1电催化析氧反应过渡金属磷化物和硫化物催化剂研究进展(英文)显示文摘对化石能源的依赖所造成的环境污染和能源危机在全球引起了广泛的关注.氢能由于其高能量密度、低分子质量以及清洁无污染的优点,被认为是人类根本性解决能源与环境等全球性问题的理想替代能源.电解水是生产高纯度氢的重要方法,是现代清洁能源技术的重要组成部分.水电解由阴极析氢(HER)和阳极析氧(OER)两个半反应构成.对于HER反应,其反应是基于二电子转移过程,反应过程相对容易进行.相比于HER反应,OER反应涉及四电子转移及氧-氧键形成,其反应动力学缓慢,是影响水电解效率的主要原因.因此,为了提高电解水制氢的能量转化效率,发展OER电催化剂成为水电解制氢技术的关键.在过去的十余年间,硫化物、硒化物、磷化物、硼化物等非贵金属基OER电催化剂被大量地研究及报道并取得了长足发展.在这些催化剂中,金属磷化物和硫化物不仅具有成本优势,而且在析氧过电位、耐久性方面正趋接近甚至超越RuO_2和IrO_2等贵金属催化剂,颇具应用潜力.本文总结磷化物和硫化物作为OER电催化剂的研究进展,重点介绍了磷化物和硫化物性能提升策略及其在OER过程中催化反应活性位的变化.本文首先介绍了电解水析氧反应在不同电解质中的反应机理,讨论了析氧反应在动力学和热力学过程的主要障碍.通过对大量文献的归纳,本文分别综述了磷化物和硫化物的化学性质、合成方法和催化性能,介绍了近年来磷化物和硫化物的重要研究进展.通过分析催化剂导电性、质子传输、活性面积、界面化学等因素对催化析氧反应的影响,总结了磷化物和硫化物电催化OER性能提升的策略.由于磷化物和硫化物在OER强氧化条件下,电催化剂表面的成分、物相及结构均会发生显著变化,进而催化反应活性位也会发生相应改变.本文综述了磷化物和硫化物在OER反应过程前后表面组分的变化,探讨了磷化物和硫化物作为OER电催化剂的活性组分,为进一步提高磷化物和硫化物的电催化析氧反应性能提供了崭新的思路.彭立山 Syed Shoaib Ahmad Shah 魏子栋 2018Chinese Journal of Catalysis2018,39,10:20
2NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF AN OSCILLATING FLOW PAST A CIRCULAR CYLINDER IN THE VICINITY OF A PLANE WALL显示文摘Oscillating flow around a circular cylinder in the vicinity of a plane wall was investigated by solving the two-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations with a finite element Galarkin residual method. The effect of the gap G D between the cylinder surface and the wall on the flow behavior was studied. For the case of G D ≤ 0.25, the periodicity in the flow is attributed to both the outer shear layer instability and the oscillating frequency. 3Evaluation of sugar and organic acid composition and their levels in highbush blueberries from two regions of China显示文摘Sweet and sour are the most important taste of blueberries,and they are produced by sugar and acid,respectively.Their contributions to the taste depend not only on the levels of sugar and acid,but also on the types and relative proportions of sugar and acid.Therefore,it is very important to evaluate the composition and levels of sugar and acid in blueberries.Regional differences and variety diversity also affect the sugar and acid characteristics of fruits.Therefore,this study selected two main producing regions in northern China(Weihai and Yingkou)to examine the sugar and acid characteristics of 11 common blueberry cultivars.The indexes measured included soluble sugars,organic acids,soluble solid content and titratable acidity.The results showed that glucose and fructose were the major sugars,and citric acid and quinic acid were the major organic acids.Correlation analysis showed that glucose,fructose,and sucrose were positively correlated with total sugar content;the citric acid content was positively correlated with the titratable acidity and total organic acids.Titratable acidity,glucose,fructose,sucrose,total sugar content,citric acid,shikimic acid and total acid content of the blueberries varied significantly between regions(P<0.05).In general,compared with Weihai blueberries,Yingkou blueberries had higher sugar content and lower acid content.The results of this study may provide useful references for the evaluation of sweet and sour flavors and cultivar selection of blueberries.ZHANG Jia NIE Ji-yun LI Jing ZHANG Hui LI Ye Saqib FAROOQ Syed Asim Shah BACHA WANG Jie 2020Journal of Integrative Agriculture2020,19,9:6
4TiC-Maraging stainless steel composite:microstructure, mechanical and wear properties显示文摘Particulate TiC reinforced 17-4PH and 465 maraging stainless steel matrix composites were processed by con- ventional powder metallurgy (P/M). TiC-maraging stainless steel composites with theoretical density >97% were produced using conventional P/M. The microstructure, and mechanical and wear properties of the composites were evaluated. The microstructure of the composites consisted of (core-rim structure) spherical and semi-spherical TiC particles depending on the wettability of the matrix with TiC particles. In TiC-maraging stainless steel composites, 465 stainless steel binder phase showed good wettability with TiC particles. Some microcracks appeared in the composites, indicating the presence of ten- sile stresses in the composites produced during sintering. The typical properties, hardness, and bend strength were reported for the composites. After heat treatment and aging, an increase in hardness was observed. The increase in hardness was at- tributed to the aging reaction in maraging stainless steel. 