1Aircraft-on-ground path following control by dynamical adaptive backstepping显示文摘The necessity of improving the air traffic and reducing the aviation emissions drives to investigate automatic steering for aircraft to effectively roll on the ground. This paper addresses the path following control problem of aircraft-on-ground and focuses on the task that the aircraft is required to follow the desired path on the runway by nose wheel automatic steering. The proposed approach is based on dynamical adaptive backstepping so that the system model does not have to be transformed into a canonical triangular form which is necessary in conventional backstepping design. This adaptive controller performs well despite the lack of information on the aerodynamic load and the tire cornering stiffness parameters. 2Novel PAPR Reduction Scheme Based on Continuous Nonlinear Piecewise Companding Transform for OFDM Systems显示文摘In this paper,a novel efficient continuous piecewise nonlinear companding scheme is proposed for reducing the peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR)of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)systems.In the proposed companding transform,signal samples with large amplitudes is clipped for peak power reduction,and the signal samples with medium amplitudes is nonlinear transformed with power compensation.While the signal samples with small amplitudes remain unchanged.The whole companding function is continuous and smooth in the range of positive numbers,which is beneficial for guaranteeing the bit error rate(BER)and power spectral density(PSD)performance.This scheme can achieve a significant reduction in PAPR.And at the same time,it cause little increment in BER and PSD performance.Simulation results indicate the superiority of the proposed scheme over existing companding schemes.Zhitong Xing Kaiming Liu Kaiyuan Huang Bihua Tang Yuanan Liu 2020China Communications2020,17,9:4
3Wheat breeding in the hometown of Chinese Spring显示文摘The common wheat landrace Chinese Spring(CS) was made famous by the work of Ernie Sears, a great cytogenetist, who developed a number of CS-based aneuploid series that were used to identify individual wheat chromosomes. Based on this, a standard karyotype and nomenclature system was developed for wheat chromosomes that allowed wheat researchers to analyze and manipulate the wheat genome with unprecedented precision and efficiency. Nevertheless, not much is known about the utilization of CS at its hometown, Chengdu in Sichuan province, during early wheat breeding activity. In this review, we follow the speculation that CS is a selection from the Cheng-du-guang-tou(CDGT) landrace. We provide a description of how CDGT became a founder landrace for wheat breeding activities in early times. We show that CDGT-derived varieties were reinforced genetically by crosses to six more exotic parents. These varieties remained the major elite cultivar for several decades. Later, synthetic hexaploid wheats were introduced into the breeding program, firstly using those from CIMMYT and later using materials produced with local tetraploid wheat and goat grass. 4Concentration and distribution of 17 organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) in seawater from the Japan Sea northward to the Arctic Ocean显示文摘Seventeen classic organochlorine pesticides in surface seawater were studied in terms of their composition pattern as well as their distribution pattern in the areas covering the Japan Sea,Okhotsk Sea,Bering Sea,Chukchi Sea and Arctic Ocean.Their concentrations varied,but roughly two levels were seen with one ranging between 0.1 and 1 ng L-1 for most HCH isomers and the other lower than 0.1 ng L-1 for other chemicals.Of the 17 target compounds,HCHs were dominant with a total concentration percentage generally more than 50%,and a relatively high concentration percentage of heptachlor and aldrine was also observed at scattered stations.The historical long-term trend of several target chemicals in the five sea zones considered was discussed in comparison with previous reports.Inter-sea zone comparison was carried out for individual chemicals by comparing the concentration variation in all five sea zones.A higher variation in concentration was generally found in the northern sea zones,namely the Bering Sea,Chukchi Sea and Arctic Ocean,for most target