Enhanced photocatalytic hydrogen evolution along with byproducts suppressing over Z-scheme CdxZn1-xS/Au/g-C3N4 photocatalysts under visible light显示文摘Inspired by natural photosynthesis, a new series of Z-scheme Cd_xZn_(1-x)S/Au/g-C_3N_4 photocatalysts were synthesized via depositing Au particles on g-C_3N_4, followed by anchoring CdxZn_(1-x)S solid solution on the pre-formed Au/g-C_3N_4 for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. Their structure, morphology and optical property were investigated in detail. Photocatalytic activities of the developed photocatalysts for water splitting were evaluated under visible-light irradiation(k > 420 nm) using glucose as electron donor. The highest hydrogen evolution rate of 123 lmol g^(-1)h^(-1)is achieved by Cd_(0.8Z)n_(0.2)S/Au/g-C_3N_4, which is 52.2 and 8.63 times higher than that of Au/g-C_3N_4 and Cd S/Au/g-C_3N_4, respectively. The results of photoluminescence spectra, photoelectrochemical and time-resolved photoluminescence spectra indicate that the improved photocatalytic activities for Cd_xZn_(1-x)S/Au/g-C_3N_4 are due to the efficient separation of photogenerated carriers. In addition, it is noteworthy that the undesired byproducts CO and CO_2 are greatly reduced by introducing CdxZn_(1-x)S over Au/g-C_3N_4 surface. In the photocatalytic process, gluconic acid originated from the reaction of photogenerated hydroxyl radical with glucose plays a vital role on suppressing the formation of the gas byproducts. The present work will provide a new strategy to design Z-scheme photocatalysts with enhanced efficiency for water splitting along with suppressing the byproducts. | He Zhao Xiaoling Ding Bing Zhang Yingxuan Li Chuanyi Wang | 2017 | Science Bulletin2017,62,9: | 12
DR-Cloud: Multi-Cloud Based Disaster Recovery Service显示文摘With the rapid popularity of cloud computing paradigm, disaster recovery using cloud resources becomes an attractive approach. This paper presents a practical multi-cloud based disaster recovery service model: DRCloud. With DR-Cloud, resources of multiple cloud service providers can be utilized cooperatively by the disaster recovery service provider. A simple and unified interface is exposed to the customers of DR-Cloud to adapt the heterogeneity of cloud service providers involved in the disaster recovery service, and the internal processes between clouds are invisible to the customers. DR-Cloud proposes multiple optimization scheduling strategies to balance the disaster recovery objectives, such as high data reliability, low backup cost, and short recovery time, which are also transparent to the customers. Different data scheduling strategies based on DR-Cloud are suitable for different kinds of data disaster recovery scenarios. Experimental results show that the DR-Cloud model can cooperate with cloud service providers with various parameters effectively, while its data scheduling strategies can achieve their optimization objectives efficiently and are widely applicable. | Yu Gu Dongsheng Wang Chuanyi Liu | 2014 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2014,19,1: | 5
Discrete energetic(~50-200 keV) electron events in the high-altitude cusp/polar cap/lobe显示文摘We identified 28 discrete electron events(DEEs) with enhanced fluxes at ~50-200 keV in the high-altitude cusp/polar cap/lobe,using the electron measurements by the BeiDa Image Electron Spectrometer(BD-IES) instrument onboard an inclined(55°)geosynchronous orbit(IGSO) satellite from October 2015 to January 2016. We find that among the 28 DEEs, 22 occur in the nightside and mostly in the northern cusp/polar cap/lobe, while 6 occur in the dayside and all in the southern cusp; 24 events correspond to an average interplanetary magnetic field(IMF) component B_z>0, 3 correspond to an average IMF B_z<0, and 1 has no OMNI IMF data. In these DEEs, the observed average omnidirectional electron differential flux generally fits well to a power-law spectrum, J^E^(-γ), with the spectral index y ranging from 2.6 to 4.6, while the average electron flux varies over three orders of magnitude from event to event. The spectral index of these cusp DEEs are(strongly) larger than the spectral index of solar wind superhalo electrons(radiation belt electrons) observed by the WIND 3 D Plasma & Energetic Particle instrument(the BD-IES). At^110 keV,the electron flux of DEEs in the cusp/polar cap/lobe shows a weak positive correlation with the solar wind superhalo electron flux but no obvious correlation with the radiation belt electron flux. These results suggest that these DEEs probably originate from transient processes acting on the solar wind superhalo electrons, e.g., the mid/high-latitude reconnection. | WANG LingHua ZONG QiuGang SHI QuanQi WANG YongFu TU ChuanYi HE