| 2 | Conductive Polyaniline/Cellulose/Graphite Composite Films with High Thermal Stability and Antibacterial Activity显示文摘Functional composite films were successfully prepared from cellulose, graphite(GP), and polyaniline(PANI) using a combination of physical and chemical processes. Cellulosewasdissolved in N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide monohydrate(NMMO) and regenerated in water to form the matrix. GP was dispersed in the NMMO solvent prior to the dissolution of the cellulose, and PANI was deposited on the surfaces of the cellulose/GP films by in situ chemical polymerization. The structures of the PANI/cellusose/GP composite films were investigated using X-ray diffraction analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and SEM/energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The mechanical strengths, thermal stabilities, conductivities, and antibacterial activities of the films were studied in detail. The results showed that GP formed a multilayered structure in the cellulose matrix and that the PANI nanoparticles were tightly wrapped on the film surface. The film thickness increased from 40 mm to 100 mm after the addition of GP and PANI. The tensile strength of the composite films was 80~107 MPa, with the elongation at break being 3%~10%. The final residual weight of the composite films was as high as 65%, and the conductivity of the composite films reached 14.36 S/m. The cellulose matrix ensured that the films were flexible and exhibited desirable mechanical properties, while the GP filler significantly improved the thermal stability of the films. The PANI coating acted as a protective layer during burning and provided good electrical conductivity and antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli; both of these characteristics were slightly enhanced by the incorporation of GP. | 3 | Nano-Cu2O-loaded Paper: Green Preparation and High Visible Light Photocatalytic Performance for Formaldehyde Removal显示文摘The removal of formaldehyde (HCHO) from indoor air is of great importance to reduce health risks and improve indoor air quality. In this study, nano-Cu2O-loaded paper with superior photocatalytic activity under visible light for the removal of HCHO was fabricated through a green, simple, and fast in situ synthesis method. The optimum preparation conditions for nano-Cu2O-loaded paper were as follows: 2 g (oven-dry basis) cellulose fibers, CuSO4 dosage 8 g, NaOH dosage 1.6 g, temperature 80℃, 60 min for Cu2+ absorption, and 60 min for reaction. Under the optimum conditions, the Cu2O deposition ratio approached 30% and the nano-Cu2O-loaded paper exhibited a catalytic efficiency of approximately 97% for HCHO removal. The photocatalytic capacity of nano-Cu2O-loaded paper for HCHO removal had a positive correlation with the deposition ratio of nano Cu2O particles. Excellent antibacterial property of nano- Cu2O-loaded paper against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli was also confirmed. | 4 | New Insights into the Late Triassic Nadigangri Formation of Northern Qiangtang, Tibet, China: Constraints from U-Pb Ages and Hf Isotopes of Detrital and Magmatic Zircons显示文摘We report here U-Pb age and in situ Hf isotopic results for detrital and magmatic zircons from one conglomerate and four tuffite samples from the Late Triassic Nadigangri Formation across the North Qiangtang depression, Tibet. Coupled with previously published data in the region, this paper proposes new insights into the geochronological framework for the Nadigangri Formation. The deposition ages of tuffite from top to bottom in the Woruo Mountain, Quem Co and Dongqu River, are 203 Ma, 226 Ma, 221.5 Ma and 221.1 Ma, respectively. The detrital zircons yield a younger cluster of ages of 201.5–225 Ma from the conglomerate of the Quem Co Formation. The Late Triassic Nadigangri Formation defines a temporal range approximately between 201 and 225 Ma(Norian-Rhaetian), including three predominant groups of 220–225 Ma, 210–217 Ma and 201–205 Ma, which correspond with the three main rifting episodes of initial rifting, further rifting and final rifting. Positive εHf(t) value and low model ages in younger detrital zircons suggests a juvenile character. However, the Hf isotopes of magmatic zircons display the presence of reworked ancient crust with 1.1–1.8 Ga. | 5 | Transcriptome analysis provides insights into the regulation of metabolic processes during postharvest cold storage of loquat(Eriobotrya japonica)fruit显示文摘Loquat(Eriobotrya japonica)fruit accumulates lignin during postharvest storage under chilling conditions(0℃),while low-temperature conditioning(LTC;5℃for 6 days followed by transfer to 0℃)or heat treatment(HT;40℃for 4 h followed by transfer to 0℃)can alleviate lignification.Here we compared transcriptome profiles of loquat fruit samples under LTC or HT to those stored at 0℃at five time points from day 1 to day 8 after treatment.High-throughput transcriptome sequences were de novo assembled into 53,319 unique transcripts with an N50 length of 1306 bp.A total of 2235 differentially expressed genes were identified in LTC,and 1020 were identified in HT compared to 0℃.Key genes in the lignin biosynthetic pathway,including EjPAL2,EjCAD1,EjCAD3,4CL,COMT,and HCT,were responsive to LTC or HT treatment,but they showed different expression patterns during the treatments,indicating that different structural genes could regulate lignification at different treatment stages.Coexpression network analysis showed that these candidate biosynthetic genes were associated with a number of transcription factors,including those belonging to the AP2,MYB,and NAC families.Gene ontology(GO)enrichment analysis of differentially expressed genes indicated that biological processes such as stress responses,cell wall and lignin metabolism,hormone metabolism,and metal ion transport were significantly affected under LTC or HT treatment when compared to 0℃.Our analyses provide insights into transcriptome responses to postharvest treatments in loquat fruit. | Wenli Liu Jing Zhang Chen Jiao Xueren Yin Zhangjun Fei Qingbiao Wu Kunsong Chen | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 3 |
| 6 | Composition and Distributions of Nitrogen and Phosphorus and Assessment of Eutrophication Status in the Maowei Sea显示文摘Maowei Sea(MWS) is the largest oyster maricuture bay in Southwest China. Surface water from 12 sampling sites were collected during the dry season to study the composition and distribution of different forms of nitrogen(N) and phosphorus(P) beginning from the inner bay to the bay mouth in the MWS. An improved multi-parameter eutrophication index was developed and applied for the evaluation of the water quality in the MWS. Dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN), dissolved organic nitrogen(DON), and particulate nitrogen(PN) averagely accounted for 11.28%, 65.32%, and 23.39% of total N(TN) pool, dissolved inorganic phosphorus(DIP), dissolved organic phosphorus(DOP), and particulate phosphorus(PP) averagely accounted for 54.58%, 30.31%, and 15.12% of total P(TP) pool, respectively. DON and DIP were respectively the dominant forms of N and P in surface water of the MWS, during the study period. Concentration trends of DIN, DIP, DOP, PN, dissolved silicate(DSi), total organic carbon(TOC), chemical oxygen demand(COD) decreased from the inner bay to the bay mouth, suggesting that the MWS may be largely influenced by land-based inputs. Based on nutrient contents and stoichiometry, it likely that phytoplankton growth in the MWS is strongly limited by DIP during the dry season. Results from the improved eutrophication index revealed that the water quality in the MWS is in a state of moderate to poor eutrophication(average EI = 0.953). The eutrophication state decreased from the inner bay to the bay mouth.