5Comparative transcriptome analysis of different nitrogen responses in low-nitrogen sensitive and tolerant maize genotypes显示文摘Although previous researches have greatly increased our general knowledge on plant responses to nitrogen(N)stress,a comprehensive understanding of the different responses in crop genotypes is still needed.This study evaluated 304 maize accessions for low-N tolerance under field conditions,and selected the low-N sensitive Ye478 and low-N tolerant Qi319 for further investigations.After a 5-day low-N treatment,the typical N-deficient phenotype with yellowing older leaves was observed in Ye478 but not in Qi319.After the 5-day low-N stress,16 RNA libraries from leaf and root of Ye478 and Qi319 were generated.The differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in the root of Qi319 up-regulated by special N deficiency were mainly enriched in energy-related metabolic pathways,including tricarboxylic acid metabolic process and nicotinamide metabolic process.Consistent with yellowing older leaves only observed in Ye478,the special N deficiency-responsive DEGs related to thylakoid,chloroplast,photosynthetic membrane,and chloroplast stroma pathways were repressed by low-N stress in Ye478.A total of 216 transcription factors(TFs),including ZmNLP5,were identified as special N deficiencyresponsive TFs between Qi319 and Ye478,indicating the importance of transcriptional regulation of N stress-responsive pathway in different tolerance to low-N stress between crop genotypes.In addition,15 miRNAs were identified as DEGs between Qi319 and Ye478.Taken together,this study contributes to the understanding of the genetic variations and molecular basis of low-N tolerance in maize.DU Qing-guo YANG Juan Shah Syed Muhammad Sadiq YANG Rong-xin YU Jing-juan LI Wen-xue 2021Journal of Integrative Agriculture2021,20,8:5

7Investigating the Effectiveness of Road-related Mitigation Measures under Semi-controlled Conditions:A Case Study on Asian Amphibians显示文摘Road traffic is the main factor causing the decline in amphibian populations worldwide. The proper design of an amphibian tunnel is one of the most efficient measures to mitigate the negative impacts of road traffic on amphibians. However, no study has investigated the effectiveness of amphibian tunnels under semi-controlled conditions in Asian amphibians. Here, we selected two representative amphibian species, the Chinese brown frog, Rana chensinensis, and the Asiatic toad, Bufo gargarizans, which suffer the most severe road mortality along the roads in Northeast China. We placed experimental arrays of culverts of various sizes(diameters of 1.5, 1, and 0.5 m for circular culverts; side lengths of 1.5, 1, and 0.5 m for box culverts), and substrate type(soil, concrete, and metal) to examine the preferences of both species during the migratory season between May and September in 2016 and 2017. The results revealed that the Chinese brown frog preferred mid-and large-sized culverts as well as soil culverts. 8Nitrogen(N) metabolism related enzyme activities,cell uitrastructure and nutrient contents as affected by N level and barley genotype显示文摘Development of the new crop cultivars with high yield under low nitrogen(N) input is a fundamental approach to enhance agricultural sustainability,which is dependent on the exploitation of the elite germplasm.In the present study,four barley genotypes(two Tibetan wild and two cultivated),differing in N use efficiency(NUE),were characterized for their physiological and biochemical responses to different N levels.Higher N levels significantly increased the contents of other essential nutrients(P,K,Ca,Fe,Cu and Mn),and the increase was more obvious for the N-efficient genotypes(ZD9 and XZ149).The observation of ultrastructure showed that chloroplast structure was severely damaged under low nitrogen,and the two high N efficient genotypes were relatively less affected.The activities of the five N metabolism related enzymes,i.e.,nitrate reductase(NR),glutamine synthetase(GS),nitrite reductase(NiR),glutamate synthase(GOGAT) and glutamate dehydrogenase(GDH) all showed the substantial increase with the increased N level in the culture medium.However the increased extent differed among the four genotypes,with the two N efficient genotypes showing more increase in comparison with the other two genotypes with relative N inefficiency(HXRL and XZ56).The current findings showed that a huge difference exists in low N tolerance among barley genotypes,and improvement of some physiological traits(such as enzymes) could be helpful for increasing N utilization efficiency.Jawad Munawar Shah Syed Asad Hussain Bukhari ZENG Jian-bin QUAN Xiao-yan Essa Ali Noor Muhammad ZHANG Guo-ping 2017Journal of Integrative Agriculture2017,16,1:4
