1棉花高强纤维QTLs的微卫星标记筛选显示文摘利用我国培育的高强纤维种质系 72 35为材料 ,开展了棉花高强纤维基因或 QTL微卫星标记的筛选。通过2 11对 SSR引物的筛选 ,鉴定出与高强纤维 QTL连锁的 SSR标记 3个 :NAU / SSR/ fs11 30 、NAU / SSR/ fs2 1 90 、NAU /SSR/ fs32 2 0 。 NAU / SSR/ fs11 30 、NAU / SSR/ fs2 1 90 两个标记紧密连锁 ,重组率为 2 .3c M,标记的 QTL占 (72 35× TM- 1)F2 分离群体总遗传变异的 30 .9%。此外 ,这一标记的 QTL在不同年份不同环境表现稳定 ,这是鉴定出的一个控制棉花高强纤维表现的主效位点。NAU/ SSR/ fs32 2 0 与另一个高强纤维 QTL 连锁 ,但遗传效应值小 ,不稳定。单体测验表明 ,NAU/ SSR/ fs11 30 、NAU/ SSR/ fs2 1 90 标记的 QTL 位于第 10染色体上 ,而 NAU/ SSR/ fs32 2 0 标记的 QTL 位于第张天真 袁有禄 郭旺珍 John Yu Russell J Kohel 2001中国农业科学2001,34,4:24

3Cardioprotection and pharmacological therapies in acute myocardial infarction: Challenges in the current era显示文摘In patients with an acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, timely myocardial reperfusion using primary percutaneous coronary intervention is the most effective therapy for limiting myocardial infarct size, preserving left-ventricular systolic function and reducing the onset of heart failure. Within minutes after the restoration of blood flow, however, reperfusion itself results in additional damage, also known as myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury. An improved understanding of the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying reperfusion injury has resulted in the identification ofseveral promising pharmacological(cyclosporin-A, exenatide, glucose-insulin-potassium, atrial natriuretic peptide, adenosine, abciximab, erythropoietin, metoprolol and melatonin) therapeutic strategies for reducing the severity of myocardial reperfusion injury. Many of these agents have shown promise in initial proofof-principle clinical studies. 6Abdominal applications of diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging: Where do we stand?显示文摘Diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) is one of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequences providing qualitative as well as quantitative information at a cellular level. It has been widely used for various applications in the central nervous system. Over the past decade, various extracranial applications of DWI have been increasingly explored, as it may detect changes even before signal alterations or morphological abnormalities become apparent on other pulse sequences. Initial results from abdominal MRI applications are promising, particularly in oncological settings and for the detection of abscesses. 7钼酸盐在硼硅酸盐玻璃体系中的溶解显示文摘在英国和法国的很多高放核废料中都含有大量的钼。钼在核废料玻璃中的溶解度很低,过量的钼会导致玻璃产生钼酸盐分相从而影响核废料玻璃化的效率和安全。主要研究了钼酸盐在硼酸盐玻璃中的溶解度与玻璃中碱土金属元素的关系以及钼酸盐的溶解对玻璃的结构和性质的影响。在其它玻璃组分不变的情况下,对玻璃中的碱土金属(由镁至钡)进行等摩尔量替换。结果发现,当碱土金属为钙时钼酸盐的溶解度最高,为2.84 mol%。XRD结果显示除了明显分相的玻璃外其它均一玻璃均为无定形态。SEM结果显示玻璃基体内的分相大多为球状/水滴状并呈随机分布;其尺寸与钼酸盐的过量程度有关,但直径都小于1?m。对钙硼硅酸盐玻璃中析出相的EDX分析表明其中富含钼和钙,而TEM结果证明这些析出相为晶体相且符合钼酸钙的电子衍射特征。含钼玻璃有两个强烈的拉曼峰(分别位于320和910 cm–1附近):其强度随玻璃中钼含量的增加而增加,其位置随玻璃中碱土金属元素的变化而偏移。此外,钼的加入也会导致玻璃的玻璃转变温度降低以及玻璃密度增加。谭盛恒 Russell J HAND 2016中国材料进展2016,35,7:12
8Transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs)in lineage commitment and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)显示文摘Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)are ubiquitously-existing multipotent progenitors that can self-renew and differentiate into multiple lineages including osteocytes,chondrocytes,adipocytes,tenocytes and myocytes.MSCs represent one of the most commonly-used adult progenitors and serve as excellent progenitor cell models for investigating lineagespecific differentiation regulated by various cellular signaling pathways,such as bone morphogenetic proteins(BMPs).As members of TGFb superfamily,BMPs play diverse and important roles in development and adult tissues.At least 14 BMPs have been identified in mammals.Different BMPs exert distinct but overlapping biological functions.Through a comprehensive analysis of 14 BMPs in MSCs,we demonstrated that BMP9 is one of the most potent BMPs in inducing osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.Nonetheless,a global mechanistic view of BMP signaling in regulating the proliferation and differentiation of MSCs remains to be fully elucidated.Here,we conducted a comprehensive transcriptomic profiling in the MSCs stimulated by 14 types of BMPs.Hierarchical clustering analysis classifies 14 BMPs into three subclusters:an osteo/chondrogenic/adipogenic cluster,a