| 1 | Structure Stability and Oxygen Permeability of Perovskite-type Oxides of Ba_(0.5)Sr_(0.5)Co_(0.8)Fe_(0.1)R_(0.1)O_ (3-δ)(R=Al,Mn,Fe,Ce,Cr,Ni,Co)显示文摘Perovskite-type Ba 0.5 Sr 0.5 Co 0.8 Fe 0.1 R 0.1 O 3 δ (R=Al,Mn,Fe,Ce,Cr,Ni,Co) oxide membranes were exploited and synthesized.Oxygen behavior,order-disorder transition and phase stability of these composite oxides were investigated by combined analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD),temperature programmed desorption (TPD),thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA).Oxygen permeation through these membranes was studied by the gas chromatography (GC) method using a high-temperature permeation cell in a wide temperature range from 700 to 950 C.High permeation fluxes were observed for these materials.The high permeation flux was about 3.19 ml·min 1 ·cm 2 under air/He gradients at 950 C,which was achieved for Ba 0.5 Sr 0.5 Co 0.8 Fe 0.1 Ni 0.1 O 3 δ (BSCFNiO) membrane.The results of analysis showed no phase transition for BSCFNiO oxide with increasing temperature and XRD pattern of this material after O 2-TPD indicated to sustain a pure perovskite structure after oxygen permeation process. | Ensieh Ganji Babakhani Jafar Towfighi Laleh Shirazi Ali Nakhaeipour Akbar Zamaniyan Zahra Shafiei | 2012 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2012,28,2: | 4 |

| 3 | In-vitro bioactivity evaluation and physical properties of an epoxy-based dental sealer reinforced with synthesized fluorine-substituted hydroxyapatite, hydroxyapatite and bioactive glass nanofillers显示文摘The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physical properties and bioactivity potential of epoxy-based dental sealers modified with synthesized bioactive glass(BAG),hydroxyapatite(HA)and fluorine substituted hydroxyapatite(FHA)nanoparticles.The synthesized powders were incorporated at 10%and 20%into the epoxy-based dental sealer.The setting time,flow and solubility and microhardness of the modified and unmodified samples were examined.The bioactivity was evaluated using FESEM-EDX and elemental mapping,ATR-FTIR and XRD.The flow value of all of the experimental groups except the FHA modified samples,was greater than 20 mm.Concerning solubility,no specimens exhibited more than 1%weight loss.The solubility value of the FHA groups was statistically significant lower than other groups(p≤0.001).The mean hardness values of all of the modified samples were significantly higher than the unmodified group(p≤0.001).Regarding bioactivity,in vitro study revealed that after 3 days immersion in SBF a compact and continuous calcium phosphate layer formed on the surface of epoxy sealers containing BAG and HA nanoparticles.Based on these results,the addition of BAG and HA nanoparticles did not adversely alter the physical properties of epoxy sealers.Additionally,they improved the in vitro bioactivity of the epoxy sealer. | Bahaa Abdulrazzaq Jerri Al-Bakhsh Farhad Shafiei Atieh Hashemian Kiana Shekofteh Behnam Bolhari Marjan Behroozibakhsh | 2019 | Bioactive Materials2019,4,1: | 3 |
| 4 | DYNAMICS OF KNOWLEDGE ACCUMULATION IN TECHNOLOGY FOLLOWER COUNTRIES: A SYSTEM DYNAMICS APPROACH显示文摘In this paper the process of knowledge accumulation for a particular technology is studied. Two countries, say the technology follower and the technology frontier, are considered. The frontier’s knowledge growth is determined by its R&D efforts on the technology. The level of knowledge stock for the follower country is augmented by its R&D activities for the technology and absorbing some of the external knowledge through spillover from the frontier. The extent to which the follower is able to exploit the external knowledge depends on technological gap, absorptive capacity, absorption time and degree of spillover. New concepts such as natural and enhanced degree of spillover, background and innovative knowledge and absorption speed are introduced in the present work to deeply explore the process of knowledge spillover. The factors influencing the knowledge development in the long term are simultaneously studied in an integrated structure provided by the System Dynamics approach. | 6 | An investigation into the effects of lime on compressive and shear strength characteristics of fiber-reinforced clays显示文摘To meet the ever-increasing construction demands around the world during recent years,reinforcement and stabilization methods have been widely used by geotechnical engineers to improve the performances and behavior of fine-grained soils.Although lime stabilization increases the compressive strength of soils,it reduces the soil ductility at the same time.Recent research shows that random fiber inclusion modifies the brittleness of soils.In the current research,the effects of lime and polypropylene(PP)fiber additions on such characteristics as compressive and shear strengths,failure strain,secant modulus of elasticity(E50)and shear strength parameters of mixtures were investigated.Kaolinite was treated with 1%,3% and 5% lime by dry weight of soil and reinforced with 0.1% monovalent PP fibers with the length of 6 mm.Samples were prepared at optimum conditions and cured at 35℃ for 1 d,7 d and 28 d at 90% relative humidity and subsequently subjected to uniaxial and triaxial compression tests(UCT and TCT)under cell pressures of 25 kPa,50 kPa and 100 kPa.Results showed that inclusion of random PP fibers to clay-lime mixtures increases both compressive and shear strengths as well as the ductility.Lime content and curing period were found to be the most influential factors.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)analysis showed that lime addition and the formation of cementitious compounds bind soil particles and increase soil/fiber interactions at interface,leading to enhanced shear strength.The more ductile the stabilized and reinforced composition,the less the cracks in roads and waste landfill covers. | Mahmood Reza Abdi Abbas Ghalandarzadeh Leila Shafiei Chafi | 2021 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2021,13,4: | 2 |
