| 1 | One-step electrochemical reduction of stibnite concentrate in molten borax显示文摘In this study,antimony production from a stibnite concentrate(Sb2S3)was performed in one step using a molten salt electrolysis method and borax as an electrolyte.Electrochemical reduction of the stibnite concentrate was performed at 800℃under galvanostatic conditions and explained in detail by the reactions and intermediate compounds formed in the borax.The effects of current density(100 800 mA cm^-2)and electrolysis time(10 40 min)on cathodic current efficiency and antimony yields were systematically investigated.During the highest current efficiency,which was obtained at 600 mA cm^-2,direct metal production was possible with 62%cathodic current efficiency and approximately 6 kWh/kg energy consumption.At the end of the 40-min electrolysis duration at 600 mA cm^-2 current density,antimony reduction reached 30.7 g and 99%of the antimony fed to the cell was obtained as metal. | Levent Kartal Mehmet Baris Daryal Güldem Kartal Sireli Servet Timur | 2019 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2019，26，10： | 6 |
| 2 | Hepatic cystic echinococcosis:Percutaneous treatment as an outpatient procedure显示文摘Objective:To demonstrate utility and safety of the puncture aspiration injection and reospiration(PAIR)technique for outpatients.Methods:Percutaneous treatment with US guidance was applied to 33 patients for 44 cysts.Patients treated with the PAIR technique,were outpatients.PAIR and catheterization technique were evaluated for efficacy and safety of procedure and complication rates.Results:Thirty-five of 44 cysts were treated with the PAIR and 9 of 44 were treated with the catheterization technique.The success rate of the cysts Gharbi type 1(CEI)and type 2(Ct3a)treated with the PAIR technique was 1009.hi the follow up of 9 cysts treated with the catheterization technique,2 of them(22%)developed cyst infection and 1(11%)developed a biliary fistula.Conclusions:The PAIR technique was found to be an effective and safe approach in order to treat Gharbi type 1 and type 2 cysts percutaneously for outpatients.It has a very low complication rate in comparison with the catheterization technique.So every effort should be mode to finish the treatment with PAIR technique. | Mert Kroglu Bekir Erol Cemil Gürses Baris Türkbey Cem Yunus Bas Ahmet Sükrü Alparslan Banu Kale Kroglu Iclal Erdem Toslak Bülent eki Okan Akhan | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2014，7，3： | 4 |
| 3 | Effect of sodium tungstate on visual evoked potentials in diabetic rats显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the effect of sodium tungstate on visual evoked potentials(VEPs) in diabetic rats.· METHODS: Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups as normal control, diabetic control and diabetic rats treated with sodium tungstate. Diabetes was induced by single intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin(50 mg/kg). Sodium tungstate [40 mg/(kg·d)]was administered for 12 wk and then VEPs were recorded.Additionally, thiobarbituric acid reactive substance(TBARS) levels were measured in brain tissues.·RESULTS: The latencies of P1, N1, P2, N2 and P3 waves were significantly prolonged in diabetic rats compared with control group. Diabetes mellitus caused an increase in the lipid peroxidation process that was accompanied by changes in VEPs. However, prolonged latencies of VEPs for all components returned to control levels in sodium tungstate-treated group.
