1Influence of Garlic Intercropping or Active Emitted Volatiles in Releasers on Aphid and Related Beneficial in Wheat Fields in China显示文摘In order to develop biological control of aphids by a 'push-pull'approach, intercropping using repellent emitting plants was developed in different crop and associated plant models. Garlic is one of the potential plant that could be inserted in crops to decrease the pest occurrence in neighboring crop plots. In this study, field works were conducted in wheat fields in Langfang Experimental Station, Hebei Province in China from October 2009 to July 2010 during wheat developmental season. The effect of wheat intercropping with garlic but also the volatiles emission on the incidence of the English grain aphid, Sitobion avenae Fabricius (Homoptera: Aphididae) was assessed. Natural beneficial occurrence and global yields in two winter wheat varieties that were susceptible or resistant to cereal aphid were also determined comparing to control plots without the use of garlic plant intercrop nor semiochemical releaser in the fields. S. avenae was found to be lower in garlic oil blend treatment (GOB), diallyl disulfide treatment (DD) and wheat-garlic intercropping treatment (WGI) when compared to the control plots for both two varieties (P<0.01). Both intercropping and application of volatile chemicals emitted by garlic could improve the population densities of natural enemies of cereal aphid, including ladybeetles and mummified aphids. Ladybeetle population density in WGI, GOB and mummified aphids densities in WGI, DD were significantly higher than those in control fields for both two varieties (P<0.05). There were significant interactions between cultivars and treatments to the population densities of S. avenae. The 1 000-grain weight and yield of wheat were also increased compared to the control. 2Genetic Variation Among the Geographic Population of the Grain Aphid, Sitobion avenae (Hemiptera: Aphididae) in China Inferred from Mitochondrial COI Gene Sequence显示文摘In order to characterize the genetic relationship of the geographic populations of Sitobion avenae (Hemiptera: Aphididae) in China, a 588 bp region of the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I (mtDNA-COI) gene was sequenced and analyzed among the different geographic populations. 269 individuals were collected from 17 localities in different wheat-growing areas in China that covered most of the range reported for this species. Within the sequence among these geographic populations, 15 polymorphic sites defined 16 distinct haplotypes, ranging in sequence divergence from 0.2% (one nucleotide) to 1.7% (10 nucleotides). Of the 15 variable sites, 12 were transitional substitutions, 2 were transversional substitutions and 1 was transitional and transversional substitution. Phylogenetic analysis showed that all haplotypes were highly interconnected with each other, in absence of phylogeographic structing. Each of 8 haplotypes was found only at one locality, and the other haplotypes were the widespread distributed in the different localities. The higher genetic diversity was found in the northern China populations than that in the southern China populations. 3High-resolution multimodal flexible coherent Raman endoscope显示文摘Coherent Raman scattering microscopy is a fast,label-free,and chemically specific imaging technique that shows high potential for future in vivo optical histology.However,the imaging depth in tissues is limited to the sub-millimeter range because of absorption and scattering.Realization of coherent Raman imaging using a fiber endoscope system is a crucial step towards imaging deep inside living tissues and providing information that is inaccessible with current microscopy tools.Until now,the development of coherent Raman endoscopy has been hampered by several issues,mainly related to the fiber delivery of the excitation pulses and signal collection.Here,we present a flexible,compact,coherent Raman,and multimodal nonlinear endoscope(4.2mm outer diameter,71mm rigid length)based on a resonantly scanned hollow-core Kagomé-lattice double-clad fiber.The fiber design enables distortion-less,background-free delivery of femtosecond excitation pulses and back-collection of nonlinear signals through the same fiber.Sub-micrometer spatial resolution over a large field of view is obtained by combination of a miniature objective lens with a silica microsphere lens inserted into the fiber core.We demonstrate high-resolution,high-contrast coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering,and second harmonic generation endoscopic imaging of biological tissues over a field of view of 320μm at a rate of 0.8 frames per second.These results pave the way for intraoperative label-free imaging applied to real-time histopathology diagnosis and surgery guidance.Alberto Lombardini Vasyl Mytskaniuk Siddharth Sivankutty Esben Ravn Andresen Xueqin Chen Jérôme Wenger Marc Fabert Nicolas Joly Frédéric Louradour Alexandre Kudlinski Hervé Rigneault 2018Light(Science & Applications)2018,7,1:6
4Engineering of dendritic dopant-free hole transport molecules:enabling ultrahigh fill factor in perovskite solar cells with optimized dendron construction显示文摘Developing dopant-free hole-transporting materials(HTMs)for high-performance perovskite solar cells(PVSCs)has been a very active research topic in recent years since HTMs play a critical role in optimizing interfacial charge carrier kinetics and in turn determining device performance.Here,a novel dendritic engineering strategy is first utilized to design HTMs with a D-A type molecular framework,and diphenylamine and/or carbazole is selected as the building block for constructing dendrons.All HTMs show good thermal stability and excellent film morphology,and the key optoelectronic properties could be fine-tuned by varying the dendron structure.Among them,MPA-Cz-BTI and MCz-Cz-BTI exhibit an improved interfacial contact with the perovskite active layer,and non-radiative recombination loss and charge transport loss can be effectively suppressed.Consequently,high power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of 20.8%and 21.35%are achieved for MPA-Cz-BTI and MCz-Cz-BTI based devices,respectively,accompanied by excellent long-term storage stability.More encouragingly,ultrahigh fill factors of 85.2%and 83.5%are recorded for both devices,which are among the highest values reported to date.This work demonstrates the great potential of dendritic materials as a new type of dopant-free HTMs for high-performance PVSCs with excellent FF.Wei Chen Yang Wang Bin Liu Yajun Gao Ziang Wu Yongqiang Shi Yumin Tang Kun Yang Yujie Zhang Weipeng Sun Xiyuan Feng Frédéric Laquai Han Young Woo Aleksandra B.Djurisic Xugang Guo Zhubing He 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,1:2
