Water limitation and rootstock genotype interact to alter grape berry metabolism through transcriptome reprogramming显示文摘Grapevine is a perennial crop often cultivated by grafting a scion cultivar on a suitable rootstock.Rootstocks influence scions, particularly with regard to water uptake and vigor. Therefore, one of the possibilities to adapt viticulture to the extended drought stress periods is to select rootstocks conferring increased tolerance to drought. However, the molecular mechanisms associated with the ability of rootstock/scion combination to influence grape berry metabolism under drought stress are still poorly understood. The transcriptomic changes induced by drought stress in grape berries(cv.Pinot noir)from vines grafted on either 110R(drought-tolerant)or 125AA(drought-sensitive)rootstock were compared. The experiments were conducted in the vineyard for two years and two grape berry developmental stages(50%and 100%veraison).The genome-wide microarray approach showed that water stress strongly impacts gene expression in the berries, through ontology categories that cover cell wall metabolism, primary and secondary metabolism, signaling, stress, and hormones, and that some of these effects strongly depend on the rootstock genotype.Indeed, under drought stress, berries from vines grafted on 110R displayed a different transcriptional response compared to 125AA-concerning genes related to jasmonate(JA),phenylpropanoid metabolism, and pathogenesis-related proteins. The data also suggest a link between JA and secondary metabolism in water-stressed berries.Overall, genes related to secondary metabolism and JA are more induced and/or less repressed by drought stress in the berries grafted on the drought-sensitive rootstock 125AA.These rootstock-dependent gene expression changes are relevant for berry composition and sensory properties. | Mariam Berdeja Philippe Nicolas Christian Kappel Zhan Wu Dai Ghislaine Hilbert Anthony Peccoux Magali Lafontaine Nathalie Ollat Eric Gomès Serge Delrot | 2015 | Horticulture Research2015,2,1: | 5

The Msi1-mTOR pathway drives the pathogenesis of mammary and extramammary Paget’s disease显示文摘Mammary and extramammary Paget’s Diseases(PD)are a malignant skin cancer characterized by the appearance of Paget cells.Although easily diagnosed, its pathogenesis remains unknown.Here,single-cell RNA-sequencing identified distinct cellular states, novel biomarkers, and signaling pathways—including mTOR,associated with extramammary PD.Interestingly,we identified MSI1 ectopic overexpression in basal epithelial cells of human PD skin, and show that Msi1 overexpression in the epidermal basal layer of mice phenocopies human PD at histopathological,single-cell and molecular levels.Using this mouse model,we identified novel biomarkers of Paget-like cells that translated to human Paget cells.Furthermore,single-cell trajectory,RNA velocity and lineage-tracing analyses revealed a putative keratinocyte-to-Paget-like cell conversion, supporting the in situ transformation theory of disease pathogenesis.Mechanistically, the Msi1-mTOR pathway drives keratinocyte-Paget-like cell conversion, and suppression of mTOR signaling with Rapamycin significantly rescued the Paget-like phenotype in Msi1-overexpressing transgenic mice.Topical Rapamycin treatment improved extramammary PD-associated symptoms in humans, suggesting mTOR inhibition as a novel therapeutic treatment in PD. | Yongli Song Christian F.Guerrero-Juarez Zhongjian Chen Yichen Tang Xianghui Ma Cong Lv Xueyun Bi Min Deng Lina Bu Yuhua Tian Ruiqi Liu Ran Zhao Jiuzhi Xu Xiaole Sheng Sujuan Du Yeqiang Liu Yunlu Zhu Shi-jun Shan Hong-duo Chen Yiqiang Zhao Guangbiao Zhou Jianwei Shuai Fazheng Ren Lixiang Xue Zhaoxia Ying Xing Dai Christopher J.Lengner Bogi Andersen Maksim V.Plikus Qing Nie Zhengquan Yu-Show | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,10: | 2
