1Temperature variations in the past 6000 years inferred from δ^(18)O of peat cellulose from Hongyuan,China显示文摘Trends of the temperature variations recorded in δ18O in Hongyuan peat cellulose are similar to those recorded in δ18O of Jinchuan peat cellulose and in δ18O of Dunde ice core. Climate events have been identified to be globally homogeneous. Two notable climate transition periods have been detected in the past 6000 years, namely 4000 aBP with climate shifting from cold to warm and 1500 aBP with climate shifting from warm to relatively cold. Power spectrum analysis was performed to investigate the periodical signals in the δ18O time series. Typical periodicities of 1200-1087 a, 752 a, 444 a, 325 a, 213 a, 127-123 a, 88 a, 79 a were discovered, indicating an integrated influence on Hongyuan climate from solar, monsoon and ocean activities. 3内蒙古克什克腾旗小东沟斑岩型钼矿床成岩成矿机制探讨显示文摘本文选取内蒙古克什克腾旗的小东沟斑岩型钼矿区作为研究区,它位于西拉沐伦钼矿带的西南部。对小东沟岩体进行了主微量元素、SHRIMP锆石U-Pb定年等地球化学方面的研究;对岩体中的钾长石和含矿矿物辉钼矿进行了普通铅同位素分析。小东沟岩体具有高硅富钾、REE含量低、Zr含量高、无负铕异常、高ε_(Nd)(t)、低Sr_i等特点,指示岩浆起源于加厚新生下地壳的熔融,同时具有高温、快速熔融、快速析离逃离源区的特点;小东沟岩体的SHRIMP锆石U-Pb定年结果为142±2Ma,对应140Ma左右主应力场由南北向转为东西向的构造体制大转折时期,这个时期大兴安岭处于伸展的构造环境下,底侵作用发育,地幔物质可以添加到下地壳熔融形成的岩浆中;对岩体钾长石和辉钼矿进行的普通铅同位素分析显示前者具有从造山带-地幔过渡的特征,后者则显示有地幔特征,说明成岩、成矿物质来自两个不同的源区,下地壳的岩浆和地幔含矿流体发生了混合。通过以上的分析,结合水-岩浆物理反应的实验结果,本文提出小东沟斑岩型钼矿床的成矿模式:大兴安岭地区在早白垩世伸展的构造背景下,地幔含矿流体加入受底侵作用加热的下地壳中使之熔融形成岩浆,随后更多的地幔含矿流体进入岩浆房,促使其迅速析离逃逸出源区,二者一起上升侵位。在岩浆温度较高时,地幔含矿流体和岩浆大致以较稳定的液态不混溶的状态共存;当岩浆和流体侵位到较浅深度时,压力下降,温度降低,晶体增多,流体-岩浆体系变得不稳定,岩浆被流体分割成许多很小的岩浆团。流体中H^+、K^+和各种成矿元素的存在使之必然会和岩浆或冷却后形成的岩石发生蚀变反应,并晶出成矿矿物,形成现在我们看到的具有浸染状矿化现象的小东沟斑岩型钼矿床。覃锋 刘建明 曾庆栋 罗照华 2009岩石学报2009,25,12:29
4Chronology of ultrahigh-pressure metamorphism in the Dabie Mountains and Su-Lu terrane: I. Sm-Nd isotope system显示文摘If the protolith of coesite-bearing eclogite was gabbro, it could undergo ultrahigh-pressure metamorphism under dry condition. In this case, the Hocking temperatures of those minerals could be higher, so that Nd isotope disequilibrium between minerals could be observed. If the protolith of coesite-bearing edogite was metabasalt, amphiboles in the metabasalt were decomposed during ultrahigh-pressure metamorphism and released water. Thus Nd isotope compositions between the minerals were in equilibrium because the blocking temperatures of those minerals could he lower. The secondary alteration and fluid-rock interaction in high-pressure are major problems for Sm-Nd dating of eclogite. The reliable Sm-Nd isotopic ages of coesite-bearing eclogite from the Dabie Mountains and Su-Lu terrane range from 221 to 232 Ma. They are slightly lower, but very close to the peak metamorphic ages of the eclogites. 5Nature of the Precambrian metamorphic blocks in the eastern segment of Central Tianshan:Constraint from geochronology and Nd isotopic geochemistry显示文摘Granitoid gneisses are widespread in Precambrian metamorphic blocks of eastern segment of the Central Tianshan Tectonic Zone, and they have intrusive contact relationships with their metamorphic sedimentary country rocks of Proterozoic Xingxingxia and Kawabulag groups. Zircon U-Pb ages from a granodioritic gneiss (IW11-1) and a parametamorphic schist (W05-9) are determined at the Weiya area. Euhedral prismatic zircons from the granodioritic gneiss (IW11-1) provide U-Pb isotopic discordia intercept ages of 1218±17 Ma and 426±26 Ma, respectively, and euhedral prismatic zircons from the parametamorphic schist (W05-9) display U-Pb isotopic discordia intercept ages of 1216±74 Ma and 290±15 Ma, respectively. A whole-rock Sm-Nd isotopic isochron is determined in augen granitoid gneiss samples at the Gang- gou-Kumishi area and we obtain the isochron age of 1142±120 Ma, and its ε Nd (t) = -4.3. These geochronological data suggest that these Precambrian metamorphic basement blocks within eastern segment of the Central Tianshan Tectonic Zone can be produced during 1140—1220 Ma, and occur a nearly homochronous metamorphism. Integrated to these geochronological data, Nd depleted mantle model ages (T DM ) and epsilon Nd(t) values of these granitoid gneiss samples indicate that they can derive from mixing in various scales both magmas from mantle and crust sources at a late Mesoproterozoic active continental margin tectonic environment. 