| 2 | Development and distribution of geohazards triggered by the 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake in China显示文摘As the Wenchuan Earthquake was of high magnitude and shallow seismic focus, it caused great dam- age and serious geohazards. By the field investigation and the interpretation of remote-sensing infor- mation after the earthquake and by using means of GIS technology, the distribution of geohazards triggered by the earthquake are analyzed and the conclusions are as follows: (1) The earthquake geo- hazards showed the feature of zonal distribution along the earthquake fault zone and linear distribution along the rivers; (2) the distribution of earthquake geohazards had a marked hanging wall effect, for the development density of geohazards in the hanging wall of earthquake fault zone was obviously higher than that in the foot wall and the width of strong development zone in the hanging wall was about 10 km; (3) the topographical slope was a main factor which controlled the development of earthquake geo- hazards and a vast majority of hazards were distributed on the slopes of 20° to 50°; (4) the earthquake geohazards had a corresponding relationship with the elevation and micro-landform, for most hazards happened in the river valleys and canyon sections below the elevation of 1500 to 2000 m, particularly in the upper segment of canyon sections (namely, the turning point from the dale to the canyon). Thin ridge, isolated or full-face space mountains were most sensitive to the seismic wave, and had a striking amplifying effect. | 5 | Constructal optimization of a vertical insulating wall based on a complex objective combining heat flow and strength显示文摘For a vertical insulating wall,a product function of heat flow and strength with power weight is introduced as the complex optimization objective to compromise between insulating performance and mechanical performance.Under the global constraints of fixed external dimensions and safety requirements,the constructal optimization of the wall is carried out by taking the complex function maximization as the objective.It is shown that the maximum of the complex-objective function and its corresponding optimal internal structure design under a certain environmental condition can be obtained by allowing the internal structure of the wall to vary(evolve)freely.The validity,effectivity and applicability of the complex function are proved by the results and the power weight parameter in the range from 0.4 to 4 can compromise between the requirements of insulating and strength simultaneously and preferably.The constructal optimization with coequal attention to heat flow and strength and the corresponding results are discussed in detail.The optimal structure design and the corresponding performance analyses under various environmental conditions of application are presented.When the change of environment is greater and the total Rayleigh number is bigger,the insulating wall with large number of cavities should be employed.When the total Rayleigh number is small,the better performance can be obtained by reasonably employing the insulating wall with small number of cavities.The complex function has better selfadaptability,and the results in the recent literature are special cases of this paper. | XIE ZhiHui,CHEN LinGen &SUN FengRui Postgraduate School,Naval University of Engineering,Wuhan 430033,China | 2010 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,8: | 21 |
| 6 | Phase-averaged waveforms of Reynolds stress in wall turbulence during the burst events of coherent structures显示文摘The time sequence signals of instantaneous longitudinal and normal velocity components at different vertical locations in the turbulent boundary layer over a smooth flat plate have been finely measured by constant temperature anemometry of model IFA-300 and X-shaped hot-wire sensor probe in a wind tunnel. The longitudinal and normal velocity components have been decomposed into multi-scales by wavelet transform. The upward eject and downward sweep motions in a burst process of coherent structure have been detected by the maximum energy criterion of identifying burst event in wall turbulence through wavelet analysis. The relationships