| 1 | A sensorless and simple controller for VSC based HVDC systems显示文摘Voltage source converter high-voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) is a new po0wer transmission technology pref- erable in small or medium power transmission. In this paper we discuss a new control system based on space vector modulation (SVM) without any voltage line sensors. Using direct power control (DPC) SVM and a new double synchronous reference frame phase-locked loop (DSRF-PLL) approach, the control system is resistant to the majority of line voltage disturbances. Also, the system response has accelerated by using a feed forward power decoupled loop. The operation of this control strategy was verified in a SIMULINK/MATLAB simulation environment. To validate this control system, a 5 kV·A prototype system was constructed. Compared to the original controllers, the current total harmonic distortion (THD), the active and reactive deviations and the DC voltage overshoot were lowered by 2.5%, 6.2% and 8%, respectively. The rectifier power factor in the worst condition was 0.93 and the DC voltage settling time was 0.2 s. | E. ABIRI A. RAHMATI A. | 2 | Deep learning neural networks for spatially explicit prediction of flash flood probability显示文摘Flood probability maps are essential for a range of applications,including land use planning and developing mitigation strategies and early warning systems.This study describes the potential application of two architectures of deep learning neural networks,namely convolutional neural networks(CNN)and recurrent neural networks(RNN),for spatially explicit prediction and mapping of flash flood probability.To develop and validate the predictive models,a geospatial database that contained records for the historical flood events and geo-environmental characteristics of the Golestan Province in northern Iran was constructed.The step-wise weight assessment ratio analysis(SWARA)was employed to investigate the spatial interplay between floods and different influencing factors.The CNN and RNN models were trained using the SWARA weights and validated using the receiver operating characteristics technique.The results showed that the CNN model(AUC=0.832,RMSE=0.144)performed slightly better than the RNN model(AUC=0.814,RMSE=0.181)in predicting future floods.Further,these models demonstrated an improved prediction of floods compared to previous studies that used different models in the same study area.This study showed that the spatially explicit deep learning neural network models are successful in capturing the heterogeneity of spatial patterns of flood probability in the Golestan Province,and the resulting probability maps can be used for the development of mitigation plans in response to the future floods.The general policy implication of our study suggests that design,implementation,and verification of flood early warning systems should be directed to approximately 40%of the land area characterized by high and very susceptibility to flooding. | Mahdi Panahi Abolfazl Jaafari Ataollah Shirzadi Himan Shahabi Omid Rahmati Ebrahim Omidvar Saro Lee Dieu Tien Bui | 2021 | Geoscience Frontiers2021,12,3: | 4 |

| 4 | 在常数或变量扩容参数下岩石隧道塑性区扩容角的变化(英文)显示文摘扩容角是隧道数值模拟中一个重要的参数。虽然现有扩容模型表明扩容参数是变量,与约束有关且经受剪切应变,但利用常数扩容参数对隧道和地下孔洞进行数值模拟,在实际应用中可以得到令人满意的结果。本研究旨在查明为什么在实验室和试验过程中,扩容角为变量,而在实际上隧道和地下采挖的数值模拟过程中可以用常数进行模拟。研究了隧道塑性区扩容角的变化情况。对于具有均匀原位应力场的圆形隧道,采用考虑应变软化岩体行为的梯度有限差分近似解析解研究了在不同条件下,移动扩容角在隧道周围塑性区的变化规律。在本研究确定的实际条件下,隧道周围塑性区全部的扩容行为可以近似为塑性区中部的恒定扩容角。此外,比较了移动扩容角模型和定扩容角模型的塑性区位移。利用商用有限差分软件对AECL(加拿大原子能有限公司)的矿山试验隧道和拱形隧道进行了数值模拟,对非均匀应力条件和非圆形隧道进行了进一步研究。虽然在移动扩容角模型的基础上对矿山及拱形巷道进行了数值模拟,但模拟矿山及拱形巷道周围的扩容角变化不明显,塑性区扩容角近似恒定。 | Hamed MOLLADAVOODI Marzieh RAHMATI | 2018 | Journal of Central South University2018,25,10: | 3 |
| 5 | Squeezing rock conditions at phyllite-slate zone in Golab water conveyance tunnel,Iran:A case study显示文摘Squeezing ground in tunneling is associated with large deformation of the tunnel face. In this study, squeezing characteristics of the ground and rock conditions in Golab water conveyance tunnel, Iran, are discussed and the classification of squeezing behavior around zones where the problems occurred is presented. The squeezing conditions were investigated using empirical and semi empirical methods. In the next step, creep convergence of the tunnel with Burger's model was simulated by the numerical method. Numerical analysis showed that wall displacement(64.1 mm) of the Golab tunnel was more than allowable strain(1% of the tunnel diameter), therefore, it was found that squeezing phenomenon could exist, leading to the failure of the support system. Numerical analysis at the phyllite-slate zone also showed squeezing conditions due to the weakness of rock mass and high overburden that this situation cause failure in the segmental lining. | 6 | Perusing Piezoelectric Head Performance in a New 3-D Printing Design显示文摘Rapid prototyping (RP) is a computerized fabrication technology that additively builds highly complex three-dimensional physical objects layer by layer using data generated by computer, for example CAD or digital graphic. Three-dimensional printing (3DP) is one of such technologies that employ ink-jet printing technology for processing powder materials. During fabrication, a printer head is used to print a liquid on to thin layers of powder following the object's profile as generated by the system computer. This work looks at redesigning 3DP machine, using piezoelectric demand-mode technology head in order to improve accuracy, surface finishing and color quality of constructed models.
