| 1 | Modeling the relationship of land use change and some geophysical indicators for the interlock area of farming and pasturing in China显示文摘This paper discusses land-use changes in the interlock area of farming and pasturing (IAFP)in northern China. It presents detailed analyses of land-use features in the IAFP, which are controlled by the macro geomorphic units and geophysical conditions-constraints or advantages. Additionally, it selects some indicators, according to the availability in acquiring and processing their quantitative data, to analyze the canonical correlations between the typical conversion of grassland and geophysical conditions. The preliminary study indicates that the physical conditions are of great advantages to the development of grassland. | 2 | 中国山区农村土地利用转型及其对土地整治的政策启示(英文)显示文摘The cultivation of mountainous land results in water loss and soil erosion. With rapid urbanization and industrialization in China, labor emigration relieves the cultivation of mountainous areas in regions with high poverty and leads to a significant land use transition. This research built an analysis framework for 'land use transition – driving mechanism – effects –responses' for mountainous areas of China undergoing land use transition and then proposed the direction of mountainous land consolidation. The results showed that the turning point of land use morphology was the core of rural land use transition in mountainous areas. The expansion of cropland and the contraction of forestland have transitioned to the abandonment of cropland and the expansion of forestland;this transition was the main characteristic of the dominant land use change. Land marginalization and land ecological functional recovery were the main characteristics of the recessive land use transition in mountainous areas. Socioeconomic factors were the primary driving forces during land use transition in mountainous areas, with labor emigration being the most direct force. The rising costs of farming and the challenging living conditions causing labor emigration were fundamental driving forces. Rural land use transition in mountainous areas reduced the vulnerability of the ecological function of land ecosystems. The advantages and disadvantages of the socioeconomic effects should focus on rural development of mountainous areas as well as the livelihood of farmers;this should be further supported by empirical and quantitative research. Rural land use transition of mountainous areas improves natural restoration and is related to socioeconomic development. | 4 | Development of the model for simulating weld metal solidification cracking in stainless steel显示文摘According to the characteristics of welding process, this paper divided the welding joint of a weldment into three zones: the liquid zone in the molten pool, the solid liquid co existing zone and the solid zone. In order to develop the stress/strain numerical model, the mechanical behaviors of the three zones were analyzed in detail. Moreover, Based on the solid fractions during solidification process and loading unloading deforming curves of stainless steel SUS310, this paper also studied the effects of deformation of molten pool, the rheologic properties and solidification shrinkage on stress/strain evaluating processes. Finally, the influence of the deformation in the molten pool was eliminated by element rebirth method. Furthermore, the algorithm of the thermal stress/strain for the solid metal formulated on the basis of the incremental thermo elastoplastic constitutive theory. | 11 | Spatial patterns of net primary productivity and its driving forces:a multi-scale analysis in the transnational area of the Tumen River显示文摘Analyzing the spatial patterns of net primary productivity(NPP)and its driving forces in transnational areas provides a solid basis for understanding regional ecological processes and ecosystem services.However,the spatial patterns of NPP and its driving forces have been poorly understood on multiple scales in transnational areas.In this study,the spatial patterns of NPP in the transnational area of the Tumen River(TATR)in 2016 were simulated using the Carnegie Ames Stanford Approach(CASA)model,and its driving forces were analyzed using a stepwise multiple linear regression model.We found that the total amount of NPP in the TATR in 2016 was approximately 14.53 TgC.The amount of NPP on the Chinese side(6.23 TgC)was larger than those on the other two sides,accounting for 42.88%of the total volume of the entire region.Among different land-use and land-cover(LULC)types,the amount of NPP of the broadleaf forest was the largest(11.22 TgC),while the amount of NPP of the bare land was the smallest.The NPP per unit area was about 603.21 gC/(m2 yr)across the entire region,while the NPP per unit area on the Chinese side was the largest,followed by the Russian side and the DPRK's side.The spatial patterns of NPP were influenced by climate,topography,soil texture,and human activities.In addition,the driving forces of the spatial patterns of NPP in the TATR had an obvious scaling effect,which was mainly caused by the spatial heterogeneity of climate,topography,soil texture,and human activities.We suggest that effective land management policies with cooperation among China,the DPRK,and Russia are needed to maintain NPP and improve environmental sustainability in the TATR. | Jianwen WANG Da ZHANG Ying NAN Zhifeng LIU Dekang QI | 2020 | Frontiers of Earth Science2020,14,1: | 1 |

| 13 | 中国边境地区城镇化时空格局及其驱动力显示文摘Border area is not only an important gateway for inland opening-up,but also an important part of completing the building of a moderately prosperous society and optimizing national urban spatial pattern in China.Due to the location,natural resources endowment,and traffic accessibility,the urbanization speed is relatively slow in border areas.Therefore,it is a special area that needs to pay close attention to,especially under the background of the Belt and Road Initiative and China's regional coordinated development program.Based on the county-level data from 2000 to 2015,this paper tries to analyze the spatio-temporal pattern of urbanization in 134 border counties,and applies geographical detector method to study the driving forces of urbanization in border areas.Conclusions are as follows:(1)From 2000 to 2015,urbanization rate in border areas has been lower than the national average,and the gap has been widening.Some border counties in southern Xinjiang,Tibet,northeast of Inner Mongolia,and Yunnan,are even facing the problem of population loss.(2)In the same period,urbanization rate in the northwestern and southwestern border is low,while their urbanization rate grows relatively faster comparing with other border counties;urbanization rate in Tibet border is the lowest and grows relatively slowly;urbanization rate in the northeastern and northern border is slightly higher,but it grows slowly or even stagnates.(3)Transportation and industry are the important driving forces of urbanization in border areas,while the driving forces of market is relatively weak.And there are obvious mutual reinforcements among the driving forces,while the effort and explanatory power of resource force increases obviously after interaction.(4)Urbanization rate in the northwestern and southwestern border areas grows relatively fast,with industrial force and transportation force,market force and administrative force as the main driving forces respectively.Tibet border area has the lowest urbanization rate and growth rate,as the driving force of urbanization with strong contribution has not yet formed in Tibet.In the northeastern and northern border areas,the contribution of transportation force to urbanization is greater than other forces,and its interaction with market and industry has obvious effects. | 宋周莺 祝巧玲 | 2020 | Journal of Geographical Sciences2020,30,5: | 1 |
