| 1 | Climatic and environmental changes over the last millennium recorded in the Malan ice core from the northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘In this paper, climatic and environmental changes were reconstructed since 1129A.D. based on the Malan ice core from Hol Xil, the northern Tibetan Plateau. The record of δ 18O in the Malan ice core indicated that the warm-season air temperature variations displayed a general increase trend, the 20th-century warming was within the range of natural climate variability, and the warmest century was the 17th century while the warmest decade was the 1610s, over the entire study period. The “Medieval Warm Epoch” and “Little Ice Age” were also reflected by the ice core record. The dust ratio in the Malan ice core is a good proxy for dust event frequency. The 870-year record of the dust ratio showed that dust events occurred much frequently in the 19th century. Comparing the variations of δ 18O and the dust ratio, it is found that there was a strong negative correlation between them on the time scales of 101―102 years. By analyses of all the climatic records of ice cores and tree rings from the northern Tibetan Plateau, it was revealed that dust events were more frequent in the cold and dry periods than in the warm and wet periods. | WANG Ninglian1,2, YAO Tandong2,1, PU Jianchen1, ZHANG Yongliang1 & SUN Weizhen1 1. | 2 | Structure and stability of (AlN)_n clusters显示文摘AIN and Al2N2 have been observed in the record of time-of-flight mass-spectra as positive ions. Associating with density functional theory(DFT) B3LYP method with 6-31G* basis set, we have carried out the optimizing calculations of the geometry, electronic state and vibrational frequency for (AIN)n (n = 1-15) clusters, moreover, discussed the character of the chemical bond and thermodynamical stability and explained the experimental mass spectra. | 3 | Study on the general model of hydrological frequency analysis显示文摘On the basis of exponential Gamma distribution, this paper presents a model consisting of 11 kinds of distribution curves for the first time. The model contains several frequency curves used commonly in China and other countries, for example, Pearson type-3 distribution, Kritsky and Menkel (USSR) distribution, Logarithmic normal distribution, and so on. Through dealing with parameters, the model may be applicable to the hydrological extreme values of different climate regions, and has very strong flexibility. | 6 | Structure and stability for (AlN)_n^+ and (AlN)_n^- (n=1-15) clusters显示文摘Using density functional theory (DFT) method with 6-31G* basis set, we have carried out the optimizing calculation of geometry, vibrational frequency and thermodynamical stability for(AIN)n+ and (AIN)n- (n =1-15) clusters. Moreover, their ionic potential (IP) and electron affinity(EA) were discussed. The results show that the electrical charge condition of the cluster has a relatively great impact on the structure of the cluster and with the increase of n, this kind of impactis reduced gradually. There are no AI-AI and N-N bonds in the stable structure of (AIN)n+ or (AIN)n-, and the AI-N bond is the sole bond type. The magic number regularity of (AIN)n+, and (AIN)n- is consistent with that for (AIN)n, indicating that the structure with even n such as 2, 4,6, … is more stable.
