| 2 | Study on Properties of LSGM Electrolyte Made by Tape Casting Method and Applications in SOFC显示文摘Solid oxide fuel cell is attracting more attention in recent years for its lower pollution emission and high energy convert efficiency. La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O3-δ is a new kind of electrolyte for intermediate temperature SOFC. In this paper, La0.9Sr0.1Ga0.8Mg0.2O3-δ (LSGM) was prepared by solid state reaction method and formed by tape casting process to make a planar electrolyte. The appropriate amount of the dispersive was obtained by viscosity test. The densities of sintered samples increase with the increasing sintering temperature. It was found that the relative density of electrolyte can approach the value of 95% by the isostatic pressing treatment of the green tape. The average thermal expansion coefficient of the LSGM is 11.4×10-6/℃ at temperature range (200~1200 ℃). | 3 | Influence of processing on microstructure and electrical characteristics of multilayer varistors显示文摘The paper reports on the influence of processing on microstructure and electrical properties of multilayer varistors based on zinc oxide doped with Bi2O3,Sb2O3,Co2O3,MnO,Cr2O3,B2O3,and SiO2.0.5–1 wt%of AlF3–CaB4O7 was used as a new effective sintering aid.The behavior of green laminates during heating was characterized using differential thermal analysis and a heating microscope.As revealed by XRD,SEM,and EDS methods,the varistor layers are composed of ZnO grains of 1–5μm size,submicrometer spinel and pyrochlore grains situated at the ZnO grain boundaries,and nanometric Bi2O3-rich films surrounding ZnO grains.Complex impedance studies carried out in the frequency range of 0.01 Hz–2 MHz at temperatures changing from –30 to 150℃ imply the formation of semiconducting grains and insulating grain boundaries.Frequency dependence of dielectric permittivity shows a high plateau at lower frequencies,typical for barrier layer capacitance effect.The fabricated multilayer varistors show nonlinear current–voltage characteristics with a high nonlinear coefficient of 26–38.The breakdown voltage was found to decrease within the range of 66–130 V with sintering temperature increasing from 1000 to 1100℃.Good surge current capability of the varistors was confirmed by the tests using 8/20μs pulses. | D.SZWAGIERCZAK J.KULAWIK A.SKWAREK | 2019 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2019,8,3: | 2 |

| 5 | β-delayed proton decays near the proton drip line显示文摘We briefly reviewed the experimental study on a-delayed proton decays near the proton drip line published by our group during the period of 1996―2004, namely the first observation of the a-delayed proton decays of 9 new nuclides in the rare-earth region and the new measurements of a-delayed proton decays of 5 nuclides in the mass ~90 region near the N = Z line with the aid of the “p-?” coincidence in combination with a He-jet tape transport system. In the meantime some important experimental technique details were supplemented. The experimental results, including the half -lives, spins, parities, deformations and production reaction cross sections for the 14 nuclei were summarized and compared with the current nuclear-model predictions, and then the following points were represented. (1) The experimental half-lives for 85Mo and 92Rh as well as the predicted “waiting point” nuclei 89Ru and 93Pd are 5―10 times longer than the theoretical predictions given by M?ller et al. using a macroscopic-microscopic model. It considerably influences the predictions of the abundances of the nuclides produced in the rp-process. (2) The current-model predictions are not consistent with the experimental assignments of the spins and parities for the proton drip-line nuclei 142Ho and 128Pm. However, the nuclear potential energy surface (PES) calculated by using a Woods- Saxon-Strutinsky method reproduced the experimental results. | 6 | Effect of cooling rate on evolution of superconducting phases during decomposition and recrystallization of (Bi,Pb)-2223 core in Ag-sheathed tape显示文摘The reformation of (Bi,Pb)-2223 from the liquid or melt is very important for a melting process of (Bi,Pb)-2223 tape. By combination of quenching experiment with X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, the effect of cooling rate on the evolution of three superconducting phases in the (Bi,Pb)-2223 core of Ag-sheathed tape was investigated. The results show that (Bi,Pb)-2223 reformation from the melt seems to experience different routes during slowly cooling at different rates. One is that (Bi,Pb)-2223 phase reformed directly from the melt, and no Bi-2212 participate in this process. The other is that (Bi,Pb)-2223 is converted from the intermediate product, Bi-2212, which formed from the melt during the first cooling stage. | 7 | Electrical properties of La_2Mo_(1.98)Nb_(0.02)O_(8.99) oxide ionic conductors prepared by tape casting显示文摘La_2Mo_(2-x)Nb_xO_(9-δ) thick films have been successfully prepared by using a tape casting technique. Partial stabilization of the high temperature cubic phase is revealed in Nb doped La_2Mo_2O_9(LMO) films. The sintering temperature is decreased to 925 ℃ as compared with that of 1150 ℃ in bulk ceramics. The grain exhibits an oxide ionic conductivity of 0.014 S cm^(-1) at 603 ℃ for La_2Mo_(1.98) Nb_(0.02)O_(8.99), which is 39% higher than pure LMO. | 9 | Electrochemical property of multi-layer anode supported solid oxide fuel cell fabricated through sequential tape-casting and co-firing显示文摘In this work, a multi-layer anode supported solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC) is designed and successfully prepared through sequential tape casting and co-firing. The single cell is consisted of NiO-3 YSZ(3 YSZ: 3 mol.% yttria doped zirconia) anode support, NiO-8 YSZ(8 YSZ: 8 mol.% yttria stabilized zirconia) anode functional layer, dense 8 YSZ electrolyte layer, and porous 3 YSZ cathode scaffold layer with infiltrated La_(0.6)Sr_(0.4)Co_(0.2)Fe_(0.8)O_(3-δ) cathode. The clear interfaces and good contacts between each layer, without element inter-diffusion being observed, suggest that this sequential tape casting and co-firing is a feasible and successful route for anode supported single cell fabrication. This cell exhibits remarkable high open circuit voltage of 1.097 V at 800?C under room temperature humidified hydrogen, with highly dense and gastight electrolyte layer. It provides a power density of 360 mW/cm^2 under operation voltage of0.75 V at 800?C and a stable operation of ~110 h at 750?C under current density of-300 mA/cm^2. | 10 | Preparation and properties of multi-wall carbon nanotube/SiC composites by aqueous tape casting显示文摘MWCNTS/SiC composites were fabricated by aqueous tape casting. High solid content (50 vol%) SiC slurries with sintering additives and multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as reinforcements were prepared using Tetramethylammonium hydroxide as the dispersant. The stability of MWCNTs/SiC slur-ries was studied and characterized in terms of zeta potential and rheology measurements. The relative density of the composite was about 98% after hot-pressing at 1850℃ (at 25 MPa in Ar for 30 min). The hardness of the composites decreased with the increase in MWCNTs content. The flexural strength and the fracture toughness were 742.17 MPa and 4.63 MPa·m1/2, respectively when the MWCNTs content was 0.25 wt%. Further increase in MWCNTs content to 0.50 wt% did not lead to the increase in mechanical properties.
