1Effects of sphere size on the microstructure and mechanical properties of ductile iron–steel hollow sphere syntactic foams显示文摘The effects of sphere size on the microstructural and mechanical properties of ductile iron–steel hollow sphere(DI–SHS) syntactic foams were investigated in this study. The SHSs were manufactured by fluidized-bed coating via the Fe-based commercial powder–binder suspension onto expanded polystyrene spheres(EPSs). Afterwards, the DI–SHS syntactic foams were produced via a sand-mold casting process. The microstructures of specimens were investigated by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS). The microscopic evaluations of specimens reveal distinct regions composed of the DI matrix, SHS shells, and compatible interface. As a result, the microstructures and graphite morphologies of the DI matrix depend on sphere size. When the sphere size decreases, the area fractions of cementite and graphite phases are observed to increase and decrease, respectively. Compression tests were subsequently conducted at ambient temperature on the DI–SHS syntactic foams. The results reveal that the compression behavior of the syntactic foams is enhanced with increasing sphere size. 3Effect of Stimulating the BL67 Point on Fetal Correction from Breech to Cephalic Presentation and Natural Delivery after the 36 Weeks of Pregnancy: A Randomized Clinical Trial显示文摘Objective:Various techniques are proposed for changing fetal presentation.We aimed to assess the effect of BL67 point stimulation on correcting breech presentation and natural delivery in women at 36-38 gestational weeks.Methods:A parallel single blinded randomized clinical trial was conducted on 72 eligible pregnant women with breech presentation at the 36 weeks of pregnancy.The subjects were divided into two groups-intervention(n=36)and control groups(n=36)by block randomization method.The intervention group stimulated the BL67 point by self-administration for 20 min once a day for 2 weeks.Finally,the appearance of cephalic presentation and rate of vaginal delivery was compared between the groups(n1=n2=32)using the Chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression.Results:The correction of breech to cephalic presentation occurred in 53.1% of patients in the intervention group.The adjusted relative risk(RR)for fetal correction from breech to cephalic was 1.80(RR=1.80,95%confidence interval[CI],1.13-5.17).It was shown that the stimulation of the BL67 point increased the correction of breech to cephalic presentation.In addition,the rate of vaginal delivery increased by>4-fold(RR=4.16,95%CI,2.54-6.82)by correction to cephalic presentation.Moreover,65.6%of mothers in intervention group and 90.6%in the control group underwent cesarean section.Conclusions:The stimulation of the BL67 point is a safe,inexpensive,and effective method that can be self-administered at home for fetal correction from breech to cephalic presentation in women with breech presentations during 36-38 gestational weeks.This promotes uncomplicated natural childbirth.Khatereh Sourani Abolfazl Mohammadbeigi Nasim Khademi Azadeh Asgarian Imaneh Khaki Zohreh Ahmadi 2020Reproductive and Developmental Medicine2020,4,2:3
4Anti-oxidative role of quercetin derived from Allium cepa on aldehyde oxidase(OX-LDL)and hepatocytes apoptosis in streptozotocininduced diabetic rat显示文摘Objective:To study the role of Quercetin in streptozotocin-induced diabetes in rals.Methods:Wistar male rat(n=40) were allocated into three groups,control group(n=10) and Quercetin(QR) group received 15 mg/kg(IP) QR.(n=10),and diabetic group that received 55 mg/kg(IP)streptozotocin(STZ)(n=20) which was subdivided to two groups of 10;STZ group and treatment group.Treatment group received 55mg/kg(IP) STZ plus 15 nig/kg QR,daily lor 4 weeks,respectively:however,the control group just received an equal volume of distilled water dailv(IP).Diabetes was induced by a single(IP) injection of streptozotocin(55 mg/kg).Animal-were kept in standard condition.Twenty-eight days after inducing diabetic,5 mL blood were collected for TAC,MPA and Ox-LDL levels and liver tissues of rat in whole groups were removed then prepared for apoptosis analysis by Tunel method.Results:Apoptotic cells significantly decreased in group that has received 15 mg/kg(IP) Quercetin(P<0.05) in comparison to experimental groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:Since in our study 15 nig/kg(IP) Quercetin have significantly Preventive ellecl on liver cells damages by reducing number of apoptotic cells in Liver,so it seems that using it can be effective for treatment in diabetic rat.Mina Bakhshaeshi Arash Khaki Fatemeh Fathiazad Amir Afshin Khaki Elham Ghadamkheir 2012Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2012,2,7:2
5A Fault Tolerant Control Scheme Using the Feasible Constrained Control Allocation Strategy显示文摘This paper investigates the necessity of feasibility considerations in a fault tolerant control system using the constrained control allocation methodology where both static and dynamic actuator constraints are considered. In the proposed feasible control allocation scheme, the constrained model predictive control(MPC) is employed as the main controller. This considers the admissible region of the control allocation problem as its constraints. Using the feasibility notion in the control allocation problem provides the main controller with information regarding the actuator′s status, which leads to closed loop system performance improvement. Several simulation examples under normal and faulty conditions are employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The main results clearly indicate that closed loop performance and stability characteristics can be significantly degraded by neglecting the actuator constraints in the main controller. 6Improvement of Grain Size and Dome Height of Microalloyed Steels Using Taguchi Method Based on Grey Relational Grade in Controlled Rolling显示文摘An efficient approach was introduced for improving the condition of major controlled rolling process parameters of roughing,finishing and coiling temperatures and optimizing these parameters to obtain minimum grain size and maximum dome height simultaneously.Taguchi method combined with grey relational analysis was applied to achieve optimum grain size and dome height during controlled rolling process.For this purpose,four levels for the above temperatures were chosen and sixteen experiments were conducted based on orthogonal array of Taguchi method.Based on Taguchi approach,signal-to-noise(S/N)ratios were calculated and used in order to obtain the optimum levels for every input parameter.Analysis of variance revealed that finishing and coiling temperatures have the maximum effect on the grain size and dome height of microalloyed steels.The confirmation tests with the optimal levels of parameters indicated that the grain size and dome height of controlled rolled microalloyed steels can be improved effectively through this approach.Mohsen Ayaz Daavood Mirahmadi Khaki Nasrollah Bani Mostafa Arab 2013Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2013,20,12:2
7Mechanochemical leaching of chalcopyrite concentrate by sulfuric acid显示文摘This study aimed to introduce a new cost-effective methodology for increasing the leaching efficiency of chalcopyrite concentrates at ambient temperature and pressure. Mechanical activation was employed during the leaching(mechanochemical leaching) of chalcopyrite concentrates in a sulfuric acid medium at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. High energy ball milling process was used during the leaching to provide the mechanochemical leaching condition, and atomic absorption spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry were used to determine the leaching behavior of chalcopyrite. Moreover, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used to characterize the chalcopyrite powder before and after leaching. The results demonstrated that mechanochemical leaching was effective; the extraction of copper increased significantly and continuously. Although the leaching efficiency of chalcopyrite was very low at ambient temperature, the percentages of copper dissolved in the presence of hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) and ferric sulfate(Fe_2(SO_4)_3) after 20 h of mechanochemical leaching reached 28% and 33%, respectively.
