1利用相分析、同位素地球化学及粘土矿物的证据识别西班牙马德里盆地中新统湖相单元中的湖平面变化显示文摘第三系马德里盆地中部埃斯基维亚斯地区出露的中新统湖相层序由两个主要的岩性地层单元组成,它们代表古湖泊体系的两个演化阶段.单元I由五种岩性相组成:(1)结核状碳酸盐岩和泥灰岩;(2)块状白云岩;(3)生物碎屑灰岩;(4)泥岩;(5)燧石.它们代表浅湖环境中沉积作用及早期成岩作用的特征.矿物学及同位素地球化学分析结果表明,在整个低水位时期包含两个主要阶段.初始阶段以非化学成因白云岩和三八面体蒙脱石的出现为标志.白云岩中高的δ^(18)O和δ^(13)C值(分别为+5.5‰和+2.9‰)指示强烈的蒸发条件.第二阶段以方解石、纤维状粘土矿物的出现和碳酸盐岩中一般较低的δ^(18)O(+1.5‰~-6.5‰)和δ^(13)C(-1‰~-9.8‰)值为特征,这反映了此阶段湖泊低水位时期湖水的淡化.单元Ⅱ包括七种岩性相:(1)砾石;(2)内碎屑泥岩;(3)纹层状泥灰岩;(4)块状泥岩;(5)硅藻泥灰岩;(6)纹层状生物碎屑灰岩;(7)植根扰动灰岩.砾岩和内碎屑泥岩与下伏单元I的沉积物呈侵蚀充填突变接触.结合碳酸盐岩中δ^(18)O(-0.7‰~-7.2‰)及δ^(13)C(-4.2‰~-8.6‰)同位素分析结果,我们论证了岩相组合是如何明确指示较深湖环境的.底部再沉积相表示湖侵的初期阶段.与单元I相反,单元Ⅱ主要为碎屑粘土矿物组合.这样,粘土矿物也支持了湖泊水体变淡的结论,并与古湖泊高水位期相符.A.
