2The art of two-dimensional soft nanomaterials显示文摘The discovery of graphene has triggered the explosive development of two-dimensional(2D) nanomaterials, including both inorganic and organic species. Benefiting from the simple elemental composition, inorganic 2D nanomaterials were the center research in the past decade, which has long shadowed the research of 2D organic(or soft) nanomaterials. Although many kinds of2D soft nanomaterials have been successfully prepared, a unified definition for them is still impossible due to the complicate and quite different chemical structures between each other and even relying on totally different techniques to distinguish them. Since our first review on 2D soft nanomaterials in 2015, this field has moved forward with big success. In this review, we will focus on the development of 2D soft nanomaterials after 2015. 3A TiC_x reinforced Fe(Al) matrix composite using in-situ reaction显示文摘A new Fe matrix composite reinforced by the in-situ generated TiCx grains was prepared using the element Fe and Ti3AlC2 powders as the starting materials.Several hot-pressing temperatures were tried for exploring the phase transformation behavior from Ti3AlC2 to TiC x.Microstructures of the hot-pressed product were observed and analyzed.A tensile test was carried out for the new composite material,and the fracture face was analyzed.The results showed that the starting Ti3AlC2 was wholly decomposed and transformed into submicron TiC x grains at the hotpressing temperature above 1100℃.Most of the Al ions escaped from Ti3AlC2 were aggregated at the grain boundary of Fe grains,but a small amount of Al ions could be absorbed by Fe and formed Fe(Al) alloy around the surface of Fe grains.The prepared material exhibited a higher tensile strength of about 660 MPa and a uniform deformation of about 7%.Xinhua Chen Hongxiang Zhai Wenjuan Wang Shibo Li Zhenying Huang 2013Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2013,23,1:2
4The behavior of 3d electrons and defects in TiAl-based alloys containing V and Cu studied by positron annihilation显示文摘Information of defects and 3d electrons in transition metals (Ti,V,Cu) and TiAl-based alloys (Ti50Al50,Ti50Al48V2,Ti50Al48Cu2) can be extracted from the positron lifetime and coincidence Doppler broadening spectra. The results show that the 3d electron signals for the transition metals Ti,V and Cu increase with the number of 3d electrons. The 3d electron signal and the electron density for binary TiAl alloy are relatively low due to the (Ti)3d-(Al)3p interactions. The addition of V and Cu atoms to TiAl alloy leads to the increase in the electron densities in bulk and the defects on grain boundaries simultaneously,as well as the enhancement of the 3d electron signal. 5A Review of Co-processing of Kitchen Waste and Municipal Residual Sludge显示文摘In this paper,the methods of kitchen waste disposal in recent years were summed up,and the advantages and disadvantages of the current treatment methods were analyzed. At the same time,it has been found that the co-processing of kitchen waste and residual sludge not only has dealt with both kitchen waste and residual sludge,but also the carbon and nitrogen ratio and moisture content of the mixture are balanced,and increases the processing efficiency significantly. It has a certain processing advantage. At present,most research is about the anaerobic digestion of kitchen waste and residual sludge,and the process is more mature,but the study of VFAs accumulation is still insufficient. Aerobic composting is still in the early stage of development,and there are few studies on it at home and abroad. 6Two Ultraviolet Radiation Datasets that Cover China显示文摘Ultraviolet(UV) radiation has significant effects on ecosystems, environments, and human health, as well as atmospheric processes and climate change. Two ultraviolet radiation datasets are described in this paper. One contains hourly observations of UV radiation measured at 40 Chinese Ecosystem Research Network stations from 2005 to 2015. CUV3 broadband radiometers were used to observe the UV radiation, with an accuracy of 5%, which meets the World Meteorology Organization's measurement standards. The extremum method was used to control the quality of the measured datasets. The other dataset contains daily cumulative UV radiation estimates that were calculated using an all-sky estimation model combined with a hybrid model. The reconstructed daily UV radiation data span from 1961 to 2014. The mean absolute bias error and root-mean-square error are smaller than 30% at most stations, and most of the mean bias error values are negative, which indicates underestimation of the UV radiation intensity. These datasets can improve our basic knowledge of the spatial and temporal variations in UV radiation. 