8Numerical study of magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)boundary layer slip flow of a Maxwell nanofluid over an exponentially stretching surface with convective boundary condition显示文摘This paper focuses on a theoretical analysis of a steady two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic boundary layer flow of a Maxwell fluid over an exponentially stretching surface in the presence of velocity slip and convective boundary condition.This model is used for a nanofluid,which incorporates the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis.The resulting non-linear partial differential equations of the governing flow field are converted into a system of coupled non-linear ordinary differential equations by using suitable similarity transformations,and the resultant equations are then solved numerically by using Runge-Kutta fourth order method along with shooting technique.A parametric study is conducted to illustrate the behavior of the velocity,temperature and concentration.The influence of significant parameters on velocity,temperature,concentration,skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number has been studied and numerical results are presented graphically and in tabular form.The reported numerical results are compared with previously published works on various special cases and are found to be an in excellent agreement.It is found that momentum boundary layer thickness decreases with the increase of magnetic parameter.It can also be found that the thermal boundary layer thickness increases with Brownian motion and thermophoresis parameters.P.Bala Anki Reddy S.Suneetha N.Bhaskar Reddy 2017Propulsion and Power Research2017,6,4:1

16Multicomponent mixed metallic hierarchical ZnNi@Ni@PEDOT arrayed structures as advanced electrode for high-performance hybrid electrochemical cells显示文摘Engineering multicomponent nanomaterials as an electrode with rationalized ordered structures is a promising strategy for fulfilling the high-energy storage needs of supercapacitors(SCs).Even now,the fundamental barrier to utilizing hydroxides/hydroxyl carbonates is their poor electrochemical performance,resulting from the significantly poor electrical conductivity and sluggish charge storage kinetics.Hence,a multilayered structural approach is primarily and successfully used to construct electrodes as one of the efficient approaches.This method has made it possible to develop well-ordered nanostructured electrodes with good performance by taking advantage of tunable approach parameters.Herein,we report the design of multilayered heterostructure porous zinc-nickel nanosheets@nickel flakes hydroxyl carbonates and/or hydroxides integrated with conductive PEDOT fibrous network(i.e.,ZnNi@Ni@PEDOT) via facile synthesis methods.The combined hybrid electrode acquires the features of high electrical conductivity from one part and various valance states from another one to develop a well-organized nanosheet/flake/fibrous-like heterostructure with decent mechanical strength,creating robust synergistic results.Thus,the designed binder-free ZnNi@Ni@PEDOT electrode delivers a high areal capacity value of 1050.1 μA h cm^(-2) at 3 mA cm^(-2) with good cycling durability,significantly outperforming other individual electrodes.Moreover,its feasibility is also tested by constructing a hybrid electrochemical cell(HEC).The assembled HEC exhibits a high areal capacity value of 783.8 μA h cm^(-2) at5 mA cm^(-2).and even at a high current density of 100 mA cm^(-2)(484.6 μA h cm^(-2)),the device still retains a rate capability of 61,82%,Also,the HEC shows maximum energy and power densities of0.595 mW h cm^(-2) and 77.23 mW cm^(-2),respectively,along with good cycling stability.The obtained energy storage capabilities effectively power various electronic components.These results provide a viable and practical way to construct a positive electrode with innovative heterostructures for highperformance energy storage devices and profoundly influence the development of electrochemical SCs.Anki Reddy Mule Bhimanaboina Ramulu Shaik Junied Arbaz Jae Su Yu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,9:0
17Ag-integrated mixed metallic Co-Fe-Ni-Mn hydroxide composite as advanced electrode for high-performance hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Direct growth of redox-active noble metals and rational design of multifunctional electrochemical active materials play crucial roles in developing novel electrode materials for energy storage devices.In this regard,silver(Ag)has attracted great attention in the design of efficient electrodes.Inspired by the house/building process,which means electing the right land,it lays a strong foundation and building essential columns for a complex structure.Herein,we report the construction of multifaceted heterostructure cobalt-iron hydroxide(CFOH)nanowires(NWs)@nickel cobalt manganese hydroxides and/or hydrate(NCMOH)nanosheets(NSs)on the Ag-deposited nickel foam and carbon cloth(i.e.,Ag/NF and Ag/CC)substrates.Moreover,the formation and charge storage mechanism of Ag are described,and these contribute to good conductive and redox chemistry features.The switching architectural integrity of metal and redox materials on metallic frames may significantly boost charge storage and rate performance with noticeable drop in resistance.The as-fabricated Ag@CFOH@NCMOH/NF electrode delivered superior areal capacity value of 2081.9μA h cm^(-2)at 5 mA cm^(-2).Moreover,as-assembled hybrid cell based on NF(HC/NF)device exhibited remarkable areal capacity value of 1.82 mA h cm^(-2)at 5 mA cm^(-2)with excellent rate capability of 74.77%even at 70 mA cm^(-2)Furthermore,HC/NF device achieved maximum energy and power densities of 1.39 mW h cm^(-2)and 42.35 mW cm^(-2),respectively.To verify practical applicability,both devices were also tested to serve as a self-charging station for various portable electronic devices.Anki Reddy Mule Bhimanaboina Ramulu Shaik Junied Arbaz Anand Kurakula Jae Su Yu 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,88,1:0

19Thermal radiation effect on unsteady threedimensional MHD flow of micropolar fluid over a horizontal surface of a parabola of revolution显示文摘This paper explores the time-dependent magnetohydrodynamics(MHD)micropolar fluid flow over a three-dimensional variable stretching surface in the occurrence of radiation effect.The model time-dependent partial differential equations(PDE’s)in three independent variables are transformed into ordinary differential equations(ODE’s)by the suitable selfsimilarity variables.Homotopy perturbation method(HPM)and Runge-Kutta(RK)4^(th) order method along with shooting technique are used in the present model.And also,HPM results are compared with Runge-Kutta(RK)4^(th) order method along with the shooting technique.The velocity,micro rotation in x and y directions,temperature,skin friction factor and heat transfer rates are examined for the emerging parameters.The velocity profiles and momentum boundary layer thickness intensification with increasing values of the vortex viscosity parameter.The higher value of a magnetic parameter declines the skin friction coefficient.This type of investigation may be profitable to the polymer fluids,exotic lubricants,electronic chips,artificial fibers,drawing of copper wires,etc.S.R.R.Reddy P.Bala Anki Reddy 2022Propulsion and Power Research2022,11,1:0
20The assessment of time dependent flow of Williamson fluid with radiative blood flow against a wedge显示文摘The present pagination reports both Brownian diffusion and thermophoresis aspects subject to magneto hydrodynamic Williamson fluid model.Assuming the flow is unsteady and blood is treated as Williamson fluid over a wedge with radiation.The governing equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations by using similarity variables.The analytical solutions of the transformed governing equations are obtained by using the RK 4th order method along with shooting technique solver.The effects of various physical parameters such as Hartmann number,local Weissenberg number,radiation parameter,unsteadiness parameter,Prandtl number,Lewis number,Brownian diffusion,thermophoresis,wedge angle parameter,moving wedge parameter,on velocity,temperature,concentration,skin friction,heat transfer rate and mass transfer rate have been discussed in detail.The velocity and temperature profile deprives for larger We and an opposite trend is observed for concentration.The radiation parameter is propositional to temperature and a counter behaviour is observed for Pr.K.Subbarayudu S.Suneetha P.Bala Anki Reddy 2020Propulsion and Power Research2020,9,1:0
