2Large-area straight,regular periodic surface structures produced on fused silica by the interference of two femtosecond laser beams through cylindrical lens显示文摘Inhomogeneity and low efficiency are two important factors that limit the application of laser-induced periodic surface structures(LIPSSs),especially on glass surfaces.In this study,two-beam interference(TBI)of femtosecond lasers was used to produce large-area straight LIPSSs on fused silica using cylindrical lenses.Compared with those produced us-ing a single circular or cylindrical lens,the LIPSSs produced by TBI are much straighter and more regular.Depending on the laser fluence and scanning velocity,LIPSSs with grating-like or spaced LIPSSs are produced on the fused silica sur-face.Their structural colors are blue,green,and red,and only green and red,respectively.Grating-like LIPSS patterns oriented in different directions are obtained and exhibit bright and vivid colors,indicating potential applications in surface coloring and anti-counterfeiting logos.Long Chen Kaiqiang Cao Yanli Li Jukun Liu Shian Zhang Donghai Feng Zhenrong Sun Tianqing Jia 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,12:7
3Mesoscale Dynamics and Its Application in Torrential Rainfall Systems in China显示文摘Progress over the past decade in understanding moisture-driven dynamics and torrential rain storms in China is reviewed in this paper. First, advances in incorporating moisture effects more realistically into theory are described, including the development of a new parameter, generalized moist potential vorticity(GMPV) and an improved moist ageostrophic Q vector(Qum). Advances in vorticity dynamics are also described, including the adoption of a 'parcel dynamic' approach to investigate the development of the vertical vorticity of an air parcel; a novel theory of slantwise vorticity development, proposed because vorticity develops easily near steep isentropic surfaces; and the development of the convective vorticity vector(CVV)as an effective new tool. The significant progress in both frontal dynamics and wave dynamics is also summarized, including the geostrophic adjustment of initial unbalanced flow and the dual role of boundary layer friction in frontogenesis, as well as the interaction between topography and fronts, which indicate that topographic perturbations alter both frontogenesis and frontal structure. For atmospheric vortices, mixed wave/vortex dynamics has been extended to explain the propagation of spiral rainbands and the development of dynamical instability in tropical cyclones. 4Extremely regular periodic surface structures in a large area efficiently induced on silicon by temporally shaped femtosecond laser显示文摘Femtosecond laser-induced periodic surface structures(LIPSS) have several applications in surface structuring and functionalization. Three major challenges exist in the fabrication of regular and uniform LIPSS: enhancing the periodic energy deposition, reducing the residual heat, and avoiding the deposited debris. Herein, we fabricate an extremely regular low-spatial-frequency LIPSS(LSFL) on a silicon surface by a temporally shaped femtosecond laser. Based on a 4 f configuration zero-dispersion pulse shaping system, a Fourier transform limit(FTL) pulse is shaped into a pulse train with varying intervals in the range of 0.25–16.2 ps using periodic π-phase step modulation. Under the irradiation of the shaped pulse with an interval of 16.2 ps, extremely regular LSFLs are efficiently fabricated on silicon. The scan velocity for fabricating regular LSFL is 2.3 times faster, while the LSFL depth is 2 times deeper, and the diffraction efficiency is 3 times higher than those of LSFL using the FTL pulse.The formation mechanisms of regular LSFL have been studied experimentally and theoretically. 5High-performance pulse-width modulation AC/DC controller using novel under voltage lockout circuit according to Energy StarⅥstandard显示文摘This paper proposes a high-performance pulse-width modulation(PWM) AC/DC controller, which can drive a high-voltage(HV) 650-V power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect Transistor(MOSFET) in typical applications of adapters in portable electronic devices. In order to reduce the standby power consumption and improve the response speed in the start-up state, an improved under voltage lockout(UVLO) circuit without a voltage reference source or comparator is adopted. The AC/DC controller is fabricated using a 40-V 0.8-μm onepoly two-metal(1P2M) CMOS