1Seeker optimization algorithm:a novel stochastic search algorithm for global numerical optimization显示文摘A novel heuristic search algorithm called seeker optimization algorithm(SOA) is proposed for the real-parameter optimization.The proposed SOA is based on simulating the act of human searching.In the SOA,search direction is based on empirical gradients by evaluating the response to the position changes,while step length is based on uncertainty reasoning by using a simple fuzzy rule.The effectiveness of the SOA is evaluated by using a challenging set of typically complex functions in comparison to differential evolution(DE) and three modified particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithms.The simulation results show that the performance of the SOA is superior or comparable to that of the other algorithms.Chaohua Dai Weirong Chen Yonghua Song Yunfang Zhu 2010Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,2:13

3Improvements on global meteorological observations from the current Fengyun 3 satellites and beyond显示文摘The Fengyun 3(FY-3)series is the second generation of Chinese sun-synchronous meteorological satellites.The first two,FY-3A and FY-3B,were launched successfully on 27 May 2008 and 5 November 2010,respectively.FY-3A and FY-3B share the same design,equipped with 11 payloads to observe the Earth system,but FY-3A is on a monitoring-orbit and FY-3B is on an afternoon-orbit.As a satellite constellation,FY-3A and FY-3B comprehensively improved meteorological observations in spectral wavelength,spatial coverage,and temporal frequency.This paper summarizes the improvements of the FY-3A and FY-3B satellites.New features,including optical imaging capacity from kilometer to hundred-meter resolution,passive microwave imaging,atmospheric temperature and moisture sounding,atmospheric chemistry remote sensing,and Earth radiation budget measurement,are presented with demonstrations of their use.Instruments scheduled for the FY-3C and beyond are introduced as well.Jun Yang Peng Zhang Naimeng Lu Zhongdong Yang Jinming Shi Chaohua Dong 2012International Journal of Digital Earth2012,5,3:11

5BRIF and CARIF progress显示文摘China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) is currently constructing Beijing rare ion beam facility (BRIF) and is proposing China advanced rare ion beam facility (CARIF). This paper is aiming at introducing the progress of BRIF project and the con ceptual design CARIF. The ISOL type facility BRIF under construction is composed of a 100 MeV 300 ?A proton cyclotron, an ISOL with mass resolution of 20000, and a super-conducting LINAC of 2 MeV/q, and will be commissioned in 2013. CARIF facility proposed is planned to use both ISOL and PF techniques. It is based on a China advanced research reactor CARR that was critical, with ISOL separation of fission fragment, post acceleration to 150 MeV/u, and fragmentation of neu tron-rich fission fragment beam like 132Sn. 6Hydraulic support crushed mechanism for the shallow seam mining face under the roadway pillars of room mining goaf显示文摘While the fully-mechanized longwall mining technology was employed in a shallow seam under a room mining goaf and overlained by thin bedrock and thick loose sands, the roadway pillars in the abandoned room mining goaf were in a stress-concentrated state, which may cause abnormal roof weighting, violent ground pressure behaviours, even roof fall and hydraulic support crushed(HSC) accidents. In this case,longwall mining safety and efficiency were seriously challenged. Based on the HSC accidents occurred during the longwall mining of 3-1-2 seam, which locates under the intersection zone of roadway pillars in the room mining goaf of 3-1-1 seam, this paper employed ground rock mechanics to analyse the overlying strata structure movement rules and presented the main influence factors and determination methods for the hydraulic support working resistance. The FLAC3 D software was used to simulate the overlying strata stress and plastic zone distribution characteristics. Field observation was implemented to contrastively analyse the hydraulic support working resistance distribution rules under the roadway pillars in strike direction, normal room mining goaf, roadway pillars in dip direction and intersection zone of roadway pillars. The results indicate that the key strata break along with rotations and reactions of the coal pillars deliver a larger concentrated load to the hydraulic support under intersection zone of roadway pillars than other conditions. The ‘‘overburden strata-key strata-roadway pillars-immediate roof' integrated load has exceeded the yield load that leads to HSC accidents. 7System integration of China's first PEMFC locomotive显示文摘In the face of growing environmental pollution,developing a fuel-cell-driven shunting locomotive is a great challenge in China for environmental protection and energy saving,which combines the environmental advantages of an electric locomotive with the lower infrastructure costs of a diesel-electric locomotive.In this paper,the investigation status and the development trend of the fuel-cell-driven shunting locomotive were introduced.Through innovation of the power system using fuel cells,an experiment prototype of a fuel-cell shunting locomotive was developed,which would reduce the effects on the environment of the existing locomotives.This was the first locomotive to use a proton exchange membrane fuel-cell(PEMFC) power plant in China.From October 2012,we started to test the fuel-cell power plant and further test runs on the test rail-line in Chengdu,Sichuan.The achieved encouraging results can provide fundamental data for the modification of the current individual fuel cell locomotives or further development of the fuel-cell hybrid ones in China.WeiRong Chen Fei Peng Zhixiang Liu Qi Li Chaohua Dai 2013Journal of Modern Transportation2013,21,3:7