JianSen TIAN Hui WIMMER-SCHWEINGRUBER Robert F. | 4 | KuaFu Mission显示文摘The KuaFu mission-Space Storms, Aurora and Space Weather Explorer-is an 'L1+Polar' triple satellite project composed of three spacecraft: KuaFu-A will be located at L1 and have instruments to observe solar EUV and FUV emissions, and white-light Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs), and to measure radio waves, the local plasma and magnetic field, and high-energy particles. KuaFuB1 and KuaFu- B2 will bein polar orbits chosen to facilitate continuous 24 hours a day observation of the north polar Aurora Oval. The KuaFu mission is designed to observe the complete chain of disturbances from the solar atmosphere to geospace, including solar flares, CMEs, interplanetary clouds, shock waves, and their geo-effects, such as magnetospheric sub-storms and magnetic storms, and auroral activities. The mission may start at the next solar maximum (launch in about 2012), and with an initial mission lifetime of two to three years. KuaFu data will be used for the scientific study of space weather phenomena, and will be used for space weather monitoring and forecast purposes. The overall mission design, instrument complement, and incorporation of recent technologies will target new fundamental science, advance our understanding of the physical processes underlying space weather, and raise the standard of end-to-end monitoring of the Sun-Earth system. | XIA Lidong TU Chuanyi Schwenn Rainer Donovan Eric Marsch Eckart WANG Jingsong ZHANG Yongwei XIAO Zuo | 2006 | 空间科学学报2006,26,z1: | 3
Oxygen-doping of ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets towards boosted photocatalytic CO_(2) reduction显示文摘Engineering the electronic properties of semiconductor-based photocatalysts using elemental doping is an effective approach to improve their catalytic activity.Nevertheless, there still remain contradictions regarding the role of the dopants played in photocatalysis.Herein, ultrathin ZnIn_(2)S_(4)(ZIS) nanosheets with oxygen doping were synthesized by a one-pot solvothermal method.XRD,XPS and Raman spectral measurements support the presence of lattice oxygen in the oxygen-doped ZIS(O-ZIS) sample. With optimum doping of oxygen, the ultrathin O-ZIS nanosheets show enhanced CO_(2)-to-CO conversion activity with a CO_(2)-evolving rate of 1680 μmol h^(-1) g^(-1) under visible light irradiation, which is about 7 times higher than that of the pristine ZIS.First-principle calculations support that doping of oxygen in the lattice of ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets plays a key role in tuning its electronic properties. The remarkable photocatalytic performance of O-ZIS can be assigned to a synergistic consequence of a unique ultrathin-layered structure and an upward shift of the conduction band minimum(CBM) caused by the oxygen doping into ZIS and the quantum confinement effect(QCE) induced by the decreased particle size after doping as well as to the improved charge separation efficiency. The present work offers a simple elemental doping method to promote charge separation at atomic level and illustrates the roles played by oxygen doping in photocatalysis, giving new insights into highly efficient artificial photosynthesis. | Bao Pan Yu Wu Baker Rhimi Jiani Qin Ying Huang Mingzhe Yuan Chuanyi Wang | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6: | 3
DIV: Dynamic Integrity Validation Framework for Detecting Compromises on Virtual Machine Based Cloud Services in Real Time显示文摘with the increasing popularity of cloud services, attacks on the cloud infrastructure also increase dramatically.Especially, how to monitor the integrity of cloud execution environments is still a difficult task.In this paper,a real-time dynamic integrity validation(DIV) framework is proposed to monitor the integrity of virtual machine based execution environments in the cloud.DIV can detect the integrity of the whole architecture stack from the cloud servers up to the VM OS by extending the current trusted chain into virtual machine's architecture stack.DIV introduces a trusted third party(TTP) to collect the integrity information and detect remotely the integrity violations on VMs periodically to avoid the heavy involvement of cloud tenants and unnecessary information leakage of the cloud providers. To evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of DIV framework,a prototype on KVM/QEMU is implemented, and extensive analysis and experimental evaluation are performed.Experimental results show that the DIV can efficiently validate the integrity of files and loaded programs in real-time,with minor performance overhead. | WANG Chunlu LIU Chuanyi LIU Bin DONG Yingfei | 2014 | China Communications2014,11,8: | 2