compounds.The sum concentration of the 17 target chemicals displayed a general trend of increasing northward from the Japan Sea to the Okhotsk Sea to the Bering Sea to the Arctic Ocean.Different latitudinal trends were found forγ-HCH andγ-HCH,and the reason of this difference was discussed by considering their divergence of thermodynamic properties,which could contribute to a slightly different fractionation effect during their northward transport driven by atmospheric long range transport.The source of the HCHs was identified by analyzing theγ-HCH/γ-HCH ratio,which was less than 4 without exception,indicating a component characteristic featuring a mixture of technical HCHs and lindane.In addition,the vertical distribution ofγ-HCH,γ-HCH and their ratio at station B80 was discussed.Different patterns were found in the upper 300 m while in layers from 300 m downward to 3500 m the patterns were fairly comparable.The vertical profiles were used to correlate the water mass distribution,based on which four layers were tentatively classified at station B80.CAI MingGang 1,2,QIU CanRong 1,SHEN Yuan 1,CAI MingHong 3,HUANG ShuiYing 1,QIAN BiHua 1,SUN JiongHui 1 & LIU XiaoYan 1 1Department of Oceanography,College of Oceanography and Environmental Science,Xiamen University,Xiamen 361005,China 2State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science,Xiamen University,Xiamen 361005,China 3State Oceanic Administration Key Laboratory for Polar Science,Polar Research Institute of China,Shanghai 200136,China 2010Science China Chemistry2010,53,5:3
5Swelling acidic poly(ionic liquid)s as efficient catalysts for the esterification of cyclohexene and formic acid显示文摘Acidic poly(ionic liquid)s(PILs)with swelling ability were synthesized by free radical copolymerization of N-vinylimidazolium ionic liquids,divinylbenzene(DVB)and sodium acrylate(NaAA),and further acidification by sulfuric acid.The swelling ability of acidic PILs was greatly affected by cross-linker content and chain length of 3-alkyl-substituents on imidazolium.Cross-linked network structures could be observed from the cryogenic scanning electron microscopy(cryo-SEM)images of the swollen acidic PILs in formic acid.Acidic PILs with network structures in swollen state exhibited excellent activities in the esterification of cyclohexene and formic acid,and the catalytic activities were in positive correlation with their swelling abilities.Acidic PIL with 3-octyl-substituent and 2.5 mol%DVB(PIL-C8-2.5DVB-HSO4)had the highest swelling ability in formic acid and exhibited comparable catalytic activities with homogeneous catalysts such as sulfuric acid and p-toluenesulfonic acid.Xin Wang Sanguan Ma Bihua Chen Jingshun Zhang Yongya Zhang Guohua Gao 2020Green Energy & Environment2020,5,2:3

7Efficient synthesis of dimethyl carbonate via transesterification of ethylene carbonate catalyzed by swelling poly(ionic liquid)s显示文摘The synthesis of dimethyl carbonate(DMC)via transesterification of ethylene carbonate(EC)and methanol(MeOH)was an environmental and practical strategy.Herein,poly(ionic liquid)s(PILs)with swelling abilities were synthesized by free radical copolymerization of N-vinylimidazolium ionic liquids,sodium 4-vinylbenzoate and cross-linker(1,8-triethylene glycoldiyl-3,3'-divinylimidazolium bromide([(EG)_(3)-DVIm]Br_(2)).The swelling abilities of PILs in various solvents were measured,and PILs could swell in methanol(MeOH).The swelling ability of PILs in MeOH could be modulated by changing the cross-linker content and chain length of 3-alkyl-substituents on imidazolium.The swollen state of PILs in MeOH presented a porous cross-linked network structure observed by the cryo-scanning electron microscope(cryo-SEM).The swelling PILs were used to catalyze the transesterification of ethylene carbonate(EC)and MeOH to prepare the DMC,and the catalytic activities was correlated with the swelling abilities of PILs.The PIL with 3-butyl-substituent and 2.5 mol%cross-linker(poly[VBIm-VBA-DVIm]-2.5%)had the highest swelling ratio(Q=12.4(g/g))in MeOH and EC mixed solvents and exhibited excellent catalytic activities,which was similar to corresponding homogeneous ionic liquid.Furthermore,the catalyst could be reused up to seven runs without any considerable loss of its initial activity.Xin Wang Hao Hu Bihua Chen Lulu Dang Guohua Gao 2021Green Chemical Engineering2021,2,4:2
