1Monitoring the concentration of N_2O in the Fildes Peninsula, maritime Antarctica显示文摘Gases in the marine boundary layer in Fildes Peninsula, maritime Antarctica were sampled and analyzed for the first time. Sampling sites included areas covered by moss and lichen growth, penguin colonies and an area where scientific research stations are located. A total of 211 samples were analyzed for N2O concentrations, with an average of (321.33±3.07) nL/L. This is above the global average value of 314 nL/L. It is found that the N2O concentrations evidently increase during the summer months. Concentrations around the research stations are higher than at remote areas, indicating a potential source from human activities on the island. N2O concentrations at a large penguin colony on Barton Peninsula are the highest among the sampled areas. This may explain why N2O concentrations in Fildes Peninsula are higher than the global average. 2Timing and geochemical characters of the Sanchazi magmatic arc in Mianlüe tectonic zone,South Qinling显示文摘The Sanchazi mafic-ultramafic complex in Mianlüe tectonic zone,South Qinling can be subdivided into two blocks,I.e.Sanchazi paleo-magmatic arc and Zhuangkegou paleo-oceanic crust fragment (ophiolite).The Sanchazi paleo-magmatic arc is mainly composed of ande-site,basaltic and basalt-andesitic gabbro(or diorite),andesitic dyke,plagiogranite and minor ul-tramafric rocks,which have typical geochemical features of island arc volcanic rocks,such as high field strength element(e.g.Nb,Ti)depletions and lower Cr,Ni contents.The Light rare earth element (LREE) and K enrichments of these rocks and zircon xenocrystals of 900 Ma from plagiogranite suggest that this magmatic arc was developed on the South active continental margin of the South Qinling micro-continent.The U-Pb age of (300±61) Ma for zircons from plagiogranite in-dicates that the Mianlüe paleo-oceanic crust was probably subducted underneath the South Qinling micro-continent in Carboniferous.This is consistent with the formation time (309Ma) of the Huwan eclogite originating form oceanic subduction in Dabie Mountains,suggesting that the Mianlüe paleo-ocean probably extended eastward to the Dabie Mountains in Carboniferous.The high-Mg adakitic rocks in Sanchazi paleo-magmatic arc suggest thet the subducted oceanic crust was relatively young (<25Ma) and hot.LI Shuguang1, HOU Zhenhui1, YANG Yongcheng2, SUN Weidong1,1), ZHANG Guowei3, & LI Qiuli1 1. 3Tectonic Framework and Evolution of the Dabie Mountains in Anhui, Eastern China显示文摘The Dabie Mountains are believed to be a collisional orogenic belt between the Yangtze amd Sino-Koreancontinental plates. It is composed of the foreland fold-thrust zone, the subducting cover and basement of theYangtze continental plate, the coesite- and diamond-bearing ultra-high pressure metamorphic zone and themeta-ophiolitic melange zone in the subducting basement, the fore-arc flysch nappe and the back thrust zoneoccurring respectively on the southern and northern margins of the Sino-Korean continental plate and the in-herited basin with molassic deposits on the northern margin. When the palaeo-Dabie oceanic plate subductednorthward in the Early Palaeozoic, volcanic arc and back arc basin probably formed on the southern margin ofthe Sino-Korean continental plate. 5Discovery and analysis of ultra-micro grinding grain texture in slipping lamellae of ductile-brittle zone显示文摘Based on the observation of the deep bore cores sampled from the State of Cali-fornia, USA, preferred arranged particulate concentration belts were found in the ultra-slipping lamellae. And the same phenomenon was found again later in the bore cores from the petroleum basin in the Northern Shaanxi Province. It may be the product of the dynamic processes involv-ing tumbling, grinding and compresso-shearing functions, so the spherical particulates with ul-tra-size of nm and mm are called grinding grain. The formation of the grinding grains is related with the ductile-brittle deformation, the lateral pressure of the slipping, and the very low grade of dynamic metamorphism of the rocks. Based on the systematic analysis, it is indicated that some elements like Nb and Ta are enriched in the grinding grains in the granitic rocks because of the chemical differentiation, and that the slipping lamellae bearing grinding grains in mudstone with smear efficiency prove a perfect seal for oil and gas reservoirs. 