| 1 | Assessment of the correlation between serum prolidase and alpha-fetoprotein levels in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM: To determine the predictive value of increased prolidase activity that reflects increased collagen turnover in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS: Sixty-eight patients with HCC(mean age of 69.1 ± 10.1), 31 cirrhosis patients(mean age of59.3 ± 6.3) and 33 healthy volunteers(mean age of51.4 ± 12.6) were enrolled in this study. Univariate and multivariate analysis were used to evaluate the association of serum α-fetoprotein(AFP) values with HCC clinicopathological features, such as tumor size,number and presence of vascular and macrovascular invasion. The patients with HCC were divided into groups according to tumor size, number and presence of vascular invasion(diameters; ≤ 3 cm, 3-5 cmand ≥ 5 cm, number; 1, 2 and ≥ 3, macrovascular invasion; yes/no). Barcelona-clinic liver cancer(BCLC)criteria were used to stage HCC patients. Serum samples for measurement of prolidase and alphafetoprotein levels were kept at-80 ℃ until use.Prolidase levels were measured spectrophotometrically and AFP concentrations were determined by a chemiluminescence immunometric commercial diagnostic assay.RESULTS: In patients with HCC, prolidase and AFP values were evaluated according to tumor size, number,presence of macrovascular invasion and BCLC staging classification. Prolidase values were significantly higher in patients with HCC compared with controls(P <0.001). Prolidase levels were significantly associated with tumor size and number(P < 0.001, P = 0.002,respectively). Prolidase levels also differed in patients in terms of BCLC staging classification(P < 0.001).Furthermore the prolidase levels in HCC patients showed a significant difference compared with patients with cirrhosis(P < 0.001). In HCC patients grouped according to tumor size, number and BCLC staging classification, AFP values differed separately(P = 0.032,P = 0.038, P = 0.015, respectively). | 2 | Thrombospondin-1 expression correlates with angiogenesis in experimental cirrhosis显示文摘AIM:To investigate the significance of Thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) expression and its relationship with angiogenesis during experimental fibrosis. METHODS:Cirrhosis was induced in male Wistar rats by intraperitoneal administration of diethyl nitrosamine (DEN). The serial sections from liver tissues were stained with anti-CD34 and anti-TSP-1 antibodies before being quantitated by light microscopy. RESULTS:Our results showed that of TSP-1 expression gradually increases according to the severity of fibrosis (GroupⅠvs group Ⅱ, Group Ⅲ and Group Ⅳ;Group Ⅱ vs group Ⅲ and group Ⅳ;group Ⅲ vs group Ⅳ, P < 0.05). Moreover, TSP-1 expression was found to be correlated with angiogenesis (P < 0.05). | 3 | 糖尿病视网膜病变患者高密度脂蛋白-3和总抗氧化能力以及NO_x水平分析(英文)显示文摘目的:比较糖尿病视网膜病变组与对照组数据,以研究高密度脂蛋白-3(HDL_3)、NO_x和总抗氧化状态之间的关系。方法:前瞻性病例对照研究。106例受试者分为3组,84例2型糖尿病有或无视网膜病变患者,对照组为22例正常人。患者均行血清高密度脂蛋白-3的浓度检测和血清NO_x水平测定。用铁还原法(FRAP)测量血浆总抗氧化能力。结果:糖尿病患者(DM)空腹血糖、糖化血红蛋白、甘油三酯显著高于对照组。正常人中HDL_3水平为14.4(12.0)mg/dL,糖尿病视网膜病变患者为18.1(12.6)mg/dL,糖尿病无视网膜病变患者为14.0(12.5)mg/dL,组间差异无统计学意义(P=0.262)。糖尿病患者FRAP水平低于对照组(P=0.003),但糖尿病视网膜病变组与非糖尿病视网膜病变组之间其差异无统计学意义。结论:研究发现:2型糖尿病视网膜病变患者、糖尿病无视网膜病变患者以及对照组间HDL和HDL_3水平无明显不同。HDL_3可能无法预测糖尿病视网膜病变患者的患病风险。糖尿病患者中血清NO_x水平较高,FRAP水平较低。 | Ustundag Yasemin Akdogan Müberra Demirci Hakan Günay Leyla Huysal Kagan Cevik Sadik Gorkem Barazi Ayse | 2017 | 国际眼科杂志2017，17，12： | 3 |
| 4 | Petrographic and Geochemicial Characteristics of the Kiziloren Formation (Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic) in the Akpinar (Konya,Turkey) Area显示文摘This paper describes the occurrence of dolomite and the mechanism of dolomitization of the Upper Triassic-Lower Jurassic Kiziloren Formation in the autochthonous Bolkardagi unit of the middle Taurus Mountains in south western Turkey. Dolomites were analyzed for geochemical, isotopic and crystallographic variation. Dolomites occur as a replacement of precursor carbonate and cement. The dolomite crystals range from <10 to ~1000 μm existing as both replacements and cements. Sr concentrations range between 84 and 156 ppm, and the molar Sr/Ca ratios of dolomitizing fluids are estimated to range between 0.0066 to 0.013 ratios. Dolomites are Ca-rich (with average CaCO3 and MgCO3 equal to 56.43 and 43.57 mol%, respectively) and they are non-stoichiometric, with an average Sr=116 ppm, Na=286 ppm, Mn=81 ppm, Fe=1329 ppm, and δ18O and δ13C ranges from -0.6‰ to -6.1‰ Pee Dee Belemnite [PDB], and +1.2 to +3.9‰ PDB. The North American Shale Composition [NASC]-normalized rare earth element (REE) values of the both limestone and dolomite sample groups show very similar REE patterns characterized by small positive Eu (mean=1.32 and mean=1.42, respectively) and slightly or considerably negative Ce (mean=0.61 and mean=0.72, respectively) anomalies and a clear depletion in all REE species.
