| 1 | Late Cretaceous-Cenozoic Multi-Stage Denudation at the Western Ordos Block: Constraints by the Apatite Fission Track Dating on the Langshan显示文摘The apatite fission track dating of samples from the Dabashan(i.e., the Langshan in the northeastern Alxa Block) by the laser ablation method and their thermal history modeling of AFT ages are conducted in this study. The obtained results and lines of geological evidence in the study region indicate that the Langshan has experienced complicated tectonic-thermal events during the the Late Cretaceous-Cenozoic. Firstly, it experienced a tectonic-thermal event in the Late Cretaceous(~90–70 Ma). The event had little relation with the oblique subduction of the Izanagi Plate along the eastern Eurasian Plate, but was related to the Neo-Tethys subduction and compression between the Lhasa Block and Qiangtang Block. Secondly, it underwent the dextral slip faulting in the Eocene(~50–45 Ma). The strike slip fault may develop in the same tectonic setting as sinistral slip faults in southern Mongolia and thrusts in West Qinling to the southwest Ordos Block in the same period, which is the remote far-field response to the India-Eurasia collision. Thirdly, the tectonic thermal event existed in the late Cenozoic(since ~10 Ma), thermal modeling shows that several samples began their denudation from upper region of partial annealing zone(PAZ), and the denudation may have a great relationship with the growth of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau to the northeast. In addition, the AFT ages of Langshan indicate that the main body of the Langshan may be an upper part of fossil PAZ of the Late Cretaceous(~70 Ma). | 2 | Preliminary study of 0.14 THz water surface clutter reflectivity at near vertical incidence angle显示文摘As the development of radar systems developed for the terahertz and higher millimeter region continues to grow, the interest in the water surface and land clutter at terahertz and higher millimeter frequencies continues to increase. An empirical model of sea clutter reflectivity is described firstly, which is valid at near vertical incidence and has small average absolute deviation compared to other empirical models. Simulated results of 0.14 THz sea clutter at near vertical incidence with thismodel are shown. An indoor test-bed is constructed in order to measure 0.14 THz water surface clutter reflectivity and an experiment is carried out. | 4 | Newcastle disease virus suppresses antigen presentation via inhibiting IL-12 expression in dendritic cells显示文摘As a potential vectored vaccine,Newcastle disease virus(NDV)has been subject to various studies for vaccine development,while relatively little research has outlined the immunomodulatory effect of the virus in antigen presentation.To elucidate the key inhibitory factor in regulating the interaction of infected dendritic cells(DCs)and T cells,DCs were pretreated with the NDV vaccine strain LaSota as an inhibitor and stimulated with lipopolysaccharide(LPS)for further detection by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),flow cytometry,immunoblotting,and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).The results revealed that NDV infection resulted in the inhibition of interleukin(IL)-12p40 in DCs through a p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)-dependent manner,thus inhibiting the synthesis of IL-12p70,leading to the reduction in T cell proliferation and the secretion of interferon-(IFN-),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and IL-6 induced by DCs.Consequently,downregulated cytokines accelerated the infection and viral transmission from DCs to T cells.Furthermore,several other strains of NDV also exhibited inhibitory activity.The current study reveals that NDV can modulate the intensity of the innate-adaptive immune cell crosstalk critically toward viral invasion improvement,highlighting a novel mechanism of virus-induced immunosuppression and providing new perspectives on the improvement of NDV-vectored vaccine. | Fulong NAN Wenlong NAN Xin YAN Hui WANG Shasha JIANG Shuyun ZHANG Zhongjie YU Xianjuan ZHANG Fengjun LIU Jun LI Xiaoqiong ZHOU Delei NIU Yiquan LI Wei WANG Ning SHI Ningyi JIN Changzhan XIE Xiaoni CUI He ZHANG Bin WANG Huijun LU | 2024 | Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2024，25，3： | 0 |