7Indian Ocean-MORB-type isotopic signature of Yushigou ophiolite in North Qilian Mountains and its implications显示文摘In order to explore the disputed issue concerning the tectonic affinity of the ancient ocean mantle of North Qilian Mountains (NQM), geochemical and Sr, Nd, Pb isotopic compositions of pillow basalts of the Yushigou Ophiolite (YSGO) suite from NQM have been analyzed systematically. The pillow basalts exhibit tholeiitic characteristics, with flat chondrite-normalized REE patterns ((La/Yb)N = 0.98―1.27). They display no Nb, Ta, Zr, Hf negative anomalies, and show MORB features in 2Nb-Zr/4-Y and Ti/100-Zr-Y×3 tectonic discrimination diagrams. These results indicate that the Yushigou ophiolite is most likely to be formed in a mid-ocean ridge or mature back-arc basin. Their isotopic data show a relatively broad and enriched 87Sr/86Sr (0.70509 ― 0.70700), restricted 143Nd/144Nd (0.512955―0.512978). Pb isotopes are in the range of 206Pb/204Pb (18.054―20.562), 207Pb/204Pb (15.537―15.743) and 208Pb/204Pb (38.068―38.530). These isotopic data imply that the basalts originated from the depleted mantle (DMM), with the involvement of enriched mantle compo-nents (mainly EMII). Geochemical comparisons between the basalts in YSGO and the MORB-type basalts of ophiolite suites occurring in the known ancient Tethyan tectonic domain indicate that the ancient oceanic mantle represented by YSGO suite forming in early Paleozoic in the North Qilian Moutains is very similar to the Tethyan mantle in both trace elements and isotopic compositions. The North Qilian Mountains should be a part of the Tethyan tectonic domain in early Paleozoic. 8Mineralization episode of porphyry copper deposits in the Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt: Re-Os dating显示文摘Re-Os isotopic dating for the molybdenites from the porphyry copper deposits of the Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt in Yunnan Province yields isochron ages of 33.9±1.1 Ma for the Machangqing deposit and 34.4±0.5 Ma for the Tongchang deposit. This result shows that both the Machangqing and the Tongchang porphyry Cu-Mo deposits from two different ore-fields formed simultaneously. This new data and the published Re-Os model ages of molybdenite (35.4 Ma, 35.9 Ma, 36.2 Ma) of the Yulong porphyry copper deposit in Tibet, which is located in the same Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt as the Machangqing deposit and the Tongchang deposit, suggest that these three Cenozoic porphyry copper deposits in the Jinshajiang-Red River mineralization belt were contemporary for their mineralization episode. 10U-Pb isotopic compositions of the ultrahigh pressure metamorphic (UHPM) rocks from Shuanghe and gneisses from Northern Dabie zone in the Dabie Mountains, central China: Constraint on the exhumation mechanism of UHPM rocks显示文摘The U-Pb isotopic study of the ultrahigh pressure metamorphic (UHPM) rocks and gneisses from the Dabie Mountains shows that the UHPM rocks exposed in the Southern Dabie zone have relatively low Pb contents (most < 4×10-6), high U/Pb ratios (most > 0.1), and a large variation of Pb isotopic ratios with relatively high radiogenic Pb (206Pb/204Pb = 17.026—20.781). Their low Pb contents could be the result of Pb loss caused by fluid expulsion during continental subduction, while their high radiogenic Pb values can be explained by the mixing of the upper crust Pb and the mantle Pb. In contrast, the gneisses exposed in the Northern Dabie zone have higher Pb contents (most > 4×10-6), lower U/Pb ratios (< 0.07), and lower Pb isotopic ratios (206Pb/204Pb = 15.799—17.204), which are similar to those of the Mesozoic granites developed in both Northern and Southern Dabie zones. It is suggested that the Northern Dabie zone may have experienced a smaller fluid expulsion and Pb loss during the continental subduction, and their Pb isotopic compo-sitions could be explained by the mixing of the lower crust Pb and the mantle Pb. Their initial Pb isotope ratios at 230 Ma suggest that the U/Pb ratios of the UHPM rocks in the Southern Dabie zone are higher than those of the gneisses in the Northern Dabie zone in a long period of time be-fore the continental subduction. The above observations suggest that the protoliths of the UHPM rocks in the Southern Dabie zone are upper crustal rocks in the subducted continental crust, while the gneisses in the Northern Dabie zone have the middle-lower crust features. Sr and Nd isotopic geochemistry of the syncollisional mafic-ultramafic intrusions in Dabie Mountains显示文摘The syncollisional mafic\|ultramafic rocks with Nb, Zr, Ti negative anomalies in the North Dabie terrane have Sr and Nd isotopic compositions with EMI features. Their low and variable initial ε Nd values ranging from -2 to -18 are similar to those of their gneissic country rocks and the ultrahigh\|pressure metamorphic rocks in the South Dabie terrane. 