9Physicochemical characteristics of various milk samples available in Pakistan显示文摘We report physicochemical characteristics of various kinds of liquid milk commercially available in Pakistan in comparison with those of fresh natural milk from animals. Milk samples were collected from local markets at Peshawar, Pakistan, and analyzed for their physical features, including moisture, total solids, specific gravity, conductivity, viscosity and titratable acidity (lactic acid equivalent), and chemical components and macro-minerals, including total protein, casein, lactose, ash and minerals (Na, K and Mg). These items were compared with the physicochemical characteristics of the fresh natural milk samples from buffalo, cow and goat. The results were also compared with reported nutritional quality of milk from various countries and World Health Organization (WHO) standards. 10Recent advances and emerging trends of rare-earth-ion doped spectral conversion nanomaterials in perovskite solar cells显示文摘Organic-inorganic lead halide based perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted unprecedented research interest over last decade.The high performance,combined with merits of low fabrication costs and ease of synthesis make PSCs promising alternate to state of the art silicon(Si)based solar cells.Howeve r,some inherent shortcomings of PSCs are hindering their market dominance over conventional photovoltaic technologies such as transmission loss of sub-bandgap photons,poor stability and hysteresis effects.Recently,use of rare earth(RE)ions doped nanomaterials in PSCs,has been identified as an effective means to address the aforementioned issues by expanding the range of absorption spectra minimizing the non-absorption loss of solar photons,enhancing light scattering and improving operational stability.This article reviews the recent progress in doping rare-earth(RE)ions in the building blocks of PSCs such as semiconductor electrodes and photoactive perovskite layers,and its use as a separate spectral conversion layer in PSCs.The effect of size,shape,constitution and concentration of RE-nanoparticles on the overall performance and device stability will be analyzed in detail.Moreover,we provide an outlook on the opportunities this newly developed field offers and the critical challenges faced in rationally and effectively using RE-ion-doped nanomaterials in PSCs for better operational stability and enhanced performance.Syed Afaq Ali Shah Muhammad Hassan Sayyad Jinghua Sun Zhongyi Guo 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,11:4
11Review:Botnet detection techniques: review, future trends, and issue显示文摘In recent years, the Internet has enabled access to widespread remote services in the distributed computing environment; however, integrity of data transmission in the distributed computing platform is hindered by a number of security issues. For instance, the botnet phenomenon is a prominent threat to Internet security, including the threat of malicious codes. The botnet phenomenon supports a wide range of criminal activities, including distributed denial of service(DDoS) attacks, click fraud, phishing, malware distribution, spam emails, and building machines for illegitimate exchange of information/materials. Therefore, it is imperative to design and develop a robust mechanism for improving the botnet detection, analysis, and removal process. Currently, botnet detection techniques have been reviewed in different ways; however, such studies are limited in scope and lack discussions on the latest botnet detection techniques. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the latest state-of-the-art techniques for botnet detection and figures out the trends of previous and current research. It provides a thematic taxonomy for the classification of botnet detection techniques and highlights the implications and critical aspects by qualitatively analyzing such techniques. 