of phase-averaged waveforms among longitudinal velocity component, normal velocity component and Reynolds stress component have been studied through a correlation function method. | 7 | Numerical stress-deformation analysis of cut-off wall in clay-core rockfill dam on thick overburden显示文摘The cut-off wall in a clay-core rockfill dam built on a thick overburden layer is subjected to a large compressive pressure under the action of the loads such as the dead weight of both the dam and the overburden layer, the frictional force induced by the differential settlement between the cut-off wall and surrounding soils, and the water pressure. Thus, reduction of the stress of the cut-off wall has become one of the main problems for consideration in engineering design. In this paper, numerical analysis of a core rockfill dam built on a thick overburden layer was conducted and some factors influencing the stress-strain behaviors of the cut-off wall were investigated. The factors include the improvement of the overburden layer, the modeling approach for interfacial contact between the cut-off wall and surrounding soils, the modulus of the cut-off wall concrete, and the connected pattern between the cut-off wall and the clay core. The result shows that improving the overburden layer,selecting plastic concrete with a low modulus and high strength, and optimizing the connection between the cut-off wall and the clay core of the dam are effective measures of reducing the deformations and compressive stresses of the cut-off wall. | 8 | Temperature variations inside Chinese solar greenhouses with external climatic conditions and enclosure materials显示文摘Chinese solar greenhouses enable the extension of the crop growing season in the cold climate in Northern China with little or no additional heating.The temporal variations of the air temperatures inside solar greenhouses located at three cities in North,Northeast and Northwest China were predicted by CFD simulations of the greenhouse systems using typical meteorological data.The predicted temperatures based on the meteorological data in Shenyang are quite similar to the measured temperatures.The results also show that the external air temperatures and solar radiation fluxes play more important roles for the inside temperatures as indicated by the highest inner temperature in the morning on Feb.18 and from 10:00 to 14:00 on Feb.19 in Beijing and by the predicted temperatures inside the greenhouse being higher in Lanzhou than those in Shenyang and Beijing during most of the day.The average daily temperature inside the greenhouse in Lanzhou was nearly 3.5℃higher than that in Shenyang.Predicted air temperatures for various wall designs show that for single walls,the daily average interior temperatures in the aerated concrete wall greenhouse were higher than those in the brick wall and reinforced concrete wall greenhouses.However,the air temperature fluctuations were lower in the reinforced concrete wall greenhouse due to greater thermal storage capacity.The results also show that the temperatures in the layered wall greenhouses are quite similar,which coincides with the experimental results。 | Tong Guohong David M Christopher Li Tianlai Wang Tieliang | 2008 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2008,1,2: | 10 |

| 10 | LORELEI-LIKE GPI-ANCHORED PROTEINS 2/3 Regulate Pollen Tube Growth as Chaperones and Coreceptors for ANXUR/BUPS Receptor Kinases in Arabidopsis显示文摘Pollen tube growth is crucial for successful fertilization.In Arabidopsis thaliana,the ANXUR(ANX)/BUPS receptor kinase complex controls and maintains pollen tube growth in response to autocrine rapid alkalin-ization factor 4/19(RALF4/19)signaling;however,the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the ANX/BUPS-mediated regulation of pollen tube growth remain unclear.In this study,we found that pollen-specific LORELEI-like GPI-anchored proteins 2 and 3(LLG2/3)promote pollen tube growth in vitro and in vivo.LLG2/3 interacte with ANX/BUPS in a RALF4-concentration-dependent manner,suggesting that ANX/BUPS and LLG2/3 might form a receptor-coreceptor complex for perceiving RALF peptide signals.Disruption of the ANX/BUPS-LLG2/3 interaction led to the cytoplasmic