| 1 | Two adaptive detectors for range-spread targets in non-Gaussian clutter显示文摘This paper addresses adaptive detection of range-spread target in spherically invariant random vector clutter. Based on the nonadaptive detectors of NSDD-GLRT and SDD-GLRT, two adaptive detectors named ANSDD-GLRT and ASDD-GLRT are devised by replacing the unknown normalized clutter covariance matrix with the sample covariance matrix based on the secondary data. The formulas of detection probability and false alarm probability are deduced. Moreover, the constant false alarm rate properties of both adaptive detectors are assessed and the inffuence of mismatched steering vector on detection probability is analyzed. The experimental results show that the adaptive detectors have an acceptable loss with respect to the nonadaptive counterparts. Furthermore, the ANSDD-GLRT converges much faster than the ASDD-GLRT, however, the latter rejects the misaligned signals more effectively. Both detectors perform well for the uniformly-distributedenergy target, but degenerate for the fluctuating targets. | 3 | Multichannel radar adaptive signal detection in interference and structure nonhomogeneity显示文摘In this paper, we consider the problem of multichannel radar signal detection in interference and structure nonhomogeneity. The interference is often caused by electromagnetic countermeasure(ECM) systems or industrial activity, while the nonhomogeneity usually arises because of rapid variations in terrain or radar antenna structure. We propose three adaptive detectors according to three common criteria of detector design, namely, the generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT), Rao test, and Wald test. Extensive performance comparisons are conducted under different scenarios. It is shown that when the nonhomogeneity is severe, the detector devised according to the GLRT achieves the best detection performance. | 4 | Adaptive detectors in the Krylov subspace显示文摘The validity of the application of the Krylov subspace techniques in adaptive filtering and detection is investigated. A new verification of the equivalence of two well-known methods in the Krylov subspace, namely the multistage Wiener filters(MWF) and the auxiliary-vector filtering(AVF), is given in this paper. The MWF and AVF are incorporated into two well-known detectors, namely, the adaptive matched filter(AMF) and Kelly's generalized likelihood ratio test(GLRT) including their diagonally loaded versions, which form new detectors.Compared to the conventional AMF, GLRT, and their diagonally loaded versions as well as the reduced-rank AMF and GLRT, the probabilities of detection(PDs) of the new detectors are improved especially when the sample support is low. More importantly, the new detectors are robust of the rank selection of the clutter subspace compared to the reduced-rank AMF and GLRT. | 8 | Adaptive detector design of MIMO radar with unknown covariance matrix显示文摘The problem of detecting signal with multiple input mul-tiple output (MIMO) radar in correlated Gaussian clutter dominated scenario with unknown covariance matrix is dealt with. The gen-eral MIMO model, with widely separated sub-arrays and co-located antennas at each sub-array, is adopted. Firstly, the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) with known covariance matrix is ob-tained, and then the Rao and Wald detectors are devised, which have proved that the Rao and Wald test coincide with GLRT detec-tor. To make the detectors fully adaptive, the secondary data with signal-free will be collected to estimate the covariance. The per-formance of the proposed detector is analyzed, however, it is just ancillary. A thorough performance assessment by several numer-ical examples is also given, which has considered the sense with co-located antennas configure of transmitters and receivers array. | 12 | Non-reconstruction compressive detector for wideband spectrum sensing based on GLRT显示文摘Spectrum sensing is an essential ability to detect spectral holes in cognitive radio( CR) networks. The critical challenge to spectrum sensing in the wideband frequency range is how to sense quickly and accurately. Compressive sensing( CS) theory can be employed to detect signals from a small set of non-adaptive,linear measurements without fully recovering the signal. However,the existing compressive detectors can only detect some known deterministic signals and it is not suitable for the time-varying amplitude signal,such as spectrum sensing signals in CR networks. First,a model of signal detect is proposed by utilizing compressive sampling without signal recovery,and then the generalized likelihood ratio test( GLRT) detection algorithm of the time-varying amplitude signal is derived in detail. Finally, the theoretical detection performance bound and the computation complexity are analyzed. The comparison between the theory and simulation results of signal detection performance over Rayleigh and Rician channel demonstrates the validity of the performance bound.
