1A Note on Reviving the Goddard Satellite-Based Surface Turbulent Fluxes (GSSTF) Dataset显示文摘Accurate sea surface flux measurements are crucial for understanding the global water and energy cycles. The oceanic evaporation, which is a major component of the global oceanic fresh water flux, is useful for predicting oceanic circulation and transport. The global Goddard Satellite-based Surface Turbulent Fluxes Version-2 (GSSTF2; July 1987–December 2000) dateset that was o?cially released in 2001 has been widely used by scientific community for global energy and water cycle research, and regional and short period data analyses. We have recently been funded by NASA to resume processing the GSSTF dataset with an objective of continually producing a uniform dataset of sea surface turbulent fluxes, derived from remote sensing data. The dataset is to be reprocessed and brought up-to-date (GSSTF2b) using improved input datasets such as a recently upgraded NCEP/DOE sea surface temperature reanalysis, and an upgraded surface wind and microwave brightness temperature V6 dataset (Version 6) from the Special Sensor Microwave Imager (SSM/I) produced by Remote Sensing Systems (RSS). A second new product (GSSTF3) is further proposed with a finer temporal (12-h) and spatial (0.25°× 0.25°) resolution. GSSTF2b (July 1987–December 2008) and GSSTF3 (July 1999–December 2009) will be released for the research community to use by late 2009 and early 2011, respectively.Chung-Lin SHIE Long S. 2Relay selection with feedback beamforming information through designed sector sweep report frame for mmWave WPANs显示文摘This paper proposes a novel relay selection strategy based on the feedback beamforming(BF)information through designed sector sweep(SSW)report frame for millimeter-wave(mmWave)wireless personal networks(WPANs).First,an SSW report frame compatible with IEEE 802.11ad standard is designed.Second,an approach collecting instantaneous channel state information(CSI)overheard during BF is devised.Third,with the aim of minimizing the outage probability and maximizing the overall network throughput capacity,the optimal relay selection issue for non-line-of-sight(NLoS)links is formulated as a bipartite graph,and Kuhn Munkres(KM)algorithm is provided to resolve it.Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show,with CSI considering NLoS conditions and selected relays according to the overall network throughput capacity maximization principle,the improvements achieved over opportunistic relay selection strategy in terms of overall network throughput capacity and outage probability with minimal modifications to IEEE 802.11ad.CHU HongYun XU PingPing SUN Lin ZHANG SuHeng 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,8:1

5Analysis of pollutant removal effect usinginnovative ridge-shaped constructed wetland显示文摘In this paper,a new type of ridge-shaped constructed wetland which combines surface flow and horizontal subsurface flow was proposed.The proposed wetland had simple structure,low construction and operating cost,less human interference and good pollution removal effect.The combination of surface flow and subsurface flow provided an aerobic and anaerobic alternating environment for the entire wetland.The performance of the proposed wetland was compared with a traditional horizontal subsurface flow wetland.The comparison results showed that the removal rates of BOD(biochemical oxygen demand),TN(total nitrogen),and TP(total phosphorus)in the ridge-shaped wetland increased up to 20.3%,17.0%,and 9.1%,respectively.The proposed wetland structure could be widely applied for treatment of rural and urban domestic sewage pollution or agricultural point and nonpoint source water pollution.CHU Pingping HAN Yancheng EASA SAID M ZHANG Haonan LIANG Mengyuan WANG Yuelei 2020南水北调与水利科技(中英文)2020,18,2:0
6Structural and Optical Properties of Ce^(3+), Yb^(3+) Co-doped YAG Films by Pulsed Laser Deposition显示文摘Ce3+, Yb3+ co-doped Y3Al5O12 films were prepared by pulse laser deposition. X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectra were used to characterize their structural and luminescent properties. Near-infrared quantum cutting from the films was observed via a cooperative energy transfer from Ce3+ to Yb3+ ions.