11Effects of Phosphorus Concentration on the Treatment of Domestic Wastewater by a Combination of Hydrolytic Acidification and Biological Aerated Filter Filled with Mussel Shells显示文摘The combination of hydrolytic acidification and biological aerated filter( BAF) filled with mussel shells was used to treat domestic wastewater,and the removal rates of chemical oxygen demand( COD),ammonia nitrogen( NH_3-N) and total phosphorus( TP) by the system were analyzed under different TP concentrations. When TP concentration ranged from 12. 39 to 14. 69 mg / L,the removal rate of COD was the best,over 90. 92%; as TP concentration varied from 2. 26 to 2. 61 mg / L,the removal rates of NH_3-N and TP were the best,up to 100. 00% and76. 38% respectively. 13Overexpression of PvWOX3a in switchgrass promotes stem development and increases plant height显示文摘Switchgrass(Panicum virgatum L.)is an important perennial,noninvasive,tall ornamental grass that adds color and texture to gardens and landscapes.Moreover,switchgrass has been considered a forage and bioenergy crop because of its vigorous growth,low-input requirements,and broad geography.Here,we identified PvWOX3a from switchgrass,which encodes a WUSCHEL-related homeobox transcription factor.Transgenic overexpression of PvWOX3a in switchgrass increased stem length,internode diameter,and leaf blade length and width,all of which contributed to a 95%average increase in dry weight biomass compared with control plants.Yeast one-hybrid and transient dual-luciferase assays showed that PvWOX3a can repress the expression of gibberellin 2-oxidase and cytokinin oxidase/dehydrogenase through apparently direct interaction with their promoter sequences.These results suggested that overexpression of PvWOX3a could increase gibberellin and cytokinin levels in transgenic switchgrass plants,which promotes cell division,elongation,and vascular bundle development.We also overexpressed PvWOX3a in a transgenic miR156-overexpressing switchgrass line that characteristically exhibited more tillers,thinner internodes,and narrower leaf blades.Double transgenic switchgrass plants displayed significant increases in internode length and diameter,leaf blade width,and plant height but retained a tiller number comparable to that of plants expressing miR156 alone.Ultimately,the double transgenic switchgrass plants produced 174%more dry-weight biomass and 162%more solubilized sugars on average than control plants.These findings indicated that PvWOX3a is a viable potential genetic target for engineering improved shoot architecture and biomass yield of horticulture,fodder,and biofuel crops.Ruijuan Yang Zhenying Wu Chen Bai Zhichao Sun Mengqi Wang Yuzhu Huo Hailing Zhang Yamei Wang Huapeng Zhou Shaojun Dai Wenwen Liu Chunxiang Fu 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

15Comparison of settlement behaviors of high-food-waste-content(HFWC) and low-food-waste-content(LFWC) MSWs and assessment of their prediction models显示文摘Settlement behaviors of high-food-waste-content(HFWC) and low-food-waste-content(LFWC) municipal solid wastes(MSWs) respectively from developing and developed countries were characterized and compared based on a great number of experimental datasets from references. Fresh HFWC-MSW generally has larger primary compression ratio compared to fresh LFWC-MSW, due to the release of a large amount of intra-particle water contained in food waste under additional stresses. The slopes of strain-logarithmic time curves with respect to the three secondary compression phases are characterized as 'slightsteep-slight' for LFWC-MSWand 'moderate-moderate-slight' for HFWC-MSW. It is difficult to distinguish the first two phases of the secondary compression in strain-logarithmic time curves for HFWC-MSW. The entropy method was built to evaluate the performance and applicability of nine published settlement models based on the settlement datasets of four large-scale experiments. The computational simplicity, the fitting performance, the prediction performance and the parametric stability were taken as the four criterions in the entropy method. 