2Bibliometric Study Applied to the Overtopping Wave Energy Converter Device显示文摘The present study aims to analyze the state of the art of scientific studies about the Overtopping device used to convert sea wave energy into electrical energy,by means the Bibliometric methodology.The development of this study took place through the selection of articles from conference proceedings,as well as national and international journals.The Bibliometric methodology consists of a statistical tool that allows quantifying the measurement of production indexes.Using selected keywords,it was conducted a survey of studies in the online databases of Science Direct,SciELO and Google Scholar.The works found then went through a filtering process,in order to limit the Bibliometric study only to studies about Overtopping devices as sea Wave Energy Converter(WEC).Finally,the investigation of these selected articles was carried out under the optics of production and authorship study,content study and study of bibliographic references.Where it was identified growth in publications related to the topic,methodologies used and,among other indicators,the authors most cited in the analyzed articles.The predominant keywords used were“Wave Energy Converter”and“Overtopping”.It was noted that Brazilian universities are leaders in the productivity,presenting more than 36%of the scientific production regarding Overtopping WECs.Maycon da Silveira Paiva Leonardo da Silva Silveira Liércio AndréIsoldi Bianca Neves Machado 2020Sustainable Marine Structures2020,2,1:0
3Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor liver metastasisin a patient with previously diagnosed pancreatic adenocarcinoma: an unexpected diagnosis显示文摘Locally advanced pancreatic carcinoma has an usually poor prognosis despite multimodal approaches and sequential chemotherapy.The authors present a case of a long-term survivor with stage III pancreatic adenocarcinoma achieving partial response after a multimodal approach including local and systemic treatments.However,three years after diagnosis and amidst several episodes of cholangitis,hepatic metastasis were suspected.Despite pancreatic adenocarcinoma being the obvious culprit for metastization,a hepatic biopsy was considered at that time given a stable primary disease and presenting three years since the initial diagnosis.At this point,a biopsy could have specific diagnostic,prognostic and therapeutic implications and after it was performed,an unexpected diagnosis of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor was made.Therefore,we urge clinicians to consider hepatic biopsy in similar cases-generally when it may change prognosis and treatment strategies-and perform histological confirmation of metastatic disease whenever feasible,even if the answer may seem obvious at first impression.Mario Fontes-Sousa Helena Magalhaes Bianca Machado Olga Sousa Manuela Machado 2018Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment2018,4,1:0
4A WW Domain-Containing Protein Forms Immune Nuclear Bodies against Begomoviruses显示文摘The bipartite begomoviruses (Geminiviridae family), which are DNA viruses that replicate in the nucleus of infected cells, encode the nuclear shuttle protein (NSP) to facilitate the translocation of viral DNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm via nuclear pores. This intracellular trafficking of NSP-DNA complexes is accessorized by the NSP-interacting guanosine triphosphatase (NIG) at the cytosolic side. Here, we report the nuclear redistribution of NIG by AtWWPI, a WW domain-containing protein that forms immune nuclear bodies (NBs) against begomoviruses. We demonstrated that AtWWPI relocates NIG from the cytoplasm to the nucleus where it is confined to AtWWP1-NBs, suggesting that the NIG-AtWWP1 interaction may interfere with the NIG pro-viral function associated with its cytosolic localization. Consistent with this assumpti on joss AtWWPI functi on cuased plants more susceptible to begomovirus infection, whereas overexpression of AWWP1 enhaneed plant resistance to begomovirus. Furthermore, we found that a mutant versi on of AtWWPI defective for NB formatio n was noIonger capable of interacti ng with and relocating NIG to the nucleus and lost its immune function against begomovirus. The antiviral function of AtWWP1-NBs, however, could be antagonized by viral infection that induced either the disruption or a decrease in the number of AtWWP1-NBs. Collectively, these results led us to propose that AtWWPI organizes nuclear structures into nuclear foci, which provide intrinsic immunity against begomovirus infection.lara P. Calil lana P.S.
