Stability Investigation on the Thin Films in Capillary显示文摘The stability of the thin liquid film in a capillary is important to the phase-change heat transfer process in miniature or micro structures. From the basic equations for motion and heat transfer at the interface of the film, its stability is theoretically studied. With evaluation of the effects and relative magnitudes of various driving forces and with the use of long-wave theory in addition to linear stability analysis, the controlling equations are simplified and an evolution equation for the film’s thickness is obtained. Detailed analysis on the evolution equation shows that instability occurs first in the meniscus region and the instability condition varies with boundary conditions, geometrical scales and thermal properties. The numerical results ape well with earlier ones with some favorable extensions and improvements. | Zhang Lichun Ma Tongze Ge Xinshi Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100080, China Department of Thermal Science and Energy Engineering, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, Anhui 230026, China, | 2001 | Journal of Thermal Science2001,10,2: | 1
OPPORTUNITIES AND APPROACHES FOR MANIPULATING SOIL-PLANT MICROBIOMES FOR EFFECTIVE CROP NITROGEN USE IN AGROECOSYSTEMS显示文摘Soil microbiomes drive the biogeochemical cycling of nitrogen and regulate soil N supply and loss, thus, pivotal nitrogen use efficiency(NUE).Meanwhile, there is an increasing awareness that plant associated microbiomes and soil food web interactions is vital for modulating crop productivity and N uptake. The rapid advances in modern omics-based techniques and biotechnologies make it possible to manipulate soil-plant microbiomes for improving NUE and reducing N environmental impacts. This paper summarizes current progress in research on regulating soil microbial N cycle processes for NUE improvement,plant-microbe interactions benefiting plant N uptake, and the importance of soil microbiomes in promoting soil health and crop productivity. We also proposes a potential holistic(rhizosphere-root-phyllosphere)microbe-based approach to improve NUE and reduce dependence on mineral N fertilizer in agroecosystems, toward nature-based solution for nutrient management in intensive cropping systems. | Jingjing PENG Olatunde OLADELE Xiaotong SONG Xiaotang JU Zhongjun JIA Hangwei HU Xuejun LIU Shuikuan BEI Anhui GE Limei ZHANG Zhenling CUI | 2022 | Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering2022,9,3: | 1
Effects of gamma ray strong irradiation in single crystal LiF显示文摘The electron spin resonance, transmission and reflection spectra showed that a steadily electron-type paramagnetic complex color point defect Fn center is produced by 60Co γ-ray strong dose irradiation in a single crystal LiF. The γ-ray irradiation dose is too large to recognize any character peak of F2, F2, F2, and F3 centers in the transmission and reflection spectra of the single crystal. LiF: Fn is opaque when wavelength is shorter than about 750nm and has not refiection when wavelength is shorter than about 800nm. The Fn center has a wide ESR peak with ΔBpp of 8 millitesla and the effect g-factor is 1.998±0.002. | HOU Bi-Hui LI Zhi-Wei YAO Kun CAI Zhang-Shun(Department of Physics, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei 230026)GE Yu-Xiang(Anhui Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences,Hefei 230031)Chen Yu-Tao(National | 2000 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2000,11,2: | 1
Dynamic behavior of micro-diaphragms and its characterized description显示文摘Diaphragm structures with micron scale play a significant role in microtransducers and micro-nano devices, and the performance of these devices depends mainly on the dynamic behaviour of diaphragms. Micro-diaphragms are treated commonly as membranes and in some cases as plates or plates in tension (called TD plates for short), but they also show in many cases the behaviour of plates in tension and supported by air spring (called TDK plates for short). Therefore, it is necessary to perform systematic research on the dynamic behaviour of micro-diaphragms, and establish a characterized mathematical description. This paper focuses on the TDK plates since they possess universality, gives the corresponding basic equations, and then derives analytical solutions of TDK circular plates under clamped and simply supported boundary conditions. This paper also gives a 3D plot representation of characteristic curved surfaces, revealing the transition from the TDK and TD plate to the pure plate or pure membrane behaviour; and further uses the value φ to determine the property of diaphragms. Its two extreme cases, i.e. φ = 0 and φ = ∞ , correspond to pure plate or pure membrane, respectively. Thus, membrane, plate and TD plate can be treated as special cases of TDK plate. In addition, this paper reveals that the presence of air-spring not only enhances the restoring force of diaphragm such that increases its natural frequencies, but also results in the resonance of a dynamic system consisting of diaphragm and air-spring. These analytical and computational results are significant for the understanding of the operation mechanism of capacitive microtransducers and their optimized design. | GE LiFeng School of Electronic Science and Technology, Anhui University, Hefei 230039, China | 2009 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2009,52,9: | 1

Mineral Composition and Metamorphic P-T Conditions of the Eclogitic Rocks in the Eastern Dabie Mountains and Their Genetic Implication显示文摘There are obvious differences in the mineral assemblage and metamorphic P-T conditions between the eclogites from the northern and southern parts of the eastern Dabie Mountains. Those from the northern part of the mountains are developed in Alpine peridotite and gneiss. They have a mineral assemblage of garnet+diopside with no quartz, and were formed at temperatures of 600℃-740℃. Those from the southern part are developed in gneiss and marble. They consist of garnet+omphacite+less quartz and were metamorphosed at temperatures in the range of 650°-800℃. These differences suggest that the former may be formed during the metamorphism of the deep subducted oceanic crust, whereas the latter may be genetically related to the subduction of the continental crust in this area. | Ge Ningjie, Li Shuguang, Peng Zhonghua and Liu Deliang Department of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, Anhui Jiang Minxi | 1993 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)1993,67,4: | 0
