1Spatial distribution of air temperature and relative humidity in the greenhouse as affected by external shading in arid climates显示文摘The effect of external roof shading on the spatial distribution of air temperature and relative humidity in a greenhouse(Tin and RHin) was evaluated under the arid climatic conditions of Riyadh City, Saudi Arabia. Two identical, evaporatively-cooled, single-span greenhouses were used in the experiment. One greenhouse was externally shaded(Gs) using a movable black plastic net(30% transmissivity), and the other greenhouse was kept without shading(Gc). Strawberry plants were cultivated in both greenhouses. The results showed that the spatial distribution of the Tin and RHin was significantly affected by the outside solar radiation and evaporative cooling operation. The regression analysis showed that when the outside solar radiation intensity increased from 200 to 800 W m–2, the Tin increased by 4.5℃ in the Gc and 2℃in the Gs, while the RHin decreased by 15% in the Gc and 5% in the Gs, respectively. Compared with those in the Gc, more uniformity in the spatial distribution of the Tin and RHin was observed in the Gs. The difference between the maximum and minimum Tin of 6.4℃ and the RHin of 10% was lower in the Gs than those in the Gc during the early morning. Around 2℃ difference in the Tin was shown between the area closed to the exhausted fans and the area closed to the cooling pad with the external shading. In an evaporatively-cooled greenhouse in arid regions, the variation of the Tin and RHin in the vertical direction and along the sidewalls was much higher than that in the horizontal direction. The average variation of the Tin and RHin in the vertical direction was 5.2℃ and 10% in the Gc and 5.5℃ and 13% in the Gs, respectively. 2Experimental Study of Air Conditioning Unit of Evaporative Cooling Assisted Mechanical Refrigeration显示文摘The evaporative cooling,which assists the refrigeration machinery air-conditioning systems test-rig,has been designed.Its structure and working principle were described,and the performance test was conducted and analyzed.The test shows that making full use of the evaporative cooling 'free cooling' in Spring and Autumn seasons can fully meet the requirements of air-conditioned comfort through the switch of the function in different seasons.Taking into account the evaporative cooling fan and pump energy consumption,compared with the traditional mechanical refrigeration system,more than 80 percent of energy can be saved,and the energy efficiency ratio of the Unit(EER)is as high as 7.63.Using the two stages of indirect evaporative cooling to pre-cool the new wind in summer,under the conditions of the same air supply temperature requirements,0.83 kg/s chilled water saved can be equivalent to the traditional mechanical refrigeration system,and when the new wind ratio up to 50 percent,more than 10 percent load was reduced in mechanical refrigeration system.The overall EER increased about 35 percent.HUANG Xiang,XU Fang-cheng,WU Jun-mei(Xi’an polytechnic University,Xi’an,Shaanxi 710048,China) 2009湖南大学学报(自然科学版)2009,36,S1:3
3Study of the circulation theory of the cooling system in vertical evaporative cooling generator显示文摘The article briefly states the current development of evaporative cooling generator and its advantages comparing with generators of traditional cooling. Vertical evaporative cooling generator, which adopts Close-Loop-Self-Cycle with no-pump and free convection boil in the hollow stator bar, is one of the great developments in generator design. This article emphasizes the importance of cooling system in generator; expatiates the circulation theory in two aspects, energy and flow; and analyzes the essential reason, motivity and stability of Close-Loop-Self-Cycle. The article points out that the motivity of the circulation is the heat absorbed by coolant. After absorbing heat the coolant will have the ability of doing work because of the phase change. In another words, it is the buoy- ancy causing by density difference leads to the Close-Loop-Self-Cycle. 4Research on Landscape Energy-Saving Integrated Water Curtain System显示文摘Aiming at the serious heat and cold loss of the building glass curtain wall in the field of amusement and tourism,and the need to meet the landscape requirements of the building facade,this paper put forward the idea of integrating the shading and consumption reduction of glass curtain wall with the landscape requirements,that is,the water curtain was set outside the glass curtain wall to form a landscape energy-saving integrated water curtain wall system,while meeting the needs of landscape and shading.By establishing the numerical calculation model of the system,the corresponding relationship between the thickness of water film and the weakening of solar radiation intensity was revealed,as well as the influence of wind speed and wind direction on the nozzle exit angle and velocity selection;and the synergistic law of air flow rate and air temperature drop amplitude.The results showed that the water film thickness at 3-4 cm can reduce the solar radiation by 65%-80%.The temperature of the air layer between the water film and the curtain wall decreased as the air flow rate decreased,when the thickness of water film was 2 cm and the air velocity was 0.5-1.5 m/s,the air temperature dropped to 2.47-3.6°C.Finally,through the analysis of the actual project-ICE World&WATER Park,the system can reduce 66.8%of solar radiation,and reduce the air layer temperature by 3.9°C.GUO Pengxin LI Hongqiang HE Changjie ZHENG Yingfa LI Shuisheng ZHANG Guoqiang 2019Journal of Thermal Science2019,28,6:0
5Collision of cold CaF molecules: Towards evaporative cooling显示文摘Long range intermolecular interaction potential surface of CaF(~2∑^+) was simulated by employing the MOLPRO program and using the RCCSD(T)/def2-TZVP theory. The predicted data were further fitted to obtain the collision crosssection. The elastic collision cross-section of CaF at the temperature around 2 mK is as high as 6.5 × 10^(-9) cm^2 and the collision rate is over 4.1 × 10~6 Hz. Additionally, we found that an orientation electric field will simplify the intermolecular interaction potential function from quaternary into ternary and the collision cross-section will be raised by about three orders.