12Nd isotopic compositions of the Tethyan Himalayan Sequence in southeastern Tibet显示文摘The Himalayan orogen consists of three major lithologic units that are separated by two major north-dipping faults: the Lesser Himalayan Sequence (LHS) below the Main Central Thrust (MCT), the Greater Himalayan Crystalline Complex (GHC) above the MCT, and the Tethyan Himalayan Sequence (THS) juxtaposed by the South Tibet Detachment fault (STD) over the GHC. Due to widespread meta-morphism and intense deformation, differentiating the above three lithologic units is often difficult. This problem has been overcome by the use of Sm-Nd isotopic analysis. The previous studies suggested that the LHS can be clearly distinguished from the GHC and THS by their Nd isotope compositions. However, the lack of detailed and systematic Sm-Nd isotopic studies of the THS across the Himalaya in general has made differentiation of this unit from the nearby GHC impossible, as the two appear to share overlapping Nd compositions and model ages. To address this problem, we systematically sam-pled and analyzed Nd isotopes of the THS in southeastern Tibet directly north of Bhutan. Our study identifies two distinctive fields in a εNd -TDM plot. The first is defined by the εNd(210 Ma) values of -3.45 to -7.34 and TDM values of 1.15 to 1.29 Ga from a Late Triassic turbidite sequence, which are broadly similar to those obtained from the Lhasa block. The second field is derived from the Early Cretaceous meta-sedimentary rocks with εNd(130 Ma) values from -15.24 to -16.61 and TDM values from 1.63 to 2.00 Ga; these values are similar to those obtained from the Greater Himalayan Crystalline Complex in Bhutan directly south of our sampling traverse, which has εNd(130 Ma) values of -10.89 to -16.32 and Nd model ages (TDM) of 1.73 to 2.20 Ga. From the above observations, we suggest that the Late Triassic strata of the southeast Tibetan THS were derived from the Lhasa block in the north, while the Early Cretaceous strata of the THS were derived from a source similar to the High Himalayan Crystalline Complex or Indian craton in the south. Our interpretation is consistent with the existing palaeocurrent data and provenance analysis of the Late Triassic strata in southeastern Tibet, which indicate the sediments derived from a northern source. 13δD values of escaped H_2 from hot springs at the Tengchong Rehai geothermal area and its origin显示文摘Here we give the δD values of escaped H2 from hot springs at the Tengchong Rehai and adjacent regions, and deal with a genetic correlation between the increment H2 in escaped gases from middle-shallow reservoirs and the H2S, CH4 derived from deep sources. Isotopic compositions of H2 indicate that the generation of increment H2 may be related to recent strong activity of N-W trending fault at the Rehai area. 14Biological productivity and carbon cycling in the Arctic Ocean显示文摘Primary production, bacterial production, par-ticulate organic carbon fluxes and organic carbon burial rates were quantified during the summer period of 1999 in the Arctic Ocean via 14C uptake, 3H uptake, 234Th/238U disequilibrium and 210Pbex dating, respectively. The integrated primary production in the water column was as high as 197 mmolC/(m2·d) in the Chukchi shelf and was 3.8 mmolC/(m2·d) in the Canada Basin. These rates are higher than those reported previously. The ratios of bacterial production to primary production in the study region were higher than 0.5, indicating that microbial activity is not depressed but important in cold Arctic waters. 234Th/238U dis-equilibria were evident at the station in the Canada Basin. The presence of significant 234Th deficiency suggested that scavenging and removal processes are also important to bio-geochemical cycles of trace elements in the Arctic Ocean. 