| 1 | Source mechanism of strong aftershocks (M_s≥5.6) of the 2008/05/12 Wenchuan earthquake and the implication for seismotectonics显示文摘Dozens of >M5, hundreds of >M4, and much more >M3 aftershocks occurred after the 2008/05/12 Wenchuan earthquake, which were well recorded by permanent and portable seismic stations. After relocated with P arrival, the >M3 aftershocks show two trends of distribution, with most of the aftershocks located along the north-east strike consistent with Longmenshan fault system, yet there is a north-west trend around the epicenter. It seems that substantially more aftershocks occur in regions with crystalline bedrocks. Then we collected waveform data from National Digital Seismograph Network and regional seismograph network of China, and employed 'Cut and Paste' method to obtain focal mechanisms and depths of the big aftershocks (M≥5.6). While most of those aftershocks show thrust mechanism, there are some strike slip earthquakes in the northern-most end of the rupture. Focal mechanisms show that the events located on the southern part of central Beichuan-Yingxiu Fault (BY) are mainly thrust earthquakes, which is consistent with initial mechanism of the main shock rupture. In the north part the aftershocks along the BY are also dominated by thrust slip, which is quite different from the right slip rupture of the main shock. Around Qingchuan-Pingwu Fault, the focal mechanisms are dominated by right-slip rupture with large depths (~18 km). So we suspected that in the north part the main shock might rupture on two faults: Beichuan Fault and Qingchuan-Pingwu Fault. | 3 | Exogenous ethylene influences flower opening of cut roses (Rosa hybrida) by regulating the genes encoding ethylene biosynthesis enzymes显示文摘The purpose of this paper is to investigate the differential responses of flower opening to ethylene in two cut rose cultivars, ‘Samantha’, whose opening process is promoted, and ‘Kardinal’, whose opening process is inhibited by ethylene. Ethylene production and 1- aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate (ACC) synthase and oxidase activities were determined first. After ethylene treatment, ethylene production, ACC synthase (ACS) and ACC oxidase (ACO) activities in petals increased and peaked at the earlier stage (stage 3) in ‘Samantha’, and they were much more dramatically enhanced and peaked at the later stage (stage 4) in ‘Kardinal’ than control during vasing. cDNA fragments of three Rh-ACSs and one Rh- ACO genes were cloned and designated as Rh-ACS1, Rh-ACS2, Rh-ACS3 and Rh-ACO1 respectively. Northern blotting analysis revealed that, among three genes of ACS, ethylene-in- duced expression patterns of Rh-ACS3 gene corresponded to ACS activity and ethylene production in both cultivars. A more dramatic accumulation of Rh-ACS3 mRNA was induced by ethylene in ‘Kardinal’ than that of ‘Samantha’. As an ethylene action inhibitor, STS at concentration of 0.2 mmol/L generally inhib-ited the expression of Rh-ACSs and Rh-ACO in both cultivars, although it induced the expression of Rh-ACS3 transiently in ‘Kardinal’. Our results suggests that ‘Kardinal’ is more sensitive to ethylene than ‘Samantha’; and the changes of Rh-ACS3 expression caused by ethylene might be related to the