12Construction of S-scheme MnO_(2)@CdS heterojunction with core–shell structure as H_(2)-production photocatalyst显示文摘Artificial photosynthesis is deemed as an efficient protocol for transforming abundant solar energy into valuable fuel. In this paper, the well-defined one-dimensional(1D) core–shell MnO_(2)@CdS hybrids were constructed by employing MnO_(2) nanotubes and CdS nanoparticles as nano-building blocks via a chemical coprecipitation route. The rationally designed core–shell structure provided an intimate heterojunction interface between the CdS shell and MnO_(2) core. All the MnO_(2)@CdS core–shell nanocomposites possess higher H_(2) evolution rate through visible light irradiation contrary to pristine CdS, and the optimal MnO_(2)@CdS hybrid exhibits the utmost H_(2) evolution rate of 3.94 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1), which is2.8-fold higher compared with that of CdS. Appertaining to XPS and Mott-Schottky(M-S) analysis, such enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) generation of MnO_(2)@CdS heterojunction was ascribed to an S-scheme mechanism, which suppressed the charge recombination along with a fast detachment of electron–hole pairs(e^(-)–h^(+)) and significantly improved the severance of carriers, thus improved H_(2) evolution performance. 13Bed planting of wheat(Triticum aestivum L.)improves nitrogen use efficiency and grain yield compared to flat planting显示文摘Conventional flat planting is commonly used for growing wheat in Pakistan and the crop is irrigated by flood irrigation, but it leads to ineffective use of applied nitrogen owing to poor aeration and leaching and volatilization losses. The practice also results in greater crop lodging, lower water use efficiency, and crusting of the soil surface. In contrast, bed planting of wheat not only saves water but improves fertilizer use efficiency and grain yield. Three years of pooled data from the present study showed that wheat planting on beds and nitrogen application at 120 kg ha-1produced 15.06% higher grain yield than flat planting at the same nitrogen rate. Similarly, 25.04%, 15.02%, 14.59%, and 29.83% higher nitrogen uptake, nitrogen use, and agronomic and recovery efficiencies, respectively, were recorded for bed compared to flat planting. Wheat planting on beds with a nitrogen application of80 kg ha-1gave a yield similar to that of flat planting with 120 kg ha-1nitrogen. 14Determination of Trace Amounts of Nickel (Ⅱ) by Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry Coupled with Cloud Point Extraction显示文摘A new method based on the cloud point extraction(CPE) for separation and preconcentration of nickel(Ⅱ) and its subsequent determination by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry(GFAAS) was proposed, 8-hydroxyquinoline and Triton X-100 were used as the ligand and surfactant respectively. Nickel(Ⅱ) can form a hy-drophobic complex with 8-hydroxyquinoline, the complex can be extracted into the small volume surfactant rich phase at the cloud point temperature(CPT) for GFAAS determination. The factors affecting the cloud point extraction, such as pH, ligand concentration, surfactant concentration, and the incubation time were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, a detection limit of 12 ng/L and a relative standard deviation(RSD) of 2.9% were obtained for Ni(Ⅱ) determination. The enrichment factor was found to be 25. 15陆地棉转录因子GhNAC7的克隆及功能分析显示文摘【目的】从陆地棉中克隆GhNAC7,分析其结构和功能,研究其在棉花不同组织中以及叶片不同发育时期的表达量。并转入拟南芥进一步探究其在棉花叶片衰老过程中的作用。【方法】利用中国农业科学院棉花研究所棉花生物学国家重点实验室建立的棉花衰老叶片cDNA文库中的序列,获得1个含有NAM结构域的EST,使用Oligo6.71设计引物,重新在陆地棉叶片cDNA中进行克隆。使用Gene Structure Display Server软件分析GhNAC7结构,使用在线工具Plant CARE分析启动子序列,利用在线工具Gen Scan进行氨基酸序列翻译。同时,利用拟南芥基因组数据库(TAIR)进行序列比对,选取得分较高的NAC家族基因,使用MEGA 6.06软件和Gene Doc软件进行进化树分析和氨基酸比对。以XbaⅠ和SacⅠ为酶切位点构建35S::GhNAC7-GFP融合表达载体,分析其在洋葱表皮细胞中的瞬时表达,进行亚细胞定位。利用实时荧光定量PCR技术分析GhNAC7在棉花不同组织、不同叶片发育时期以及在200μmol·L^(-1) ABA调控下的表达量。通过构建p GhNAC7-GUS融合表达载体并转拟南芥,分析其启动子特异性。以Eco RⅠ和SalⅠ为酶切位点,利用p BI101和p BI121载体,分别构建融合表达载体并转拟南芥进行过表达分析。【结果】从陆地棉中成功克隆GhNAC7,其全长为1 064 bp,包含3个外显子,2个内含子。生物信息学分析结果表明,GhNAC7开放阅读框为834 bp,可编码277个氨基酸,其蛋白质分子量为31.35 k D,等电点为9.22。结构域分析表明其属于NAC转录因子的NAM亚家族,进化树分析显示GhNAC7与ANAC041、ANAC083同源性最高,其中,GhNAC7与ANAC083结构域位置均为17—58 aa。其启动子核心元件包含一系列与衰老、激素、胁迫相关的顺式作用元件。亚细胞定位表明其蛋白为核蛋白。组织特异性表明GhNAC7在真叶、子叶、花、花药和衰老真叶中均明显表达,其中在衰老的真叶中表达量最高。启动子特异性分析表明,其GUS活性在衰老的叶片中最强。在拟南芥中过表达该基因,转基因植株比野生型表现出明显的衰老症状。荧光定量PCR分析表明,ABA处理后6 h GhNAC7明显上调表达,并在48 h表达量达到最高,这表明ABA可调控GhNAC7表达从而调节棉花叶片衰老。【结论】GhNAC7可以促进棉花叶片衰老并受ABA的调控。郑学伟 SHAH Syed Tariq 范术丽 魏恒玲 庞朝友 李鸿彬 喻树迅 2017中国农业科学2017,50,3:2

