFC-2, HFC-3 and HFC-4 was the comprehensive results of three HFC-i samples. 8Impact of normal stress-induced closure on laboratory-scale solute transport in a natural rock fracture显示文摘The impact of normal stress-induced closure on fluid flow and solute transport in a single rock fracture is demonstrated in this study.The fracture is created from a measured surface of a granite rock sample.The Bandis model is used to calculate the fracture closure due to normal stress,and the fluid flow is simulated by solving the Reynold equation.The Lagrangian particle tracking method is applied to modeling the advective transport in the fracture.The results show that the normal stress significantly affects fluid flow and solute transport in rock fractures.It causes fracture closure and creates asperity contact areas,which significantly reduces the effective hydraulic aperture and enhances flow channeling.Consequently,the reduced aperture and enhanced channeling affect travel time distributions.In particular,the enhanced channeling results in enhanced first arriving and tailing behaviors for solute transport.The fracture normal stiffness correlates linearly with the 5th and 95th percentiles of the normalized travel time.The finding from this study may help to better understand the stress-dependent solute transport processes in natural rock fractures.Liangchao Zou Vladimir Cvetkovic 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,4:3
9Exploring the critical factors influencing online lending intentions显示文摘Background:Online lending(P2P lending)is a type of internet finance mainly used to meet the financial needs of small and medium-sized enterprises and groups of individuals.It is a supplement to the traditional financial system.Method:This paper uses PPDai.com—the most influential online lending platform in China—as a research object to study the leading factors that affect lenders’loan trust and perception of information asymmetry.It also studies the impacts of these factors on lending intention.Results:The results of this study show that the lending intention is mainly influenced by trust;perceived information asymmetry will affect trust,but it will not have a direct impact on lending intention.Trust is significantly affected by the borrowers’reputation and information integrity.Information asymmetry has various causes,including structural assurance and legitimacy.This perception of information asymmetry significantly prevents the further development of online P2P lending.Conclusion:The findings in this research imply that there are profound differences between online lending and online purchasing,thus the results obtained in the traditional e-commerce market cannot be applied in the field of online lending without verification.Peng Wang Haichao Zheng Dongyu Chen Liangchao Ding 2015Financial Innovation2015,1,1:3
10CFD Simulation of Local and Global Mixing Time in an Agitated Tank显示文摘The Issue of mixing efficiency in agitated tanks has drawn serious concern in many industrial processes. The turbulence model is very critical to predicting mixing process in agitated tanks. On the basis of computational fluid dynamics(CFD) software package Fluent 6.2, the mixing characteristics in a tank agitated by dual six-blade-Rushton-turbines(6-DT) are predicted using the detached eddy simulation(DES) method. A sliding mesh(SM) approach is adopted to solve the rotation of the impeller. The simulated flow patterns and liquid velocities in the agitated tank are verified by experimental data in the literature. The simulation results indicate that the DES method can obtain more flow details than Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) model. Local and global mixing time in the agitated tank is predicted by solving a tracer concentration scalar transport equation. The simulated results show that feeding points have great influence on mixing process and mixing time. Mixing efficiency is the highest for the feeding point at location of midway of the two impellers. Two methods are used to determine global mixing time and get close result. Dimensionless global mixing time remains unchanged with increasing of impeller speed. Parallel, merging and diverging flow pattern form in the agitated tank, respectively, by changing the impeller spacing and clearance of lower impeller from the bottom of the tank. The global mixing time is the shortest for the merging flow, followed by diverging flow, and the longest for parallel flow. 12Effect of liquid-solid ratio on the morphology,structure,conductivity,and electromagnetic characteristics of iron particles显示文摘Using a ball-milling technique,polymorphous iron particles were prepared by changing only the liquid-solid ratioλ.Effects of λon their morphology,structure,conductivity,and electromagnetic properties were studied.The results show that an increase ofλfrom 0 to 0.25 causes a nonlinear decrease of the conductivity in the ranges of 88.50-2.25 S cm-1 and a regular variation of the electromagnetic parameters,corresponding to the as-obtained iron particles.This is ascribed to a combination of the increased shape anisotropy and the decreased fresh surface with active atoms deriving from the weakened welding-on action and the enhanced micro-malleation action in the ball-milling process.Hereinto,the iron flakes formed at wet-milling with λ=0.08-0.25 have lower conductivity,higher permittivity and permeability,and more excellent absorption property compared with the irregular iron particles obtained at dry-milling withλ=0.It is a consequence of the synergistic effect of dielectric relaxation loss,exchange energy and conductance loss originating from the flake-shape structures.This indicates that the morphology,structure,conductivity,and electromagnetic properties of the products can be effectively controlled by changingλ.TONG GuoXiu HUA Qiao WU WenHua QIN MingYue LI LiangChao GONG PeiJun 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,2:2
13Fabrication, adsorption and photocatalytic properties of ZnTi0.6Fe1.4O4/Carbon nanotubes composites显示文摘ZnTi_xFe_(2–x)O_4 and ZnTi_(0.6)Fe_(1.4)O_4/Carbon nanotubes(ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4)/CNTs) composites were prepared by chemical co-precipitation method. The composition, microstructure, magnetic property, adsorption and photocatalytic activity of the prepared samples were characterized by means of modern analytical techniques. The results indicated that ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4)/CNTs composites not only held the original special structure and excellent adsorption properties of CNTs, but also had suitable magnetic property and excellent photocatalytic activity. The removal rate of the samples on Rhodamine B(RhB) depended on the adsorption of CNTs and the photocatalytic degradation of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4) in the composites. The maximum adsorption amount(q_m) of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4)/CNTs with the mass ratios of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4) to CNTs(mZ/C)=1 was up to 17.153 mg g^(–1) for RhB, its adsorption behavior was in accord with Langmuir model, and its photocatalytic degradation activity on RhB had a positive correlation with the content of ZT_(0.6)F_(1.4) in the sample. The experimental results indicate that the total removal rate of composite with mZ/C=1 on RhB was more than 95% and the composite had good decontamination capability on industrial dye wastewater. 15A novel license plate recognition method using HTD and VTD features显示文摘In this paper, a novel method of licence plate recognition (LPR) using the vertical traverse density (VTD) and horizontal traverse density (HTD) is presented. The neutral network algorithm using VTD and HTD features is also an innovation. In addition, a so called secondary recognition method which splits characters into different parts is developed.