retention of ANX1/2,in either llg2/3 knockdown mutants or in anx1/2 mutants lacking the J region,which mediates the ANX/BUPS-LLG2/3 interaction.Moreover,we found that RALF4 induced the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS),which stimulate pollen tube growth and reduce pollen burst rate.ROS levels are reduced in the pollen tubes of LLG2/3 RNAi lines,and application of exogenous H2O2 could partially rescue the defective pollen tube growth of LLG2/3 RNAi lines.Taken together,our study identifies LLG2/3 as novel regulatory components of pollen tube growth,and shows that they chaperone ANX/BUPS for secretion to the apical plasma membrane of pollen tube and act as coreceptors of ANX/BUPS in the acti-vation of ROS production for promoting pollen tube growth. | Hanqian Feng Chen Liu Rong Fu Minmin Zhang Hui Li Lianping Shen Qiqi Wei Xiang Sun Lin Xu Bin Ni Chao Li | 2019 | Molecular Plant2019,12,12: | 10 |

| 12 | Phosphorylation of LTF1, an MYB Transcription Factor in Populus, Acts as a Sensory Switch Regulating Lignin Biosynthesis in Wood Cells显示文摘Lignin is specifically deposited in plant secondary cell walls,and initiation of lignin biosynthesis is regulated by a variety of developmental and environmental signals.However,the mechanisms governing the regulation of lignin biosynthesis remain to be elucidated.In this study,we identified a lignin biosynthesis-associated transcription factor(LTF)from Populus,LTF1,which binds the promoter of a key lignin biosynthetic gene encoding 4-coumarate-CoA ligase(4CL).We showed that LTF1 in its unphosphorylated state functions as a regulator restraining lignin biosynthesis.When LTF1 becomes phosphorylated by PdMPK6 in response to external stimuli such as wounding,it undergoes degradation through a proteasome pathway,resulting in activation of lignification.Expression of a phosphorylation-null mutant version of LTF1 led to stable protein accumulation and persistent attenuation of lignification in wood cells.Taken together,our study reveals a mechanism whereby LTF1 phosphorylation acts as a sensory switch to regulate lignin biosynthesis in response to environmental stimuli.The discovery of novel modulators and mechanisms modifying lignin biosynthesis has important implications for improving the utilization of cell-wall biomass. | Jinshan Gui Laifu Luo Yu Zhong Jiayan Sun Toshiaki Umezawa Laigeng Li | 2019 | Molecular Plant2019,12,10: | 10 |
| 13 | Status of study on biological and toxicological effects of nanoscale materials显示文摘Because the physical and chemical properties of nanosized materials mostly differ from the existing microsized materials, their potential impacts on human health and the envi-ronment will be topics under the serious discussions in press and in a number of international scientific journals. We analyze and summarize the existing data of the experimental study on the biological activities and adverse effects of nanoscale materials/particles including single wall carbon nanotubes, multi wall carbon nanotubes, titanium oxide and iron powders. Though some biological behaviors of nanoscale materials observed cannot be understood on the basis of the current knowledge, as the existing data are mostly preliminary, it is too early to make some ex-clusive conclusions on biological activities (or the toxicity) of any of nanoscale materials. | 14 | PRGL:A cell wall proline-rich protein containning GASA domain in Gerbera hybrida显示文摘PRPs (proline-rich proteins) are a group of cell wall proteins characterized by their proline and hy- droproline-rich repetitive peptides. The expression of PRPs in plants is stimulated by wounding and environmental stress. GASA (gibberellic acid stimulated in Arabidopsis) proteins are small peptides sharing a 60 amino acid conserved C-terminal domain containing twelve invariant cysteine residues. Most of GASAs reported are localized to apoplasm or cell wall and their expression was regulated by gibberellins (GAs). It has been reported that, in French bean, these two proteins encoding by two distinct genes formed a two-component chitin-receptor involved in plant-pathogen interactions when plant was infected. We cloned a full-length cDNA of PRGL (proline-rich GASA-like) gene which encodes a protein