18Herding behavior in Ramadan and financial crises: the case of the Pakistani stock market显示文摘This study examines herding behavior in the Pakistani Stock Market under different market conditions,focusing on the Ramadan effect and Crisis period by using data from 2004 to 2014.Two regression models of Christie and Huang(Financ Analysts J 51:31-37,1995)and Chang et al.,(J Bank Finance 24:1651-1679,2000)are used for herding estimations.Results based on daily stock data reveal that there is an absence of herding behavior during rising(up)and falling(down)market as well as during high and low volatility in market.While herding behavior is detected during low trading volume days.Yearly analysis shows that herding existed during 2005,2006 and 2007,while it is not evident during rest of the period.However,herding behavior is not detected during Ramadan.Furthermore,during financial crisis of 2007-08,Pakistani Stock Market exhibits herding behavior due to higher uncertainty and information asymmetry.Imran Yousaf Shoaib Ali Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah 2018Financial Innovation2018,4,1:2
19Optical coherence tomography characteristics of responses to intravitreal bevacizumab in idiopathic choroidal neovascularization显示文摘AIM: To investigate factors associated with responses to intravitreal bevacizumab(IVB) in naive idiopathic choroidal neovascularization(i CNV) by high domain optical coherence tomography(OCT).·METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed clinical data of40 eyes of i CNV patients who received a single or multiple IVB on an as-needed basis(1.25 mg/0.05 m L).One month after the first injection, subretinal fluid(SRF)volume was evaluated and the eyes were divided into 3groups based on responses to IVB. Good, moderate, and poor responses were defined as 61%-99%, 30%-60%,and <30% resolution of SRF on OCT after IVB in i CNV,respectively. OCT findings were analyzed to find factors associated with difference in response levels.Comparisons were made using Wilcoxon's matched-pairs signed-rank test, the Mann-Whitney U test for means with continuous data and Fisher's exact test for categorical data.·RESULTS: The mean number of IVB was 1.28±1.50 and mean follow up time was 3.60 ±1.20 mo. At postoperative1 mo, there were 8(20%) eyes in good response, 20(50%)in moderate response and 12(30%) eyes in poor response group and at last visit there were 28 good responders(70%), 8(20%) moderate responders and 4(10%) poor responders. Statistically significant difference was detected between good responders and non good responders in choroidal neovessels thickness(P =0.029),SRF height(P =0.049) and SRF volume(P =0.031) at post treatment 1mo.· CONCLUSION: OCT is a valuable diagnostic tool.Decrease in choroidal neovessels thickness, SRF height and volume predicts favorable response of i CNV to IVB therapy.Syed Nasir Ali Shah Qian-Yan Kang Xiao-Juan Fan Yue-Ming Sun 2016International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2016,9,2:2
20Metabolic investigations in patients with hepatitis B and C显示文摘AIM:To investigate the similarities and dissimilarities in patients with hepatitis B and hepatitis C,clinically and metabolically. METHODS:Fifty patients with hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus infection were included in this study, along with fifty healthy controls for comparison purposes.Intravenous blood(10 mL)samples from patients and healthy subjects were collected and made to clot before serum was separated and immediately levels of the enzymes,alkaline phosphatase(ALK),creatinine phosphokinase(CPK),lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),serum glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase(sGOT)and serum glutamate pyruvate transaminase(sGPT)were determined by a kit method.For total con-tent of each metal the serum samples were analyzed using atomic absorption spectrophotometry.Levels of cholesterol,triglycerides,urea,creatinine and uric acid were determined using a kit method on Microlab 300. RESULTS:Serum magnesium and copper levels remained unchanged,whereas the concentration of zinc decreased and iron increased significantly in both groups of patients.Total antioxidant activity was significantly decreased in both hepatitis B and C.Among the enzymes analyzed,ALK,s-GPT,LDH and s-GOT were all significantly increased in both patients with hepatitis B and C whereas CPK was significantly decreased in patients with hepatitis B and remained unchanged in patients with hepatitis C.
