1On-line chatter detection using servo motor current signal in turning显示文摘Chatter often poses limiting factors on the achievable productivity and is very harmful to machining processes. In order to avoid effectively the harm of cutting chatter,a method of cutting state monitoring based on feed motor current signal is proposed for chatter identification before it has been fully developed. A new data analysis technique,the empirical mode decomposition(EMD),is used to decompose motor current signal into many intrinsic mode functions(IMF) . Some IMF's energy and kurtosis regularly change during the development of the chatter. These IMFs can reflect subtle mutations in current signal. Therefore,the energy index and kurtosis index are used for chatter detection based on those IMFs. Acceleration signal of tool as reference is used to compare with the results from current signal. A support vector machine(SVM) is designed for pattern classification based on the feature vector constituted by energy index and kurtosis index. The intelligent chatter detection system composed of the feature extraction and the SVM has an accuracy rate of above 95% for the identification of cutting state after being trained by experimental data. 2铣削过程颤振稳定性分析的研究进展显示文摘综述铣削过程颤振稳定性分析的研究概况和进展。颤振建模和稳定性分析是该方法两个关键环节。依据颤振形成的物理条件,将其分为摩擦型颤振、振型耦合型颤振和再生型颤振。从切削过程的非线性和切削系统的非线性两方面,重点介绍再生型颤振的非线性建模的研究成果。稳定性分析方法根据对颤振模型的求解方法,分为频域法、离散法及数值法,概括了各个方法的特点、效果及适用工况。最后介绍了近来兴起的微细铣削研究领域中颤振稳定性分析的研究成果。由于其尺度效应,微细铣削加工具有独特的加工机理和特点,颤振建模中需考虑的因素与传统铣削多有不同,但稳定性分析方法仍大多沿用传统铣削中的方法。卢晓红 王凤晨 王华 王鑫鑫 司立坤 2016振动与冲击2016,35,1:14

4预测铣削稳定性的隐式Adams方法显示文摘针对铣削加工过程中产生的振动现象,提出了一种隐式Adams方法(Implicit Adams method,IAM)来预测铣削加工过程的稳定性。考虑再生颤振的铣削加工动力学方程可以表示为时滞线性微分方程,将刀齿周期可分为自由振动阶段和强迫振动阶段,对强迫振动阶段进行离散,运用IAM方法构建状态传递矩阵,利用Floquet理论,判定系统的稳定性,获得系统的稳定性叶瓣图。Matlab软件仿真结果表明,IAM方法是预测铣削稳定性的一种有效方法。随着离散数的增加,IAM方法的收敛速度要快于一阶半离散法(First-order semi-discretization method,1st-SDM)和二阶全离散法(Second-order full-discretization method,2nd-FDM),离散数较少的IAM方法能达到离散数较多的1st-SDM方法和2nd-FDM方法的局部离散误差。此外,在单自由度和双自由度动力学模型下,三种方法的稳定性叶瓣图显示,IAM方法预测铣削稳定性的预测精度均好于1st-SDM方法和2nd-FDM方法,计算效率远远高于1st-SDM方法,稍高于2nd-FDM方法。切削试验和仿真结果表明,IAM方法的预测精度和可靠度均好于1st-SDM方法和2nd-FDM方法。智红英 闫献国 杜娟 曹启超 张唐圣 2018机械工程学报2018,54,23:8
5Kinematics constrained five-axis tool path planning for high material removal rate显示文摘Traditional five-axis tool path planning methods mostly focus on differential geometric characteristics between the cutter and the workpiece surface to increase the material removal rate(i.e.,by minimizing path length,improving curvature matching,maximizing local cutting width,etc.) . However,material removal rate is not only related to geometric conditions such as the local cutting width,but also constrained by feeding speed as well as the motion capacity of the five-axis machine. This research integrates machine tool kinematics and cutter-workpiece contact kinematics to present a general kinematical model for five-axis machining process. Major steps of the proposed method include:(1) to establish the forward kinematical relationship between the motion of the machine tool axes and the cutter contact point;(2) to establish a tool path optimization model for high material removal rate based on both differential geometrical property and the contact kinematics between the cutter and workpiece;(3) to convert cutter orientation and cutting direction optimization problem into a concave quadratic planning(QP) model. Tool path will finally be generated from the underlying optimal cutting direction field. 6A generalized Markov chain model based on generalized interval probability显示文摘In the traditional Markov chain model (MCM), aleatory uncertainty because of inherent randomness and epistemic uncertainty due to the lack of knowledge are not differentiated. Generalized interval probability provides a concise representation for the two kinds of uncertainties simultaneously. In this paper, a generalized Markov chain model (GMCM), based on the generalized interval probability theory, is proposed to improve the reliability of prediction. In the GMCM, aleatory uncertainty is represented as probability; interval is used to capture epistemic uncertainty. A case study for predicting the average dynamic compliance in machining processes is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed GMCM. 7Fault feature enhancement of gearbox in combined machining center by using adaptive cascade stochastic resonance显示文摘The difficulty to select the best system parameters restricts the engineering application of stochastic resonance(SR) . An adaptive cascade stochastic resonance(ACSR) is proposed in the present study. The proposed method introduces correlation theory into SR,and uses correlation coefficient of the input signals and noise as a weight to construct the weighted signal-to-noise ratio(WSNR) index. The influence of high frequency noise is alleviated and the signal-to-noise ratio index used in traditional SR is improved accordingly. The ACSR with WSNR can obtain optimal parameters adaptively. And it is not necessary to predict the exact frequency of the target signal. In addition,through the secondary utilization of noise,ACSR makes the signal output waveform smoother and the fluctuation period more obvious. 9A model for nanogrinding based on direct evidence of ground chips of silicon wafers显示文摘Nanometer chips were directly fabricated using face nanogrinding carried out by ultrafine diamond grits at room temperature. Direct evidence for ground nanometer chips is cuboid, and the average ratio of width to thickness is 1.49. Chips of 9.0 nm in thickness, 13.3 nm in width, and 16.0 in diagonal were achieved and confirmed using transmission electron microscopy. Based on the nanometer chips observed, a model was proposed according to the mass conservation and fundamental mechanism of face grinding. The surface roughness and thickness of damaged layers measured experimentally are in good agreement with the prediction of the developed model. 10A synthetic criterion for early recognition of cutting chatter显示文摘Cutting chatter is a violent self-excited vibration between a tool and a workpiece.Its negative effects mainly include poor surface quality,inferior dimensional accuracy,disproportionate tool wear or tool breakage,and excessive noise.Therefore,early recognition and online suppression of chatter vibration are necessary.This paper proposes a novel synthetic criterion(SC)for early chatter recognition.The proposed SC integrates standard deviation(STD)and one-step autocorrelation function(OSAF).Moreover,this paper revised the fast algorithm of OSAF.We can quantitatively divide a chatter vibration signal into three stages,which are stable stage,transition stage and chatter stage according to the SC.Compared with STD,the SC can improve the reliability of chatter recognition and the threshold of SC is not sensitive to variable cutting conditions.This paper presents an original algorithm of SC and its fast algorithm in detail.The fast algorithm of SC in this paper improves the computation efficiency compared with the original algorithm of SC.To validate the effectiveness of the proposed SC,a series of milling experiments were conducted under different cutting conditions.In these experiments,the vibration signals were acquired by two accelerometers mounted on the spindle house.The experimental results showed that the proposed SC could effectively recognize chatter vibration at an early stage of chatter vibration,which saved valuable time for online chatter suppression.JIA GuangFei WU Bo HU YouMin XIE FengYun LIU Ao 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,11:3