tenogenic cluster,and BMP3 cluster.We also demonstrate that six BMPs(e.g.,BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,BMP8,and BMP9)can induce ISmads effectively,while BMP2,BMP3,BMP4,BMP7,and BMP11 up-regulate Smad-independent MAP kinase pathway.Furthermore,we show that many BMPs can upregulate the expression of the signal mediators of Wnt,Notch and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways.While the reported transcriptomic changes need to be further validated,our expression profiling represents the first-of-its-kind to interrogate a comprehensive transcriptomic landscape regulated by the 14 types of BMPs in MSCs.Linghuan Zhang Qing Luo Yi Shu Zongyue Zeng Bo Huang Yixiao Feng Bo Zhang Xi Wang Yan Lei Zhenyu Ye Ling Zhao Daigui Cao Lijuan Yang Xian Chen Bin Liu William Wagstaff Russell R*Reid Hue H*Luu Rex C*Haydon Michael J*Lee Jennifer Moriatis Wolf Zhou Fu Tong-Chuan He Quan Kang 2019Genes & Diseases2019,6,3:11

10Secretion of melatonin and 6-sulfatoxymelatonin urinary excretion in functional dyspepsia显示文摘AIM:To evaluate blood concentration of melatonin and urinary excretion of its metabolite,6-sulfatoxymelatonin(6-OHMS),in functional dyspepsia(FD).METHODS:Ninety individuals were enrolled in the study:30 in each study group:patients with postprandial distress syndrome(PDS),epigastric pain syndrome(EPS),and controls.Blood samples were drawn at 02:00 and 09:00 h and 24-h urine collection was performed.Serum melatonin and urinary 6-OHMS concentrations were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Serum melatonin concentration at night and in the morning was significantly(P < 0.001) higher in PDS patients [at 02:00 h-93.3 pg/mL,quartile range(QR):79.8-116.2;at 09.00 h-14.3 pg/mL,QR:7.06-19.0] than in EPS(57.2 pg/mL,QR:42.6-73.1;8.1 pg/mL,QR:4.1-9.3) and control patients(57.7 pg/mL,QR:51.2-62.5;8.1 pg/mL,QR:5.4-10.3).A similar relationship was observed for urinary 6-OHMS excretion.Patients with severe PDS symptoms had a higher melatonin concentration than these with moderate syndromes,whereas patients with severe EPS had a lower urinary 6-OHMS excretion than patients with moderate symptoms.CONCLUSION:Evaluation of melatonin serum concentrations and 24-h urinary 6-OHMS excretion are useful methods for differential diagnosis of various clinical forms of FD.Cezary Chojnacki Tomasz Poplawski Grazyna Klupinska Janusz Blasiak Jan Chojnacki Russel J Reiter 2011World Journal of Gastroenterology2011,17,21:8
11Evaluation of enterochromaffin cells and melatonin secretion exponents in ulcerative colitis显示文摘AIM: To study an assessment of the number of enterochromaffin cells and expression of hydroxyindole-Omethyltransferase in colonic mucosa and urine excretion of 6-sulfatoxymelatonin in patients with ulcerative colitis. METHODS: The study included 30 healthy subjects (groupⅠ-C), 30 patients with ulcerative proctitis [group Ⅱ-ulcerative proctitis (UP)] and 30 patients with ulcerative colitis [group Ⅲ-ulcerative colitis (UC)] in acute phases of these diseases. The number of enterochromaffin cells (EC) was estimated in rectal and colonic mucosa. Bioptates were assembled from many different parts of the large intestine. Immunorective cells collected from various parts of the colon were counted according to the Eurovision DAKO (Dako A/S, Copenhagen, Denmark) System in the range of 10 fields in each bioptate at × 200 magnification. The level of mRNA expression of hydroxyindole-O-methyltransferase (HIOMT) in colonic mucosa was estimated with RT-PCR. Urine 6-sulfatoxymelatonin (6-HMS) excretion was determined immunoenzymatically using an IBL (IBL International GmbH, Hamburg, Germany) kit (RE 54031). RESULTS: The number of EC cells in healthy subjects (C) was 132.40 ± 31.26. In patients of group Ⅱ (UP) and group Ⅲ (UC) the number of these cells was higher 225.40 ± 37.35 (P < 0.001) and 225.24 ± 40.50 (P < 0.001) respectively. Similar differences were related to HIOMT expression, which was 1.04 ± 0.36 in group C, 1.56 ± 0.56 (P < 0.01) in group UP and 2.00 ± 0.35 (P < 0.001) in group UC. Twenty-four hour 6-HMS urinary excretion was as follows: C 16.32 ± 4.95 μg/24 h, UP 26.30 ± 7.29 μg/24 h (P < 0.01), UC 42.30 ± 12.56 μg/24h (P < 0.001). A correlation between number of EC cells and 6-HMS excretion was noted in all groups: r = 0.766 in patients with UP, r = 0.703 with UC and r = 0.8551 in the control group; the correlation between the results is statistically significant. CONCLUSION: In the acute phases of both UP and UC, proliferation of EC cells and high expression of HIOMT and urine excretion of 6-HMS is noted. 