| 1 | Effect of dilution holes on the performance of a triple swirler combustor显示文摘A triple swirler combustor is considered to be a promising solution for future high temperature rise combustors. The present paper aims to study dilution holes including primary dilution holes and secondary dilution holes on the performance of a triple swirler combustor. Experimental investigations are conducted at different inlet airflow velocities(40–70 m/s) and combustor overall fuel–air ratio with fixed inlet airflow temperature(473 K) and atmospheric pressure. The experimental results show that the ignition is very difficult with specific performance of high ignition fuel–air ratio when the primary dilution holes are located 0.6H(where H is the liner dome height)downstream the dome, while the other four cases have almost the same ignition performance. The position of primary dilution holes has an effect on lean blowout stability and has a large influence on combustion efficiency. | 2 | Global absorption center map of the mafic minerals on the Moon as viewed by CE-1 IIM data显示文摘Determining the global distribution of minerals on the Moon has been an important goal of lunar science. Hyperspectral remote sensing is an important approach to acquiring minerals on the Moon on the global scale. The wavelength of the absorption band center is the key parameter for identifying minerals with reflectance spectra as well as remote sensing data. The global absorption center map of the mafic minerals of the Moon was produced for the first time with the Chang’E-1 IIM data. This map shows the global distribution of mafic minerals such as orthopyroxenes, clinopyroxenes, and olivine and even plagioclase feldspar of the Moon. The validation for some representative areas indicates that the global map is reliable and even more detailed than the results derived from Clementine-data. Moreover, our method is insensitive to the topography and viewing and illumination geometries. The global absorption band center map not only contributes to the lunar science research, but also has other implications to be further studied. | 3 | Acidity of Aerosols during Winter Heavy Haze Events in Beijing and Gucheng, China显示文摘We investigated the acidity and concentrations of water-soluble ions in PM_(2.5) aerosol samples collected from an urban site in Beijing and a rural site in Gucheng, Hebei Province from November 2016 to January 2017 to gain an insight into the formation of secondary inorganic species. The average SO_4^(2–), NO_3~–, and NH_4^+ concentrations were 8.3,12.5, and 14.1 μg m^(–3), respectively, at the urban site and 14.0, 14.2, and 24.2 μg m^(–3), respectively, at the rural site.The nitrogen and sulfur oxidation ratios in urban Beijing were correlated with relative humidity(with correlation coefficient r = 0.79 and 0.67, respectively) and the aerosol loadings. Based on a parameterization model, we found that the rate constant of the heterogeneous reactions for SO_2 on polluted days was about 10 times higher than that on clear days, suggesting that the heterogeneous reactions in the aerosol water played an essential role in haze events.The ISORROPIA II model was used to predict the aerosol pH, which had a mean(range) of 5.0(4.9–5.2) and 5.3(4.6–6.3) at the urban and rural site, respectively. Under the conditions with this predicted pH value, oxidation by dissolved NO_2 and the hydrolysis of N_2O_5 may be the major heterogeneous reactions forming SO_4^(2–) and NO_3~– in haze.We also analyzed the sensitivity of the aerosol p H to changes in the concentrations of SO_4^(2–), NO_3~–, and NH_4^+ under haze conditions. The aerosol p H was more sensitive to the SO_4^(2–) and NH_4^+ concentrations with opposing trends, than to the NO_3~– concentrations. | 4 | Transparent conductive oxide-gated silicon microring with extreme resonance wavelength tunability显示文摘Transparent conductive oxides have attracted escalating research interest for integrated photonic devices and metasurfaces due to the extremely large electro-optic modulation of the refractive index by the free-carrier-induced plasma dispersion effect. In this paper, we have designed and fabricated a silicon microring resonator using an indium-tin oxide gate as the electric-tuning electrode. It achieved an ultralarge resonance wavelength tunability of 271 pm/V, which is obtained through the reduced width of the ring waveguide and a high-dielectric-constant Hf O2 insulator. | 17 | Prior-guided GAN-based interactive airplane engine damage image augmentation method显示文摘Deep learning-based methods have achieved remarkable success in object detection,but this success requires the availability of a large number of training images.Collecting sufficient training images is difficult in detecting damages of airplane engines.Directly augmenting images by rotation,flipping,and random cropping cannot further improve the generalization ability of existing deep models.We propose an interactive augmentation method for airplane engine damage images using a prior-guided GAN to augment training images.Our method can generate many types of damages on arbitrary image regions according to the strokes of users.The proposed model consists of a prior network and a GAN.The Prior network generates a shape prior vector,which is used to encode the information of user strokes.The GAN takes the shape prior vector and random noise vectors to generate candidate damages.Final damages are pasted on the given positions of background images with an improved Poisson fusion.We compare the proposed method with traditional data augmentation methods by training airplane engine damage detectors with state-ofthe-art object detectors,namely,Mask R-CNN,SSD,and YOLO v5.Experimental results show that training with images generated by our proposed data augmentation method achieves a better detection performance than that by traditional data augmentation methods. | Rui HUANG Bokun DUAN Yuxiang ZHANG Wei FAN | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,10: | 1 |
