| 1 | Design of a new dynamical core for global atmospheric models based on some efficient numerical methods显示文摘A careful study on the integral properties of the primitive hydrostatic balance equations for baroclinic atmosphere is carried out, and a new scheme todesign the global adiabatic model of atmospheric dynamics ispresented. This scheme includes a method of weighted equal-areamesh and a fully discrete finite difference method with quadraticand linear conservations for solving the primitive equationsystem. Using this scheme, we established a new dynamical corewith adjustable high resolution acceptable to the availablecomputer capability, which can be very stable without anyfiltering and smoothing. Especially, some important integralproperties are kept unchanged, such as the anti-symmetries of thehorizontal advection operators and the vertical convectionoperator, the mass conservation, the effective energy conservationunder the standard stratification approximation, and so on. Of these fertilizers, CAFs which are coated with resin are consumed in the largest quantity in the world. | 3 | The Harmonious Dissipative Operators and the Completely Square Conservative Difference Scheme in an Explicit Way显示文摘In this paper, a new definition on harmonious dissipative operators is given and some important properties of theirs are shown. Especially, the relationship between a harmonious dissipative operator and the completely square conservative difference scheme in an explicit way is revealed. Kinds of 2-order, 3-order and 4-order harmonious dissipative operators are constructed by using the traditional Runge-Kutta method and a species of general m-order harmonious dissipative operators is established in the linear case. In addition, an efficiency parameter to appraise the time benefits of a harmonious dissipative operator is defined in this paper. | 4 | Sequence variation and genetic diversity in the giant panda显示文摘About 336-444 bp mitochondrial D-loop region and tRNA gene were sequenced for 40 individuals of the giant panda which were collected from Mabian, Meigu, Yuexi, Baoxing, Pingwu, Qingchuan, Nanping and Baishuijiang, respectively. 9 haplotypes were found in 21 founders. The results showed that the giant panda has low genetic variations, and that there is no notable genetic isolation among geographical populations. The ancestor of the living giant panda population perhaps appeared in the late Pleistocene, and unfortunately, might have suffered bottle-neck attacks. | 5 | A study on population genetic structure of Oryza meyeriana (Zoll. et Mor. ex Steud.) Baill. from Yunnan and its in situ conservation significance显示文摘In order to determine genetic diversity of Oryza meyeriana (Zoll. et Mor. ex Steud. ) Baill., 12 enzyme systems encoded by 17 loci were electrophoretically analyzed in 164 individuals of seven populations from Simao Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. In comparison with those seed plants with the same life history and breeding systems, as well as the other species in the genus Oryza, the species shows rather low levels of genetic diversity (A = 1.1, P = 8.0%, Ho = 0.004 and He = 0. 015) within populations and high genetic differentiation among populations. FST was up to 0. 649, suggesting that 64. 9% of total genetic variability exists among populations. | 8 | Characteristics and conservation of biodiversity in Xinjiang显示文摘The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region covers nearly 1/6 territory of China, with vari-ous landscape patterns, environmental conditions and three key regions of biodiversity of China.The ecosystem here has a relatively simple structure and fragile ecological stability. The coverageof sparse vegetation here is only 2.1% which is far lower than 14%, the average coverage all overthe country. Although the fragile and unstable ecosystems are improved partly in the past, the totalsituation in Xinjiang has worsened (such as drying up of rivers and lakes, desertification andsalinization of soil, deterioration of meadow, reduction of biodiversity, etc.). Although the speciesnumbers of Xinjiang are few, the diversity of taxa is very high. The types of plant communities areabundant, and the flora abounds in one-species genus, one-genus family and few-species genus.Also, the fauna abounds in endangered species and endemic species, of which 108 species ofvertebrates were listed as nationally protected species. In addition, there are abundantanti-adversity gene pools.