Comparative analysis of DNA extraction protocols for ancient soft tissue museum samples显示文摘DNA studies of endangered or extinct species often rely on ancient or degraded remains. The majority of ancient DNA(aDNA)extraction protocols focus on skeletal elements, with skin and hair samples rarely explored.Similar to that found in bones and teeth,DNA extracted from historical or ancient skin and fur samples is also extremely fragmented with low endogenous content due to natural degradation processes. Thus, the development of effective DNA extraction methods is required for these materials. Here,we compared the performance of two DNA extraction protocols(commercial and custom laboratory aDNA methods)on hair and skin samples from decades-old museum specimens to Iron Age archaeological material. We found that apart from the impact sample-specific taphonomic and handling history has on the quantity and quality of DNA preservation, skin yielded more endogenous DNA than hair of the samples and protocols tested. While both methods recovered DNA from ancient soft tissue, the laboratory method performed better overall in terms of DNA yield and quality, which was primarily due to the poorer performance of the commercial binding buffer in recovering aDNA. | Ming Zhang Peng Cao Qing-Yan Dai Yong-Qiang Wang Xiao-Tian Feng Hong-Ru Wang Hong Wu Albert Min-Shan Ko Xiao-Wei Mao Yi-Chen Liu Li Yu Christian Roos Tilo Nadler Wen Xiao E.Andrew Bennett Qiao-Mei Fu | 2021 | Zoological Research2021,42,3: | 1

Families of Dothideomycetes显示文摘Dothideomycetes comprise a highly diverse range of fungi characterized mainly by asci with two wall layers(bitunicate asci)and often with fissitunicate dehiscence. Many species are saprobes, with many asexual states comprising important plant pathogens. They are also endophytes, epiphytes, fungicolous, lichenized,or lichenicolous fungi. They occur in terrestrial, freshwater and marine habitats in almost every part of the world. We accept 105 families in Dothideomycetes with the new families Anteagloniaceae,Bambusicolaceae,Biatriosporaceae,Lichenoconiaceae,Muyocopronaceae,Paranectriellaceae,Roussoellaceae,Salsugineaceae,Seynesiopeltidaceae and Thyridariaceae introduced in this paper. Each family is provided with a description and notes, including asexual and asexual states, and if more than one genus is included, the type genus is also characterized. Each family is provided with at least one figure-plate,usually illustrating the type genus,a list of accepted genera, including asexual genera, and a key to these genera.A phylogenetic tree based on four gene combined analysis add support for 64 of the families and 22 orders, including the novel orders,Dyfrolomycetales,Lichenoconiales,Lichenotheliales,Monoblastiales,Natipusillales,Phaeotrichales and Strigulales. The paper is expected to provide a working document on Dothideomycetes which can be modified as new data comes to light. It is hoped that by illustrating types we provide stimulation and interest so that more work is carried out in this remarkable group of fungi. | Kevin D.Hyde E.B.Gareth Jones Jian-Kui Liu Hiran Ariyawansa Eric Boehm Saranyaphat Boonmee Uwe Braun Putarak Chomnunti Pedro W.Crous Dong-Qin Dai Paul Diederich Asha Dissanayake Mingkhuan Doilom Francesco Doveri Singang Hongsanan Ruvishika Jayawardena James D.Lawrey Yan-Mei Li Yong-Xiang Liu Robert Lücking Jutamart Monkai Lucia Muggia Matthew P.Nelsen Ka-Lai Pang Rungtiwa Phookamsak Indunil C.Senanayake Carol A.Shearer Satinee Suetrong Kazuaki Tanaka Kasun M.Thambugala Nalin N.Wijayawardene Saowanee Wikee Hai-Xia Wu Ying Zhang Begoña Aguirre-Hudson S.Aisyah Alias AndréAptroot Ali H.Bahkali Jose L.Bezerra D.Jayarama Bhat Erio Camporesi Ekachai Chukeatirote Cécile Gueidan David L.Hawksworth Kazuyuki Hirayama Sybren De Hoog Ji-Chuan Kang Kerry Knudsen Wen-Jing Li Xing-Hong Li Zou-Yi Liu Ausana Mapook Eric H.C.McKenzie Andrew N.Miller Peter E.Mortimer Alan J.L.Phillips Huzefa A.Raja Christian Scheuer Felix Schumm Joanne E.Taylor Qing Tian Saowaluck Tibpromma Dhanushka N.Wanasinghe Yong Wang Jian-Chu Xu Supalak Yacharoen Ji-Ye Yan Min Zhang | 2013 | Fungal Diversity2013,,6: | 1