9Rationally pairing photoactive materials for high-performance polymer solar cells with efficiency of 16.53%显示文摘The emergence of non-fullerene acceptors(NFA) offers a promising opportunity to develop high-performance donor/acceptor pairs with high power conversion efficiency,as NFAs offer tunable energy levels,broad absorption and suitable aggregation property.In order to enhance light-harvesting capability of active layers,we choose a wide bandgap polymer PTQ10 as the donor to blend with a narrow bandgap NFAY6 as the acceptor.In comparison with PTQ10:IDIC blend,~130 nm red-shifted absorption spectrum is observed in the PTQ10:Y6 blend,which potentially enhance the short-circuit current density(Jsc) for the PSCs.In addition,the optimal PTQ10:Y6 blend shows higher photoluminescence quenching efficiency and more efficient charge separation,higher charge mobilities,as well as weaker bimolecular recombination over the PTQ10:IDIC blend,which leads to an outstanding power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 16.53%,with a notable Jsc of 26.65 mA cm^-2 and fill factor(FF) of 0.751.Yue Wu Yan Zheng Hang Yang Chenkai Sun Yingying Dong Chaohua Cui He Yan Yongfang Li 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,2:5

12Selenium deficiency induces spleen pathological changes in pigs by decreasing selenoprotein expression,evoking oxidative stress,and activating inflammation and apoptosis显示文摘Background:The immune system is one aspect of health that is affected by dietary selenium(Se)levels and selenoprotein expression.Spleen is an important immune organ of the body,which is directly involved in cellular immunity.However,there are limited reports on Se levels and spleen health.Therefore,this study established a Se-deficient pig model to investigate the mechanism of Se deficiency-induced splenic pathogenesis.Methods:Twenty-four pure line castrated male Yorkshire pigs(45 days old,12.50±1.32 kg,12 full-sibling pairs)were divided into two equal groups and fed Se-deficient diet(0.007 mg Se/kg)or Se-adequate diet(0.3 mg Se/kg)for 16 weeks.At the end of the trial,blood and spleen were collected to assay for erythroid parameters,the osmotic fragility of erythrocytes,the spleen index,histology,terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase nick-end labeling(TUNEL)staining,Se concentrations,the selenogenome,redox status,and signaling related inflammation and apoptosis.Results:Dietary Se deficiency decreased the erythroid parameters and increased the number of osmotically fragile erythrocytes(P<0.05).The spleen index did not change,but hematoxylin and eosin and TUNEL staining indicated that the white pulp decreased,the red pulp increased,and splenocyte apoptosis occurred in the Se deficient group.Se deficiency decreased the Se concentration and selenoprotein expression in the spleen(P<0.05),blocked the glutathione and thioredoxin antioxidant systems,and led to redox imbalance.Se deficiency activated the NF-κB and HIF-1αtranscription factors,thus increasing pro-inflammatory cytokines(IL-1β,IL-6,IL-8,IL-17,and TNF-α),decreasing anti-inflammatory cytokines(IL-10,IL-13,and TGF-β)and increasing expression of the downstream genes COX-2 and iNOS(P<0.05),which in turn induced inflammation.In addition,Se-deficiency induced apoptosis through the mitochondrial pathway,upregulated apoptotic genes(Caspase3,Caspase8,and Bak),and downregulated antiapoptotic genes(Bcl-2)(P<0.05)at the mRNA level,thus verifying the results of TUNEL staining.Conclusions:These results indicated that Se deficiency induces spleen injury through the regulation of selenoproteins,oxidative stress,inflammation and apoptosis.Shuang Li Wenjuan Sun Kai Zhang Jiawei Zhu Xueting Jia Xiaoqing Guo Qingyu Zhao Chaohua Tang Jingdong Yin Junmin Zhang 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,4:4
13The Mechanical Properties of Coastal Soil Treated with Cement显示文摘The influences of cement type, cement content, and curing time on the unconfined compression strength(UCS) of soil-cement were investigated. The influence of groundwater on UCS of soil- cement was also studied. The experimental results indicate that the soil treated with high grade cement presents a higher UCS. Additionally, the UCS of soil-cement presents linearly increased with the cement content. A logarithm correlation between UCS and curing time presents to forecast the strength development. 17Determination of Cd-MT in Pteria penguin with Indirect Non-Competitive ELISA显示文摘Cadmium-metallothionein (Cd-MT) of Pteria penguin was used to immunize domestic rabbit in order to obtain polyclonal antibody against Cd-MT. Using the anti-Cd-MT antibody, a method of indirect non-competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (non-competitive ELISA) was established to detect shellfish Cd-MT. In this case, the minimum detectable concentration of P. penguin Cd-MT was (4.563±0.051) ng/mL. The linear range of detection was 9.75-2.0×104 ng/mL. Intra-assay relative standard deviation (RSD) was less than 11.6%, and inter-assay RSD less than 6.7%. The recovery rates ranged from 83.7% to 119.0%. The polyclonal antibody against Cd-MT of P. penguin can also be used to detect MT of other four types of shellfish. 20Morphology optimization of photoactive layers in organic solar cells显示文摘Organic solar cells(OSCs)have unique advantages of light weight,low-cost solution processing,and capability to be fabricated into flexible and semitransparent devices,which are widely recognized as a promising photovoltaic technology.Photoactive layers of the OSCs are composed of a blend of a p-type organic semiconductor as a donor(D)and an n-type organic semiconductor as acceptor(A).The morphology of the active layer with D/A nano-scaled aggregation and face-onπconjugated packing,and D/A interpenetrating network is crucial for achieving high photovoltaic performance of the OSCs.Therefore,great efforts have been devoted to control and optimize morphology of the active layers.This perspective focuses on the morphological control by solvent/solid processing additives and the morphology optimization by postdeposition treatment with thermal annealing and/or solvent vapor annealing,which have been extensively adopted and exhibit promising positive effect in optimizing the morphology.Representative examples are given and discussed to understand the foundation of the postdeposition treatments on tuning the morphology.Insights into the role of the postdeposition treatments and additive treatments on the morphology optimization will be beneficial to further improvement in morphology optimization for practical organic photovoltaic application.Chaohua Cui Yongfang Li 2021Aggregate2021,2,2:2