6Atmospheric nitrous oxide observations above the oceanic surface during CHINARE-18显示文摘The gas samples in the marine boundary layer were collected from the track for research ship Xuelong during the 18th Chinese Antarctic Research Expedition (CHINARE-18) and nitrous oxide measurements were made by HP5890ECD-GC in the laboratory. The results represent the shipboard N2O data set obtained within the lower troposphere with the average concentration of (313.5±2.6)nL*L-1 from 31°N to 69°S. The results showed a latitudinally weighted, mean interhemispheric difference of 0.61 nL*L-1. The latitudinal distribution of atmospheric N2O concentration was analyzed from northern midlatitudes to Southern Ocean around the Antarctic continent and it was showed that N2O concentration in the current confluences was higher than that in other oceanic areas. This indicated that strong N2O emissions occurred there. The longitudinal distribution of N2O concentrations in the Southern Ocean also showed similar situation. 7Formation of hyperbranched polymers in atom transfer radical copolymerization of MMA and DVB显示文摘Hyperbranched poly(methyl methacrylate)s (HPMMAs) have been successfully prepared by atom transfer radical copolymerization of MMA and divinylbenzene (DVB).Kinetic study shows complete consumption of the initiator in 0.5 h,and relatively low polymerization rate when DVB content in the feed was high.By analyzing MALDI-TOF spectra of the resulting copolymers,the linear A n B (n=0,1,2,3) oligomers were formed in 0.5 h of polymerization,and then the oligomers reacted each other to form dimers,further reactions produced HPMMA.The SEC and NMR spectroscopies were used to trace the polymerization,and the results demonstrate that small amount of the branching reactions occur in the initial polymerization,and the branched polymers are significantly generated past a certain conversion depending upon the feed ratios.Raising the content of DVB in the monomer mixture can increase the pendent vinyl groups of the linear oligo-inimers,leading to gelation at low MMA conversion.SUN Miao & PAN CaiYuan CAS Key Laboratory of Soft Matter Chemistry Department of Polymer Science and Engineering,University of Science and Technology of China,Hefei 230026,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,12:4
8A mechanism for enhanced photocatalytic activity of nano-size silver particle modified titanium dioxide thin films显示文摘Ag-TiO2 nanostructured thin films with silver volume fraction of 0–20% were deposited on silicon and quartz substrates by RF magnetron sputtering and annealed in ambient air at 950°C for 1 h. The phase structure and surface topography of the films were characterized by X-ray diffractometer and transmission electron microscope. Photocatalytic activity of the films was evaluated by light induced degradation of methyl orange (C14H14N3NaO3S) solution using a high pressure mercury lamp as lamp-house. The relation of photocatalytic activity and silver content was studied in detail. It was found that silver content influences phase structure of TiO2 thin films, and silver in the films is metallic Ag (Ag0). With increasing silver content from 0 to 20 vol%, photocatalytic activity of the films increases first and then decreases. A suitable amount (2.5–5 vol%) silver addition can significantly enhance the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 films. 9Super-resolution imaging and tracking of TGF-β receptor II on living cells显示文摘Single-particle tracking photoactivated localization microscopy(spt PALM) has recently emerged as a powerful tool for high-density imaging and tracking of individual molecules in living cells. In this work, we have monitored and compared the diffusion dynamics of TGF-b type II receptor(Tb RII) at high expression level using both traditional single-particle tracking(SPT) and spt PALM.The ligand-induced aggregation of Tb RII oligomers was further indicated by spt PALM. 10Temporal and spatial variations of δ^(15)N and δ^(18)O for atmospheric N_2O above the oceanic surface from Shanghai to Antarctica显示文摘During the 22nd