process, and it only occupies 1410 × 730 μm^2. A 12 V/2 A flyback topology for quick-charge application is illustrated as the test circuit, which is currently one of the most advanced power adapters in use. Test values show that the turn-on and the turn-off threshold voltages are 19.318 and 8.01 V, respectively. A high hysteresis voltage of 11.308 V causes the value of the power-charging capacitor to decrease to as low as 1 μF to reduce production cost. In addition, the start-up current of 2.3 μA is extremely small, and is attributed to a reduction in the system's standby power consumption. The final test results of the overall system are proven to meet the Energy Star Ⅵ standard. 7Air-Steam Etched Construction of Hierarchically Porous Metal-Organic Frameworks显示文摘The introduction of mesoporosity into the microporous metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)is expected to expand their applications.Herein,we report a green and facile method to obtain hierarchically porous MOF structures by using an air-steam etching process.By virtue of the protonation reaction between the imidazole moiety and water vapor,the protonated imidazole related linkers leave the framework,resulting in the formation of mesopores in the zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs),as exemplified by ZIF-8.Given the mild etching process,the materials'structural integrity and crystallinity are well maintained.Accordingly,the hierarchical porous ZIF-8 exhibited enhanced performance in the dye removal as well as CO_(2) cycloaddition reaction with epichlorohydrin in comparison with microporous ZIF-8,owing to the accelerated mass transfer arising from mesoporous structures.Remarkably,the proposed steam etching approach is generally applicable,which can be readily extended to other ZIFs,such as ZIF-14,ZIF-69,and ZIF-71,thus representing a powerful strategy to construct hierarchically porous MOF materials.Hongliang Huang Yuxiu Sun Xuemeng Jia Wenjuan Xue Chenxu Geng Xin Zhao Donghai Mei Chongli Zhong 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,6:2
8Synergistic effect of the metal-support interaction and interfacial oxygen vacancy for CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol over Ni/In_(2)O_(3) catalyst:A theoretical study显示文摘Indium oxide supported nickel catalyst has been experimentally confirmed to be highly active for CO_(2) hydrogenation towards methanol.In this work,the reaction mechanism for CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol has been investigated on a model Ni/In_(2)O_(3) catalyst,i.e.,Ni_(4)/In_(2)O_(3),via the density functional theory(DFT)study.Three possible reaction pathways,i.e.,the formate pathway,CO hydrogenation and the reverse water-gas-shift(RWGS)pathways,have been examined on this model catalyst.It has been demonstrated that the RWGS pathway is the most theoretically-favored for CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol.The complete RWGS pathway follows CO_(2)+6 H→COOH+5 H→CO+H_(2)O+4 H→HCO+H_(2)O+3 H→H_(2)CO+H_(2)O+2 H→H_(3)CO+H_(2)O+H→H_(3)COH+H_(2) O.Furthermore,it has been also proved that the interfacial oxygen vacancy can serve as the active site for boosting the CO_(2) adsorption and charge transfer between the nickel species and indium oxide,which synergistically promotes the consecutive CO_(2) hydrogenation towards methanol.Chenyang Shen Qianqian Bao Wenjuan Xue Kaihang Sun Zhitao Zhang Xinyu Jia Donghai Mei Chang-jun Liu 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,2:2

16Reprogramming mature terminally differentiated adipocytes to induced pluripotent stem cells显示文摘Mature adipocytes are terminally differentiated somatic cells. Here, we report the successful generation of induced pluripotent stem(i PS) cells from mouse mature adipocytes by forced expression of six transcription factors(Oct4, Sox2, c-Myc, Klf4, Rarc, and Lrh1) with a piggy Bac transposon-based strategy. The resulting i PS cells were pluripotent as evidenced by the fact that they stained positive for alkaline phosphatase, expressed high levels of key pluripotency markers including Oct4, Nanog, and SSEA1,and remained pluripotent on a 2i media. In vitro differentiation of the i PS cells showed that the cell derivatives of all three germ layers could be readily obtained through formation of embryoid bodies. Most importantly, these adipocytederived i PS cells were capable of producing chimera with high frequencies when reintroduced into early-stage embryos and transmitted through the germ line.
