| 1 | Estimation and accuracy evaluation of variance and covariance components based on more general functional model显示文摘Started from the more general functional model and based on the work of Koch K R (1986) and QU Zi qiang (1989), marginal likelihood function of variance and covariance components is derived and is identical with the orthogonal complement likelihood function. Minimum norm quadratic unibiased estimator (MINQUE) is developed, which expands the formula by Rao C R (1973). It is proved that Helmert type estimation, MINQUE, BQUE(Best quadratic unibiased estimation) and maximum likelihood estimation are identical with one another. Besides, a universal formula for accuracy evalution is presented. Through these work, a universal theory of variance and covariance components is established. | 王志忠 朱建军 | 2000 | 中国有色金属学会会刊:英文版2000,10,1: | 1 |
| 2 | An Evaluation Framework for Virtual Articulatory Movements Based on Medical Video显示文摘An important aspect of a Speech tutoring aimed talking-head system(STTS) is the accuracy of produced articulatory movements. Little work has been done for the Articulatory movements' accuracy(AMA)evaluation in STTSs. Although subjective evaluation is reliable, it is time consuming and inconvenient. The traditional objective evaluation is comparing the motion of several points on the surface of the synthetic articulator to the Electromagnetic articulography(EMA) data which describes the motion of corresponding points on the articulatory surface of a speaker. The EMA information is too limited to describe the whole shape changing of deformable articulators for a speech process. To solve this problem, we propose a substantially different objective evaluation method based on a separately recorded medical video. The synthetic articulatory shapes in a speech process are compared to the corresponding shapes tracked from the medical video. This method is translation, rotation, and scaling invariant which allows the comparison of the shapes from the synthetic tongue and the medical images. The time difference problem of synthesis results and medical video is solved by introducing Dynamic time warping(DTW) to the proposed method. Experimental results demonstrate that our method has the ability to evaluate the deformation shape accuracy from an entire articulation process. The comparison results suggest that our method is more accurate than the traditional method especially for deformable articulators. | LI Rui YU Jun LI Xian FANG Peng WANG Zengfu | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,3: | 1 |
| 3 | Reliability, Accuracy, and Use Frequency of Evaluation Methods for Amount of Tongue Coating显示文摘Objective: To classify the evaluation methods for amount of tongue coating(TC) and investigate their reliability, accuracy, and frequency of use. Methods: Articles published from 1985 to 2015 were searched for evaluation methods for the amount of TC in PubMed and the Cochrane Library. Only clinical researches were included except protocol articles. The methods were classi?ed according to their characteristics. Results: Finally,113 articles were selected. The evaluation method for the amount of TC from the articles was classi?ed into 4 types: intuitive, specificative, computerized, and weighing TC. The reliability in the intuitive and specificative methods(κ=0.33–0.92) showed varying levels among the studies. In general, the amount of TC calculated by the speci?cative method(Spearman's r=0.68–0.80) was more strongly related to the directly measured value than to the value estimated by the computerized method(Pearson's r=0.442). The number of articles published on this topic has increased consistently, and the speci?cative method was the most frequently used. Despite the higher reliability of the computerized method, it has not been widely used. Conclusions: The high prevalence of the speci?cative method would continue in clinical practice because of its convenience and accuracy. However,to establish higher reliability, the limitation of the subjectivity of the assessors should be overcome through calibration training. In the computerized method, novel algorithms are needed to obtain a higher accuracy so that it can help the practitioners con?dently estimate the amount of TC. | Su-Ryun Kim Dong-Hyun Nam | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2019,25,5: | 0 |