acceleration of flower opening in ‘Samantha’ and the inhibition in ‘Kardinal’. Graphene oxide(GO) has excellent properties due to its basal carbon plane and oxygen-containingfunctional groups. In the present work, the antimicrobial activity of GO wasexploited to extend the vase life and improve the quality of cut roses (cv. Carola).The results revealed that the cut roses cultivated in low doses of GO (0.1 mg/L)had longer vase life, larger diameter, and better water relations. Microbialcontaminations at the basal stem end is the most common reason for stemblockage that causes water stress and early wilting of cut flowers. | 12 | 不同形态年龄相关性白内障对客观视觉质量的影响显示文摘目的探讨不同形态早期年龄相关性白内障对客观视觉质量的影响。方法临床病例对照研究。选取2013年3月到2013年8月就诊于中国医科大学眼科医院的最佳矫正视力(BCVA)LogMAR≤0.3的年龄相关性白内障患者113例(121只眼),分为3组,其中皮质性白内障组41例(44只眼)、核性白内障组36例(39只眼)、后囊膜下白内障组36例(38只眼)。使用综合验光仪测量患者的BCVA,OQAS视觉质量分析仪测量患者的散射光(OSI),调制传递函数(MTF cut off)和斯特列尔比(SR)。结果三组的BCVA(LogMAR)分别为:皮质性白内障组(0.23±0.10)logMAR,核性白内障组(0.23±0.08)logMAR,后囊膜下白内障组(0.25±0.10)logMAR,三组BCVA的差异无统计学意义(F=0.68,P=0.51)。三组的年龄、眼内散射光的自然对数LN(OSI)、MTF(cut off),斯特列尔比(SR):皮质性白内障组分别为64.57±6.25、1.35±0.63、11.85±4.24、0.09±0.02,核性白内障组:分别为69.90±5.01、1.01±0.43、14.82±5.50、0.10±0.03,后囊膜下白内障组分别为:61.03±9.52、1.85±0.58、8.71±6.36、0.08±0.03,ANOVA检验各种形态白内障组在年龄、LN(OSI)、MTF(cut off),SR之间的差异均有统计学意义(F=15.17、22.49、12.38、11.84,P〈0.05);经Bonferroni检验,年龄为皮质性自内障组和后囊膜下白内障小于核性白内障组;OSI值为后囊膜下白内障、皮质性白内障及核性向内障依次减小;MTF cut off为后囊膜下白内障、皮质性向内障及核性白内障为依次增大;核性白内障的SR值比皮质性白内障、后囊膜下白内障大;皮质性白内障、核性白内障及后囊下白内障的BCVA与OSI均呈正相关(r=0.41,P〈0.01;r=0.33,P=0.04;r=0.32,P=0.05)。皮质性、核性及后囊下白内障的BCVA与MTF cut off均无统计学意义(r=-0.26,P=0.08;r=-0.09,P=0.58;r=-0.18,P=0.29)。皮质性、核性及后囊下自内障的OSI与MTF cut off相关性均差异有统计学意义(r=-0.88,P〈0.01;r=-0.70,P〈0.01;r=-0.76,P〈0.01)。结论散射光、MTF(cut off)、斯特列尔比町以客观地反映白内障形态对患者视觉质量的影响,后囊膜下白内障对视觉质量影响最大. | 丁晓霞 陆博 赵江月 张劲松 | 2015 | 中国实用眼科杂志2015,33,8: | 5 |
| 13 | Prevention and management of pleural effusion following hepatectomy in primary liver cancer显示文摘Postoperative pleural effusion occurs frequently after hepatectomy. The risk factors, prevention and management of postoperative pleural effusion in patients with primary liver cancer (PLC) who have undergone hepatectomy and the value of the argon beam coagulator (ABC) for the prevention of pleural effusion are studied. METHODS:A total of 523 patients with PLC at our institution who had had right hepatectomy from July 2000 to June 2004 were studied retrospectively. Comparative analysis was made to identify the factors contributing to postoperative pleural effusion and the efficacy of various managements. RESULTS:Of the 523 patients whose livers were dissociated using argon beam cutting and/or coagulation, 20(3.8%) developed pleural effusions;whereas in the other 467 patients underwent hepatectomy with suture ligation of the diaphragmatic secondary wound surface during the same period, 49(10.5%) had pleural effusion (P<0.01). The factors contributing to postoperative pleural effusion included subphrenic collection, postoperative hepatic insufficiency with ascites, duration of hepatic occlusion and underlying cirrhosis. CONCLUSIONS: Dissociation of the liver by argon beam cutting and/or coagulation can save suture ligation of the diaphragmatic secondary wound surface and may also prevent postoperative pleural effusion.