12Radial artery access site complications during cardiac procedures,clinical implications and potential solutions: The role of nitric oxide显示文摘Percutaneous coronary intervention for the treatment of coronary artery disease is most commonly performed in the UK through the radial artery,as this is considered to be safer than the femoral approach.However,despite improvements in technology and techniques,complications can occur.The most common complication,arterial spasm,can cause intense pain and,in some cases,procedural failure.The incidence of spasm is dependent on several variables,including operator experience,artery size,and equipment used.An antispasmolytic cocktail can be applied to reduce spasm,which usually includes an exogenous nitric oxide(NO)donor(glyceryl trinitrate).NO is an endogenous local vasodilator and therefore is a potential target for anti-spasm intervention.However,systemic administration can result in unwanted side-effects,such as hypotension.A method that adopts local delivery of NO might be advantageous.This review article describes the mechanisms involved in radial artery spasm,discusses the advantages and disadvantages of current strategies to reduce spasm,and highlight the potential of NO-loaded nanoporous materials for use in this setting.Emma M Coghill Timothy Johnson Russell E Morris Ian L Megson Stephen J Leslie 2020World Journal of Cardiology2020,12,1:4
13Preoperative immunonutrition in patients undergoing liver resection:A prospective randomized trial显示文摘BACKGROUND Preoperative supplementation with immunonutrients, including arginine and n-3 fatty acids, has been shown in a number of systematic reviews to reduce infectious complications in patients who have undergone gastrointestinal surgery. Limited information, however, is available on the benefits of nutritional supplementation enriched with arginine and n-3 fatty acids in patients undergoing liver resection.AIM To evaluate the effects of preoperative nutritional supplementation enriched with arginine and n-3 fatty acids on inflammatory and immunologic markers and clinical outcome in patients undergoing liver resection.METHODS Thirty-four patients undergoing liver resection were randomized to either five days of preoperative Impact? [1020 kcal/d, immunonutrition(IMN) group], or standard care [no supplementation, standard care(STD) group]. Nutritional status was measured at study entry by subjective global assessment(SGA).Functional assessments(grip strength, fatigue and performance status) were carried out at study entry, on the day prior to surgery, and on postoperative day(POD) 7 and 30. Inflammatory and immune markers were measured at study entry, on the day prior to surgery, and POD 1, 3, 5, 7, 10 and 30. Postoperative complications were recorded prospectively until POD30.RESULTS A total of 32 patients(17 IMN and 15 STD) were analysed. All except four patients were SGA class A. The plasma ratio of(eicosapentaenoic acid plus docosahexaenoic acid) to arachidonic acid was higher in IMN patients on the day prior to surgery and POD 1, 3, 5 and 7(P < 0.05). Plasma interleukin(IL)-6 concentrations were elevated in the IMN group(P = 0.017 for POD7). No treatment effect was detected for functional measures, immune response(white cell count and total lymphocytes) or markers of inflammation(C-reactive protein,tumour necrosis factor-α, IL-8, IL-10). There were 10 patients with infectious complications in the IMN group and 4 in the STD group(P = 0.087). 20Diagnostic and therapeutic role of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography in biliary rhabdomyosarcoma显示文摘Biliary rhabdomyosarcoma (BRMS) is an uncommon childhood malignancy which has been managed surgically. We present a case of a 3-year-old boy with BRMS, in whom endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) was successfully used both diagnostically and therapeutically, thus obviating the need for surgery and its attendant risks of morbidity and mortality.
