| 1 | Effect of gastrin on differentiation of rat intestinal epithelial cells in vitro显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effect of gastrin on differentiation of IEC-6 cell line in vitro.METHODS: IEC-6 cells were incubated with gastrin. On day 7 after treatment, cell morphology was examined by light microscope, and on day 20, the cellular ultrastructures were examined by electron microscope. After exposure to gastrin for 6 hours, villin mRNA was analyzed by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction, and on day 7, the expression of villin was examined by immunocytochemical analysis with laser confocal microscope.RESULTS: After exposure to gastrin, IEC-6 cells showed differentiated phenotypes as villas enterocytes and contained an abundance of plasma, small nuclei with nucleoli, and were arranged regularly. There were numerous microvilli around edge of the cells, and several cells showed columnar structures. Villin mRNA expression in cytoplasm was increased in comparison with control.CONCLUSION: Differentiated characteristics of villus enterocytes and phenotypic changes of rat intestinal epithelial cells(IEC-6) are induced by gastrin, and the effects of gastrin are correlated to increased villin expression. | ZhouWang Wei-WenChen Ru-LiuLi BinWen Jing-BoSun | 2003 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2003，9，8： | 8 |
| 2 | Nitrogen and phosphorus balance analysis of cultivated land in Jiangsu plain,China显示文摘Jiangsu plain is located along the downstream of the Yangtze River, the north part of which is also the coast area of the Yellow Sea. The specific location makes the local environmental issues regionally important. This paper studied arable land area, plantation structure, livestock sector data, which shows that livestock sector contributes a big amount of nitrogen and phosphorus, in terms of the demand from the agriculture use in Jiangsu plain. But actually, there is still much mineral fertiliser used in agriculture, which causes the N and P produced from livestock sector being an important source of pollution to the environment. | 5 | Effects of Extra Al powder Additions on Properties of ZrN-based Composites Prepared by Aluminothermic Reduction and Nitridation Process显示文摘ZrN-based composites were synthesized from zirconia via aluminothermic reduction and nitridation proces with Al powders and Mg O as the reductant and sintering aids,respectively. ZrN-based composites are promising for application in the refractory materials or other high temperature industry fields. The effects of extra Al powder on physical properties,phase transformation and microstructures were investigated. Products with differen phase composition and morphologies were obtained with different Al powders additions. The products were composed of Zr N,ZrO_2,MgAl_2O_4,and Zr Al_3O_3 N by aluminothermal reduction and nitridation of zirconia with 0% extra Al powders addition. The diffraction peaks o Zr N were the strongest while peaks of ZrO_2 vanished with 6% extra Al addition. | 6 | Quantum-Inspired Equilibrium Optimizer for Linear Antenna Array显示文摘With the rapid development of communication technology,the problem of antenna array optimization plays a crucial role.Among many types of antennas,line antenna arrays(LAA)are the most commonly applied,but the side lobe level(SLL)reduction is still a challenging problem.In the radiation process of the linear antenna array,the high side lobe level will interfere with the intensity of the antenna target radiation direction.Many conventional methods are ineffective in obtaining the maximumside lobe level in synthesis,and this paper proposed a quantum equilibrium optimizer(QEO)algorithm for line antenna arrays.Firstly,the linear antenna array model consists of an array element arrangement.Array factor(AF)can be expressed as the combination of array excitation amplitude and position in array space.Then,inspired by the powerful computing power of quantum computing,an improved quantum equilibrium optimizer combining quantum coding and quantum rotation gate strategy is proposed.Finally,the proposed quantum equilibrium optimizer is used to optimize the excitation amplitude of the array elements in the linear antenna array model by numerical simulation to minimize the interference of the side lobe level to the main lobe radiation.Six differentmetaheuristic algorithms are used to optimize the excitation amplitude in three different arrays of line antenna arrays,the experimental results indicated that the quantum equilibrium optimizer is more advantageous in obtaining the maximum side lobe level reduction.Compared with other metaheuristic optimization algorithms,the quantum equilibrium optimizer has advantages in terms of convergence speed and accuracy. | Binwen Zhu Qifang Luo Yongquan Zhou | 2023 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023，，10： | 1 |
| 7 | Spatio-Temporal Expression Pattern of Six Novel Candidate Genes in Ginsenoside Biosynthesis from Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer显示文摘To explore the mode of the spatio-temporal expression of six newly discovered ginsenoside biosynthesis candidate gene transcripts, both Northern blotting and semi-quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) were used to elucidate the mRNA expression levels of the transcripts in various tissues and organs of Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer during different growth development stages. The six gene transcripts were all differentially expressed in cultured callus, root, stem, leaf, and seed.The mRNA expression levels were significantly higher in four-year-old roots than in one-year-old roots, and results of semi-quantitative RT-PCR assays were in accordance with those of Northern blotting analyses.The results strongly suggest that all six genes were differentially expressed at root-specific developmental stages. | 10 | Perspective on Local Governance Reform in China显示文摘This paper is an attempt to present an analysis of China’s decentralization and local governance practices, the dilemmas rooted in the current institution. We argue that the misbehavior of local government officials is endogenous to China’s central–local structure and that competition among localities has become distorted and constrained by various policy burdens and development mandates imposed from above. The information asymmetry for the enforcement cost of mandates that exists between central and local governments not only leads to difficulties and distortions in local performance evaluations, but also creates opportunities for local bureaucracy expansion and rent-seeking. Enhancing fiscal transfers, or strengthening political restraint, although necessary, would be far from enough to solve the local governance problems.