16Low glucose metabolite 3-phosphoglycerate switches PHGDH from serine synthesis to p53 activation to control cell fate显示文摘Glycolytic intermediary metabolites such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate can serve as signals,controlling metabolic states beyond energy metabolism.However,whether glycolytic metabolites also play a role in controlling cell fate remains unexplored.Here,we find that low levels of glycolytic metabolite 3-phosphoglycerate(3-PGA)can switch phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase(PHGDH)from cataplerosis serine synthesis to pro-apoptotic activation of p53.PHGDH is a p53-binding protein,and when unoccupied by 3-PGA interacts with the scaffold protein AXIN in complex with the kinase HIPK2,both of which are also p53-binding proteins.This leads to the formation of a multivalent p53-binding complex that allows HIPK2 to specifically phosphorylate p53-Ser46 and thereby promote apoptosis.Furthermore,we show that PHGDH mutants(R135W and V261M)that are constitutively bound to 3-PGA abolish p53 activation even under low glucose conditions,while the mutants(T57A and T78A)unable to bind 3-PGA cause constitutive p53 activation and apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)cells,even in the presence of high glucose.In vivo,PHGDH-T57A induces apoptosis and inhibits the growth of diethylnitrosamine-induced mouse HCC,whereas PHGDH-R135W prevents apoptosis and promotes HCC growth,and knockout of Trp53 abolishes these effects above.Importantly,caloric restriction that lowers whole-body glucose levels can impede HCC growth dependent on PHGDH.Together,these results unveil a mechanism by which glucose availability autonomously controls p53 activity,providing a new paradigm of cell fate control by metabolic substrate availability.Yu-Qing Wu Chen-Song Zhang Jinye Xiong Dong-Qi Cai Chen-Zhe Wang Yu Wang Yan-Hui Liu Yu Wang Yiming Li Jian Wu Jianfeng Wu Bin Lan Xuefeng Wang Siwei Chen Xianglei Cao Xiaoyan Wei Hui-Hui Hu Huiling Guo Yaxin Yu Abdul Ghafoor Changchuan Xie Yaying Wu Zheni Xu Cixiong Zhang Mingxia Zhu Xi Huang Xiufeng Sun Shu-Yong Lin Hai-Long Piao Jianyin Zhou Sheng-Cai Lin 2023Cell Research2023,33,11:0
17Ball Tips of Micro/Nano Probing Systems:A Review显示文摘To satisfy the measuring demands for the micro components of the industry, micro/nano probing systems with various ball tips have been developed. However, most of them cannot be used to measure the real micro geometrical features high precisely because the parameters of the ball tips are not appropriate. The ball tips with a diameter of less than 100 μm, a sphericity and eccentricity of far less than 1 μm are required urgently. A review on the state-of-the-art of ball tips of micro/nano probing systems is presented. The material characteristics and geometric parameters of now available ball tips are introduced separately. The existing fabrication methods for the ball tips are demonstrated and summarized. The ball tips' future trends,which are smaller diameter, better sphericity and smaller eccentricity, are proposed in view of the practical requirements of high-precision measurement for micro geometrical features. 18Simultaneous Determination of Gallic Acid and Cinnamic Acid Content in Rhubarb by HPLC显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to determine the contents of gallic acid and cinnamic acid in Chinese herb rhubarb by HPLC.[Method]High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was established with the following conditions:Thermo SCIENTIFIC Hypersil GOLD Dim column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm),mobile phase methanol-0.1%phosphoric acid solution,gradient elution,detection wavelength 278 nm,flow rate 1.0 mL/min,column temperature 30℃,injection volume 10 pL.[Result]The content of gallic acid and cinnamic acid in rhubarb was determined by HPLC,and they showed good linear relationship in the linear ranges of 0.125-1.250 pg(E2=0.9998)and 0.0382-0.3820μg(E2=0.9994),respectively.[Conclusion]A HPLC method is established to determine gallic acid and cinnamic acid content in rhubarb.The method will provide a scientific basis for quality control of rhubarb and its traditional Chinese medicine.Han Qian Wei Jiangcun Chen Yong Shi Xianyi Wu Yuyan Fu Zhenying Huang Zhouyan Liu Wenjun 2020Plant Diseases and Pests2020,11,3:0
