| 1 | Microstructures and fatigue properties of electron beam welds with beam oscillation for heavy section TC4-DT alloy显示文摘With the development of the manufacturing technology, electron beam welding(EBW) is capable of producing titanium alloy large parts in aero fields. To increase the applications and improve the properties, EBW with beam oscillation was investigated on TC4-DT alloy with50 mm thickness. We detected the welding samples by X-ray NDT, observed the microstructures of the welds, and tested the fatigue properties of the joints. The results showed that EBW with beam oscillation improved the weld morphology as well as welding quality, and the microstructure homogeneity of the welds and HAZ along the weld penetration were also improved. The fatigue properties of the joints with beam oscillation were more excellent than those of conventional EBW, even equal to those of the base metal under high stresses. | 2 | Improved Differential Evolution with Shrinking Space Technique for Constrained Optimization显示文摘Most of the current evolutionary algorithms for constrained optimization algorithm are low computational efficiency. In order to improve efficiency, an improved differential evolution with shrinking space technique and adaptive trade-off model, named ATMDE, is proposed to solve constrained optimization problems. The proposed ATMDE algorithm employs an improved differential evolution as the search optimizer to generate new offspring individuals into evolutionary population. For the constraints, the adaptive trade-off model as one of the most important constraint-handling techniques is employed to select better individuals to retain into the next population,which could effectively handle multiple constraints. Then the shrinking space technique is designed to shrink the search region according to feedback information in order to improve computational efficiency without losing accuracy.The improved DE algorithm introduces three different mutant strategies to generate different offspring into evolutionary population. Moreover, a new mutant strategy called ‘‘DE/rand/best/1'' is constructed to generate new individuals according to the feasibility proportion of current population. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by a suite of benchmark functions and practical engineering problems. | 3 | Global perspectives and future research directions for the phytoremediation of heavy metal-contaminated soil:A knowledge mapping analysis from 2001 to 2020显示文摘In total,9,552 documents were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection and subjected to knowledge mapping and visualization analysis for the field of phytoremediation of HM-contaminated soil(PHMCS)with CiteSpace 5.7 R3 software.The results showed that(1)the number of publications increased linearly over the studied period.The top 10 countries/regions,institutions and authors contributing to this field were exhibited.(2)Keyword co-occurrence cluster analysis revealed a total of 8 clusters,including“Bioremediation,”“Arsenic,”“Biochar,”“Oxidative stress,”“Hyperaccumulation,”“EDTA,”“Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi,”and“Environmental pollution”clusters(3)In total,334 keyword bursts were obtained,and the 25 strongest,longest duration,and newest keyboard bursts were analyzed in depth.The strongest keyword burst test showed that the hottest keywords could be divided into 7 groups,i.e.,“Plant bioremediation materials,”“HM types,”“Chelating amendments,”“Other improved strategies,”“Bioremediation characteristics,”“Risk assessment,”and“Other.”Almost half of the newest topics had emerged in the past 3 years,including“biochar,”“drought,”“health risk assessment,”“electrokinetic remediation,”“nanoparticle,”and“intercropping.”(4)In total,9 knowledge base clusters were obtained in this study.The studies of Ali et al.(2013),Blaylock et al.(1997),Huang et al.(1997),van der Ent et al.(2013),Salt et al.(1995),and Salt(1998),which had both high frequencies and the strongest burst scores,have had the most profound effects on PHMCS research.Finally,future research directions were proposed. | Kehui Liu Xiaojin Guan Chunming Li Keyi Zhao Xiaohua Yang Rongxin Fu Yi Li Fangming Yu | 2022 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,6: | 4 |

| 7 | Rock-salt and helix structures of silver iodides under ambient conditions显示文摘Many different phase structures have been discovered for silver iodides. The β and γ phases were found to be the most common ones at ambient conditions, while the rock-salt phase was found to be stable under pressures between 400 MPa and 11.3 GPa. Recently, the α phase was demonstrated to be stable under ambient conditions when the particle sizes were reduced to below 10 nm. However, no other phase has been reported to be stable for silver iodides under ambient conditions. Rock-salt and helix structures have been found to be stable under ambient conditions in this study. The structures have been characterized by elemental mapping, Raman scattering, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. | 12 | Analysis of Basal Area for Chinese Fir Plantation Using Two Kinds of Nonlinear Mixed Effects Model(Two Levels)显示文摘Nonlinear mixed effects model(NLMEM) is based on the relationship between the fixed and random effects in the regression function.The NLMEM has a competitive advantage in analyzing repeated measures data,the longitudinal data and multilevel data.This paper chose two kinds of two-level nonlinear mixed model to analyze basal area growth for Chinese Fir(Cunninghamia lanceolata). Model 1 is a general two-level NLMEM and Model 2 is based on Model 1 to further consider the fixed effects parameters changes with a specific factor. Firstly,through the analysis of these two models, this paper defined the basic model to build the two-level NLMEM.Secondly,665 kinds of models derived from Model 1 and 2 703 kinds of models derived from Model 2 were calculated and compared. | 14 | Ultrafine MoO_(x)clusters anchored on g-C_(3)N_(4)with nitrogen/oxygen dual defects for synergistic efficient O_(2)activation and tetracycline photodegradation显示文摘Photocatalytic O_(2)activation to generate reactive oxygen species is crucially important for purifying organic pollutants,yet remains a challenge due to poor adsorption of O_(2)and low efficiency of electron transfer.Herein,we demonstrate that ultrafine MoO_(x)clusters anchored on graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))with dual nitrogen/oxygen defects promote the photocatalytic activation of O_(2)to generate·O_(2)−for the degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride(TCH).A range of characterization techniques and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the introduction of the nitrogen/oxygen dual defects and MoO_(x)clusters enhances the O_(2)adsorption energy from−2.77 to−2.94 eV.We find that MoO_(x)clusters with oxygen vacancies(Ov)and surface Ov-mediated Moδ+(3≥δ≥2)possess unpaired localized electrons,which act as electron capture centers to transfer electrons to the MoO_(x)clusters.These electrons can then transfer to the surface adsorbed O_(2),thus promoting the photocatalytic conversion of O_(2)to·O_(2)−and,simultaneously,realizing the efficient separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs.Our fully-optimized MoO_(x)/g-C_(3)N_(4)catalyst with dual nitrogen/oxygen defects manifests outstanding photoactivities,achieving 79%degradation efficiency toward TCH within 120 min under visible light irradiation,representing nearly 7 times higher activity than pristine g-C_(3)N_(4).Finally,based on the results of liquid chromatograph mass spectrometry and DFT calculations,the possible photocatalytic degradation pathways of TCH were proposed. | Huidong Shen Xinyu Zhan Song Hong Liang Xu Chunming Yang Alex W.Robertson Leiduan Hao Feng Fu Zhenyu Sun | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,8: | 0 |
