1Performance of biotrickling filters packed with structured or cubic polyurethane sponges for VOC removal显示文摘Two identical bench-scale biotrickling filters (BTFs),BTF 1 and BTF 2,were evaluated for toluene removal at various gas empty bed contact times (EBCTs) and organic loadings.BTF 1 and BTF 2 were packed with structured and cubic synthetic polyurethane sponges,respectively.At a constant toluene loading of 16 g/(m 3 ·hr),toluene removal efficiencies decreased from 98.8% to 64.3% for BTF 1 and from 98.4% to 74.1% for BTF 2 as gas EBCT decreased from 30 to 5 sec.When the toluene loading increased from 35 to 140 g/(m 3 ·hr) at a gas EBCT of 30 sec,the removal efficiencies decreased from 99.1% to 77.4% for BTF 1 and from 99.0% to 81.5% for BTF 2.The pressure drop for both BTFs increased with increased air flow rate,and did not significantly vary while the toluene loading was increased under similar operation conditions.BTF 1 and BTF 2 could start up successfully within 19 and 27 days,respectively,when packed with fresh sponge media,and the performances could be restored in 3-7 days after biomass was removed and wasted from the media.BTF 2 displayed higher removal efficiency even under shorter EBCT or higher loading rate than BTF1 when other operation conditions were similar,while it showed lower pressure drop than BTF 1 during the whole period of operation.These results demonstrated that both BTFs could treat waste gas containing toluene effectively.Chunping Yang Guanlong Yu Guangming Zeng Haining Yang Fayuan Chen Congying Jin 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,8:10
2Analytical and Experimental Studies on Critical Blank-holder Forces in Cylindrical cup deep drawing显示文摘Based on the plastic deformation theory and energy method, the critical blank-holder forces (BHF) of wrinkling and fracture in the cylindrical cup deep-drawing are analyzed. The verify experiments were performed and compared with the theory analysis results. The predictions agree well with the experiment results. 3Topology of Current-limiting and Energy-transferring DC Circuit Breaker for DC Distribution Networks显示文摘With the development of power electronic technologies and distributed power generation,DC distribution networks attract increasing attention due to their various advantages compared with traditional AC distribution networks.However,DC fault protection is one of the major issues in DC distribution networks.To improve their reliability and protect the semiconductor devices under DC faults,a current-limiting and energy-transferring DC circuit breaker topology is proposed in this paper.By applying passive components and thyristors,the proposed topology is capable of quickly limiting the fault current and transferring the faulty energy.The working principle,mathematical model and parameter designing method of the proposed topology are presented in this paper.The simulation results verify that the proposed DC circuit breaker could effectively limit the fault current and quickly interrupt the fault current.Cost and conduction power loss evaluation proves the practicality of the proposed topology in medium-voltage DC distribution networks.Song Tang Min Chen Guanlong Jia Chenghao Zhang 2020CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2020,6,2:3

5The Effect of Variable Blank-Holder Forces on the Formability of Aluminum Alloy Sheets during Sheet Metal Forming显示文摘In this paper, the effect of variable Blank-holder forces (VBHF) on the strain path during sheet metal forming has been investigated by numerical simulation and experiments. The formability of select aluminum alloy sheet was evaluated by theory prediction of forming limit curve based on the M-K method. The effect of different VBHF on the formability was presented. In order to verify the predictions of strain path, experiments are being carried out using a recently-built multi-points variable blank-holder forces hydraulic press. 13Side-polished SMS based RI sensor employing macro-bending perfluorinated POF显示文摘A refractive index(RI)sensor based on perfluorinated plastic optical fiber(PF-POF)is introduced in this paper.The PF-POF as multi-mode fiber was side-polished(SP)to form a macro-bending single-mode-multimode-single-mode(SMS)structure.Both ends of the sensor were closely connected to single-mode quartz optical fiber(SMF).The spectral char-acteristics of the sensor are measured,analyzed and discussed.The results show that when the length of PF-POF is 8 cm,the macro-bending radius is 3 cm,and the SP-depth is 20μm.The intensity sensitivity reaches−219.504 dBm/RIU in the range of RI=1.330~1.356.A reference is provided for the application of PF-POF in RI sensor in the future.The sensor is featured with low-cost,good flexibility and high efficiency.Xuezhi Zhang Boyue Yang Junfeng Jiang Kun Liu Xiaojun Fan Zhaozhu Liu Min Peng Guanlong Chen Tiegen Liu 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,10:1