Single-Atom Pd–N_(3)Sites on Carbon-Defi cient g-C_(3)N_(4)for Photocatalytic H_(2)Evolution显示文摘Photocatalytic hydrogen evolution is an attractive fi eld for future environment-friendly energy. However, fast recombination of photogenerated charges severely inhibits hydrogen effi ciency.Single-atom cocatalysts such as Pt have emerged as an eff ective method to enhance the photocatalytic activity by introduction of active sites and boosting charge separation with low-coordination environment.Herein,we demonstrated a new strategy to develop a highly active Pd single atom in carbondefi cient g-C_(3)N_(4)with a unique coordination. The single-atom Pd–N_(3)sites constructed by oil bath heating and photoreduction process were confi rmed by HADDF-STEM and XPS measurements.Introduction of single-atom Pd greatly improved the separation and transportation of charge carriers, leading to a longer lifespan for consequent reactions. The obtained singleatom Pd loaded on the carbon-defi cient g-C_(3)N_(4)showed excellent photocatalytic activity in hydrogen production with about 24 and 4 times higher activity than that of g-C_(3)N_(4)and nano-sized Pd on the same support, respectively. This work provides a new insight on the design of single-atom catalyst. | Guimei Liu Haiqin Lv Yubin Zeng Mingzhe Yuan Qingguo Meng Yuanhao Wang Chuanyi Wang | 2021 | Transactions of Tianjin University2021,27,2: | 1

Investigation on composite Au/TiO_2 nanoparticles (Ⅰ)——Synthesis and characterization显示文摘Nanometer sized Au/TiO\-2 particles were synthesized by irradiation of a HAuCl\-4 solution containing colloidal TiO\-2 with light of wavelength (λ)>330 nm. The absorption maximum attributed to the surface plasmon band of gold was observed at 540 nm, a red shift of about 20 nm from the position in aqueous solution. The Au clusters are situated on the surface of TiO\-2 in terms of microcrystallite, which was confirmed by HRTEM, EDS and XRD. The electronic interfaction between the metal and the suport was discussed. | WANG Chuanyi, LIU Chunyan and SHEN Tao Institute of Photographic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100101, China | 1998 | Chinese Science Bulletin1998,43,3: | 1
Potential dual outbreak of COVID-19 and HFMD among children in Asia-Pacific countries in the HFMD-endemic area显示文摘In the era of the pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infects infants and children with mild or atypical symptoms[1,2].The new variations in SARS-CoV-2 recently found in the United Kingdom greatly increased the risk of infection among children[3].Although previous evidence showed that children rarely developed severe symptoms from COVID-19,the hospitalization rate was 24.5%and the ICU admission rate was 2.5%among children in the United States[4].Further,there is a lack of evidence regarding the influence of the recently appeared SARS-CoV-2 variations. Thus,it is of great significance to monitor and track the COVID-19 infection among children. | Lina Jiang Jing Wang Bin Yu Chuanyi Ning Yi Tan | 2021 | Biosafety and Health2021,3,3: | 1

Plasma draining and replenishing near a solar active region inferred from cross-correlation between radiation intensity and Doppler shift显示文摘Using observations from the EUV Imaging Spectrometer(EIS) onboard Hinode, we exam the plasma dynamics around the edge of the active region 10977, possibly associated with the source of nascent slow/intermediate solar wind. The correlation between the temporal profiles of the radiation intensity and Doppler shift for each emission line are analyzed. And three small regions with positive correlations for all the five emission lines are selected for a detailed analysis. In this work, Doppler blue(red) shift is defined as negative(positive). We find that in Region 1, the radiation intensity(Doppler velocity) decreases by about 15%(about 3 km s-1), and logarithmical differential emission measures(lg(DEMs)) reduces by about 0.06–0.10% at all temperatures, called 'weak dimming', during a 30-min interval. In Region 2 and Region 3, however, the radiation intensity(Doppler velocity) increases by about 15%(about 3 km s-1), and lg(DEMs) increases by about 0.06%–0.10% at all temperatures, called 'weak brightening'. Such weak dimming(weak brightening) could reflect a slow draining(replenishing) of plasma in the solar wind flux tubes, possibly due to a larger(smaller) outflow flux at high altitude than at low altitude. These suggest that the plasma supply could be intermittent with an alternation of draining and replenishing, for which the underlying physical process is yet unknown, at the source region of slow/intermediate solar wind. | ZHANG JingBo HE JianSen YAN LiMei TU ChuanYi WANG LingHua WANG Xin | 2015 | Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,5: | 1
