1Information hiding with adaptive steganography based on novel fuzzy edge identification显示文摘The evolution in communication techniques has created wide threats for crucial information transfer through a communication channel. Covert communication with steganography is a skill of concealing secret information within cover object and hence shields the data theft over rapidly growing network.Recently, diverse steganography techniques using edge identification have been proposed in literature.Numerous methods however utilize certain pixels in the cover image for inserting edge information, resulting in significant deformation. The conventional edge detection method limits the deployment of edge detection in steganography as concealing the information would introduce some variations to the cover image. Hence inserting data in pixel areas recognized by existing conventional edge detection techniques like canny cannot ensure the recognition of the exact edge locations for the cover and stego images. In this paper, an Adaptive steganography method based on novel fuzzy edge identification is proposed. The method proposed is proficient of estimating the precise edge areas of a cover image and also ensures the exact edge location after embedding the secret message. Experimental results reveal that the technique has attained good imperceptibility compared to the Hayat AI-Dmour and Ahmed AIAni Edge XOR method in spatial domain.Sanjeev Kumar Amarpal Singh Manoj Kumar 2019Defence Technology(防务技术)2019,15,2:2

9Analysis on multiple optical line terminal passive optical network based open access network显示文摘Passive optical networks (PONs) offer suffi-cient bandwidth to transfer huge amount having different packet sizes and data rates being generated by fusion of various networks. Additionally, multiple optical line terminals (OLTs) PONs reduce the computational com-plexity of data processing for nonuniform traffic. However, in order to improve the bandwidth allocation efficiency of a mixture of service providers, dynamic bandwidth algo-rithm (DBA) is needed for uplink communication. In this paper, a PON based open access network (OAN) is analyzed for bi-directional communication at various data rates. Multiple wavelengths are used to modulate the data of various service providers to evade the complicated DBA for uplink data broadcasting. The performance of the network is reported in terms of bandwidth exploitation, uplink effectiveness, overhead-to-data ratio and time cycle duration. The network is analyzed at various data rates to reveal the data accommodation capacity.Love KUMAR Amarpal SINGH Vishal SHARMA 2019Frontiers of Optoelectronics2019,12,2:0
10Guinea pigs as an animal model for sciatic nerve injury显示文摘The overwhelming use of rat models in nerve regeneration studies is likely to induce skewness in treatment outcomes. To address the problem, this study was conducted in 8 adult guinea pigs of either sex to investigate the suitability of guinea pig as an alternative model for nerve regeneration studies.A crush injury was inflicted to the sciatic nerve of the left limb, which led to significant decrease in the pain perception and neurorecovery up to the 4th weak.Lengthening of foot print and shortening of toe spread were observed in the paw after nerve injury.A 3.49 ± 0.35 fold increase in expression of neuropilin 1(NRP1) gene and 2.09 ± 0.51 fold increase in neuropilin 2(NRP2) gene were recorded 1 week after nerve injury as compared to the normal nerve.Ratios of gastrocnemius muscle weight and volume of the experimental limb to control limb showed more than 50% decrease on the 30 th day.Histopathologically, vacuolated appearance of the nerve was observed with presence of degenerated myelin debris in digestion chambers.Gastrocnemius muscle also showed degenerative changes.Scanning electron microscopy revealed loose and rough arrangement of connective tissue fibrils and presence of large spherical globules in crushed sciatic nerve. The findings suggest that guinea pigs could be used as an alternative animal model for nerve regeneration studies and might be preferred over rats due to their cooperative nature while recording different parameters.Malik Abu Rafee Amarpal Prakash Kinjavdekar Hari Prasad Aithal Sajad Ahmad Wani Irfan Ahmad Bhat 2017Neural Regeneration Research2017,12,3:0