Preliminary experimental study on applicability of Lorentz force velocimetry in an external magnetic field显示文摘Lorentz force velocimetry(LFV) is a noncontact technique for measuring electrically conducting fluids based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. This work aims to answer the open and essential question of whether LFV can work properly under a surrounding external magnetic field(ExMF). Two types of Ex MFs with different magnetic intensities were examined: a magnetic field with a typical order of 0.4 T generated by a permanent magnet(PM) and another generated by an electromagnet(EM) on the order of 2 T. Two forces, including the magnetostatic force between the Ex MF and PM in the LFV, and the Lorentz force generated by the PM in LFV were measured and analyzed in the experiment. In addition,Ex MFs of varying strengths were added to the LFV, and the location of the LFV device in the iron cores of the EM was considered. The experimental outcomes demonstrate that it is possible for a LFV device to operate normally under a moderate Ex MF. However, the magnetostatic force will account for a high proportion of the measured force, thus inhibiting the normal LFV operation, if the Ex MF is too high. | Yan-Qing Tan Run-Cong Liu Shang-Jun Dai Xiao-Dong Wang Ming-Jiu Ni Juan-Cheng Yang Nataliia Dubovikova Yurii Kolesnikov Christian Karcher | 2018 | Nuclear Science and Techniques2018,29,6: | 0
Observatory science with eXTP显示文摘In this White Paper we present the potential of the enhanced X-ray Timing and Polarimetry(eXTP) mission for studies related to Observatory Science targets. These include flaring stars, supernova remnants, accreting white dwarfs, low and high mass X-ray binaries, radio quiet and radio loud active galactic nuclei, tidal disruption events, and gamma-ray bursts. eXTP will be excellently suited to study one common aspect of these objects: their often transient nature. Developed by an international Consortium led by the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Science, the eXTP mission is expected to be launched in the mid 2020s. | Jean J.M.in 't Zand Enrico Bozzo JinLu Qu Xiang-Dong Li Lorenzo Amati Yang Chen Immacolata Donnarumma Victor Doroshenko Stephen A.Drake Margarita Hernanz Peter A.Jenke Thomas J.Maccarone Simin Mahmoodifar Domitilla de Martino Alessandra De Rosa Elena M.Rossi Antonia Rowlinson Gloria Sala Giulia Stratta Thomas M.Tauris Joern Wilms XueFeng Wu Ping Zhou Iván Agudo Diego Altamirano Jean-Luc Atteia Nils A.andersson M.Cristina Baglio David R.Ballantyne Altan Baykal Ehud Behar Tomaso Belloni Sudip Bhattacharyya Stefano Bianchi Anna Bilous Pere Blay Joao Braga Sφren Brandt Edward F.Brown Niccolo Bucciantini Luciano Burderi Edward M.Cackett Riccardo Campana Sergio Campana Piergiorgio Casella Yuri Cavecchi Frank Chambers Liang Chen Yu-Peng Chen Jér?me Chenevez Maria Chernyakova ChiChuan Jin Riccardo Ciolfi Elisa Costantini Andrew Cumming Antonino D'Aì Zi-Gao Dai Filippo D'Ammando Massimiliano De Pasquale Nathalie Degenaar Melania Del Santo Valerio D'Elia Tiziana Di Salvo Gerry Doyle Maurizio Falanga XiLong Fan Robert D.Ferdman Marco Feroci Federico Fraschetti Duncan K.Galloway Angelo F.Gambino Poshak Gandhi MingYu Ge Bruce Gendre Ramandeep Gill Diego G?tz Christian Gouiffès Paola Grandi Jonathan Granot Manuel Güdel Alexander Heger Craig O.Heinke Jeroen Homan Rosario Iaria Kazushi Iwasawa Luca Izzo Long Ji Peter G.Jonker Jordi José Jelle S.Kaastra Emrah Kalemci Oleg Kargaltsev Nobuyuki Kawai Laurens Keek Stefanie Komossa Ingo Kreykenbohm Lucien Kuiper Devaky Kunneriath Gang Li En-Wei Liang Manuel Linares Francesco Longo FangJun Lu Alexander A.Lutovinov Denys Malyshev Julien Malzac Antonios Manousakis Ian McHardy Missagh Mehdipour YunPeng Men Mariano Méndez Roberto P.Mignani Romana Mikusincova M.Coleman Miller Giovanni Miniutti Christian Motch Joonas Nättilä Emanuele Nardini Torsten Neubert Paul T.O'Brien Mauro Orlandini Julian P.Osborne Luigi Pacciani Stéphane Paltani Maurizio Paolillo Iossif E.Papadakis Biswajit Paul Alberto Pellizzoni Uria Peretz Miguel A.Pérez Torres Emanuele Perinati Chanda Prescod-Weinstein Pablo Reig Alessandro Riggio Jerome Rodriguez Pablo Rodríguez-Gil Patrizia Romano Agata Rózańska Takanori Sakamoto Tuomo Salmi Ruben Salvaterra andrea Sanna andrea Santangelo Tuomas Savolainen Stéphane Schanne Hendrik Schatz LiJing Shao andy Shearer Steven N.Shore Ben W.Stappers Tod E.Strohmayer Valery F.Suleimanov Jirí Svoboda F.-K.Thielemann Francesco Tombesi Diego F.Torres Eleonora Torresi Sara Turriziani andrea Vacchi Stefano Vercellone Jacco Vink Jian-Min Wang JunFeng Wang Anna L.Watts ShanShan Weng Nevin N.Weinberg Peter J.Wheatley Rudy Wijnands Tyrone E.Woods Stan E.Woosley ShaoLin Xiong YuPeng Xu Zhen Yan George Younes WenFei Yu Feng Yuan Luca Zampieri Silvia Zane andrzej A.Zdziarski Shuang-Nan Zhang Shu Zhang Shuo Zhang Xiao Zhang Michael Zingale | 2019 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2019,62,2: | 0