15Variations in carbon isotope ratios of C_3 plants and distribution of C_4 plants along an altitudinal transect on the eastern slope of Mount Gongga显示文摘Variations in carbon isotopic ratios (δ 13C) of C3 plants and distribution of C4 plants were investigated along an altitudinal transect on the eastern slope of Mount Gongga, and the environmental effects on them were discussed. It is shown that plants with C4 photosynthetic pathway mainly occur at altitudes below 2100 m a.s.l., suggesting that the low summer temperature is responsible for the distributional pattern. In addition, δ 13C of C3 plants increases with elevation at the region above 2000 m a.s.l. with the characteristics of humid climate, and the increase rate in δ 13C for C3 plants is about 1.3‰ per kilometer. 17The LA-ICP-MS zircons U-Pb ages and geochemistry of the Baihua basic igneous complexes in Tianshui area of West Qinling显示文摘Baihua meta-igneous complex consists mainly of pyroxenite-gabbro(diorite)-diorite-quartz diorite. They form a complete comagmatic evolutionary series. The geochemical characteristics of basic-interme- diate basic igneous rocks indicate that they belong to a tholeiite suite. The REE distribution pattern is nearly flat type and LREE is slightly enriched type, and their primitive mantle-normalized and MORB-normalized trace element spider diagrams are generally similar; the LIL elements (LILE) Cs, Ba, Sr, Th and U are enriched, but Rb, K and the HFSEs Nb, P, Zr, Sm, Ti and Y are relatively depleted. All these show comagmatic evolution and origin characteristics. The tectonics environment discrimination of trace element reveals that these igneous complexes formed in an island-arc setting. The LA-ICP-MS single-zircons U-Pb age of Baihua basic igneous complex is 434.6±1.5 Ma (MSWD = 1.3), which proves that the formation time of the island-arc type magmatite in the northern zone of West Qinling is Late Ordovician or Early Silurian, also reveals that the timing of subduction of paleo-ocean basin represented by the Guanzizhen ophiolite and resulting island-arc-type magmatic activities is probably Middle-Late Ordovician to Early Silurian.PEI XianZhi DING SaPing ZHANG GuoWei LIU HuiBin LI ZuoChen LI GaoYang LIU ZhanQing MENG Yong 2007Science China Earth Sciences2007,50,z2:15
18Isotopic chronology and geological events of Precambrian complex in Taihangshan region显示文摘There are five major geological events in Precambrian complex, Taihangshan region determined by researching into geology and isotopic chronology of the complex. Basaltic magma erupted and quartz-dioritic to tonalitic magma intruded in earlier neo-Archaean, which formed horn-blende-plagiogneiss of Fuping gneiss complex and metamorphic mafic rock enclaves in TTG gneiss complex. Granulite fades metamorphism and emplacement of biotite-plagiogneiss occurred in late neo-Archaean. Extension and uplifting from the end of neo-Archaean to Paleoproterozoic era formed Chengnanzhuang large extensional deformation zones and metamorphic mafic veins emplaced into the deformation zones. Remobilization of Precambrian complex and tectonic uplifting in late Paleoproterozoic era formed Longquanguan ductile shear zone and emplacement of Nanying gneiss. 19Orogenic and Anorogenic Granitoids in the Altay Mountains of Xinjiang and Their Discrimination Criteria显示文摘On the basis of field geological studies of the granotoids in the region, mineralogical, petrological, geochemical(including stable isotope geochemical) and isotopic geochronological investigations were carried out on selected representative granitic bodies of various types. The authors have concluded that, apart from the bodies of the orogenic granitoid series, there also exist intrusions of the anorogenic granitoid series in the region. The intrusives of the two series were formed not only in different ages and tectonic environments, but also were derived from different sources of materials. Moreover, they are associated with different mineralizations, belonging to different minerologenetic series(Cheng et al., 1983). They show distinctly a series of discriminative criteria. 20An Sm-Nd isotopic dating study of the Archean Kongling Complex in the Huangling area of the Yangtze Craton显示文摘Sm Nd isotopic compositions of associated amphibolites, TTG gneisses and granitic gneisses from the Archean Kongling Complex of the Yangtze Craton, South China are systematically analyzed. The results show that the amphibolites and TTG gneisses have a similar age of ca. 2 700 Ma, which well agrees with zircon U Pb dating of previous studies.