containing both PRP and GASA-like domains. | 15 | Overview of China's Antarctic research progress 1984–2016显示文摘It is more than 30 years since the first Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition(CHINARE) landed in Antarctica in 1984, representing China's initiation in polar research. This review briefly summarizes the Chinese Antarctic scientific research and output accomplished over the past 30 years. The developments and progress in Antarctic research and the enhancement of international scientific cooperation achieved through the implementation of the CHINARE program have been remarkable. Since the 1980 s, four permanent Chinese Antarctic research stations have been established successively and 33 CHINAREs have been completed. | 16 | Wall-modeling for large-eddy simulation of flows around an axisymmetric body using the diffuse-interface immersed boundary method显示文摘A novel method is proposed to combine the wall-modeled large-eddy simulation(LES) with the diffuse-interface direct-forcing immersed boundary(IB) method.The new developments in this method include:(i) the momentum equation is integrated along the wall-normal direction to link the tangential component of the effective body force for the IB method to the wall shear stress predicted by the wall model;(ii) a set of Lagrangian points near the wall are introduced to compute the normal component of the effective body force for the IB method by reconstructing the normal component of the velocity. This novel method will be a classical direct-forcing IB method if the grid is fine enough to resolve the flow near the wall. The method is used to simulate the flows around the DARPA SUBOFF model. | 18 | Shaking table experimental study of recycled concrete frame-shear wall structures显示文摘In this study, four 1/5 scaled shaking table tests were conducted to investigate the seismic performance of recycled concrete frame-shear wall structures with different recycled aggregates replacement rates and concealed bracing detail. The four tested structures included one normal concrete model, one recycled coarse aggregate concrete model, and two recycled coarse and fi ne aggregate concrete models with or without concealed bracings inside the shear walls. The dynamic characteristics, dynamic response and failure mode of each model were compared and analyzed. Finite element models were also developed and nonlinear time-history response analysis was conducted. The test and analysis results show that the seismic performance of the recycled coarse aggregate concrete frame-shear wall structure is slightly worse than the normal concrete structure. The seismic resistance capacity of the recycled concrete frame-shear wall structure can be greatly improved by setting up concealed bracings inside the walls. | 19 | 筛选和转化药用野生稻TAC克隆获得耐旱水稻显示文摘【目的】利用分子生物学技术建立一种可有效转移药用野生稻有利基因的方法,为进一步大量开展利用药用野生稻有利基因提供技术基础。【方法】以植物抗性相关转录因子AP2/EREBP和bZIP家族基因保守序列为探针,采用同位素α-32P对探针进行标记,通过Southern杂交对药用野生稻TAC文库进行第一轮筛选;所获得阳性克隆用地高辛标记的探针进行第二轮筛选;最后利用PCR方法对第二轮筛选所获得的阳性克隆进行验证。通过农杆菌介导法将阳性克隆转入栽培稻品种日本晴,利用TAC载体插入片段两端的抗性标记Hpt和SacB,通过PCR扩增检测和和Southern杂交对转化植株进行鉴定。采用PEG胁迫法和生理指标变化对转基因T2植株的芽期、苗期耐旱性进行鉴定。【结果】第一轮TAC文库筛选共获得1 073个阳性克隆,其中,以AP2/EREBP的保守序列为探针筛选出606个、bZIP为探针筛选出467个。对这些阳性克隆进行第二轮筛选,从中共获得147个阳性克隆,其中,AP2/EREBP为探针筛选出95个、bZIP为探针筛选出52个。PCR验证有103个阳性克隆能够扩增出目的片段,分别是利用AP2/EREBP设计的引物筛选出63个克隆和bZIP的40个克隆,阳性克隆得率分别为66.32%和76.92%。通过农杆菌转化,以编号为52D-M16和22D-P2(与AP2/EREBP相关)以及55R-A17、49R-O14和8-A24(与bZIP相关)的克隆转化水稻日本晴均获得转化植株,转化试验结果发现外源插入片段越大则克隆转化的成苗率越低。抗性鉴定、PCR和Southern杂交结果均证明外源片段已转入受体水稻品种日本晴中。芽期抗旱性鉴定表明R12-23、R15-41和R1-8 3份材料的耐旱性优于受体日本晴,苗期鉴定显示M63-9和R12-23的耐旱性较强。综合认为,R12-23具有较好的耐旱性。【结论】通过构建药用野生稻TAC文库并结合特异克隆筛选和遗传转化方法,可以进行有利基因的转移,结合进一步的育种,有望实现药用野生稻在育种上的利用。 | 刘蕊 张欢欢 陈志雄 SHAHID Muhammad Qasim 傅雪琳 刘耀光 刘向东 卢永根 | 2014 | 中国农业科学2014,47,8: | 8 |
| 20 | 干酪乳杆菌细胞壁成分诱导小鼠自身免疫性心肌炎的研究显示文摘目的探讨应用干酪乳杆菌细胞壁成分(Lactobacilluscaseicellwallelement,LCWE)诱导小鼠自身免疫性心肌炎的可能性。方法参考Trang等〔1〕的方法制备成浓度为1mg/ml的LCWE。以此LCWE免疫遗传易感的BALB/c小鼠,建立自身免疫性心肌炎的模型。结果全部实验组小鼠在初次免疫后第14天出现不同程度的心肌炎病理改变,光镜下主要表现为心肌间质淋巴细胞浸润,局灶性心肌坏死和局灶性出血,并同时存在心内膜炎和心外膜炎。电镜下见心肌细胞及线粒体肿胀、肌丝溶解和淋巴细胞浸润。免疫鼠脾脏淋巴细胞升高,血清出现较高滴度的抗心肌抗体。在初次免疫后第28天上述炎症及心肌坏死减轻,脾脏淋巴细胞较前下降,血清抗心肌抗体滴度较前无明显变化。结论用LCWE能够诱导小鼠产生自身免疫性心肌炎,该动物模型病理改变典型,群体发生率高。 | 牛美真 王宏伟 覃丽君 施虹 刘亚黎 | 2005 | 中华微生物学和免疫学杂志2005,25,6: | 7 |