Chinese Antarctic Research Expedition (CHINARE-22), the atmospheric gas samples above the oceanic surface and near the surface were collected on the track for the scientific ship 'Xuelong' and on Millor Peninsula of eastern Antarctica, respectively, using the Tedlar gas bags. Every day the sampling times were 10:00 and 22:00 (local time), respectively. In the laboratory, high-precision measurement of the isotopic compositions for N2O in these gas samples was conducted using Thermo Finnigan MAT-253 Isotopic Mass Spectrometer with a fully automated interface for the pre-GC concen-tration (PreCon) of trace gases. The temporal and spatial variations of δ 15N and δ 18O in atmospheric N2O were analyzed. The mean δ 15N and δ 18O-N2O values above the oceanic surface were (7.21±0.50)‰ and (44.52±0.52)‰, respectively. From 30°N to Antarctica, the δ 15N (6.05‰―7.88‰) linearly increased with the rate of about 0.01‰ with the latitude while the δ 18O (43.05‰―48.78‰) showed a large fluctua-tion. The δ 15N negatively correlated with air temperature and N2O concentration, and slightly positively correlated with δ 18O. The summertime variations of δ 15N and δ 18O-N2O appeared the same trend on Millor Peninsula of eastern Antarctica. They significantly positively correlated with each other and negatively with N2O concentration. The δ 15N and δ 18O-N2O at different sites averaged (7.42±0.35)‰ and (44.69±0.49)‰, respectively, slightly higher than those above the oceanic surface, significantly higher than those of atmospheric N2O in the low-latitude regions of Northern Hemisphere. The predominant factors affecting the spatial variations of δ 15N and δ 18O values were also discussed. 13Re-Os isotopic composition of the Dongling ⅢCD iron meteorite显示文摘Re, Os concentrations and Os isotopic compositions of the Dongling ⅢCD iron meteorite were determined by N-TIMS technique. The result was compared with that of the other irons and chondrites. The Re and Os concentrations of the Dongling iron meteorite were plotted on the trends of the group ⅢA and ⅣA irons. The Pt-Os relation of the Dongling iron meteorite is similar to that of the group ⅡA irons. 14Electrostatic Discharge Effects on the High-voltage Solar Array显示文摘A certain number of charges are deposited on the surface of high-voltage solar array because of effects of space plasma,high-energy charged particles,and solar illumination,hence the surface is charged.Phenomena of electrostatic discharge(ESD) occur on the surface when the deposited charges exceed a threshold amount.In this paper,the mechanism of this ESD is discussed.The ground simulation experiment of the ESD using spacecraft material under surface charging is described,and a novel ESD protecting method for high-voltage solar array,i.e.an active protecting method based on the local strong electric field array is proposed.The results show that the reversal potential gradient field between the cover surface and the substrate materials of high-voltage solar array is a triggering factor for the ESD on the array.The threshold voltage for the ESD occurring on the surface is about 500 V.The charged particles could be deflected using the electric field active protecting method,and hence the ESD on the surface is avoided even when the voltage on the conductor array increases to a certain value.These results pave the way for further developing the protecting measures for high-voltage solar arrays.YUAN Qingyun SUN Yongwei CAO Hefei LIU Cunli 2013高电压技术2013,39,10:2

18The Effect of Heterogeneity on Rock's Ultrasonic Attenuation and Its Correction显示文摘The effect of Rayleigh scatter caused by the heterogeneity of rocks, on attenuation measurement has been considered adequately. According to the related theory and calculation, we can distinguish the intrinsic attenuation from the scattering attenuation. And we amended the classic spectral ratio method, based on the homogeneous medium hypothesis. Using the improved spectral ratio method, we can obtain Q value within a wider frequency range, so we can eliminate the uncertainty condition in classic spectral ratio, where Q value depends on the frequency range. The frequency shift method has been introduced and improved. Those three methods on one set of data had been applied.
