1Significant sensing performance of an all-silicon terahertz metasurface chip for Bacillus thuringiensis Cry1Ac protein显示文摘The promising prospect of a terahertz metasurface in sensing and detection applications has attracted increasing attention because of its ability to overcome the classical diffraction limit and the enhancement of field intensity.In this work,a novel scheme based on an all-silicon terahertz plasmon metasurface is proposed and experimentally demonstrated to be a highly sensitive biosensor for the Bacillus thuringiensis Cry1Ac toxin.The regression coefficients between Bacillus thuringiensis protein concentrations and the spectral resonance intensity and frequency were 0.8988 and 0.9238,respectively.The resonance amplitude variation and frequency shift of the metasurface were investigated in terms of both thickness and permittivity change of the analyte,which reflected the protein residue in the actual process.Moreover,the reliability and stability of the metasurface chip were verified by time period,temperature,and humidity control.These results promise the ability of the proposed metasurface chip as a Bacillus thuringiensis protein sensor with high sensitivity and stability.In addition,this novel device strategy provides opportunities for the advancement of terahertz functional applications in the fields of biochemical sensing and detection.Zijian Cui Yue Wang Yongqiang Shi Yongqiang Zhu Dachi Zhang Zhiqi Hong Xuping Feng 2022Photonics Research2022,10,3:2
2Variations of aminiums in fine particles at a suburban site in Guangzhou, China: Importance of anthropogenic and natural emissions显示文摘Amines are important nitrogen-containing compounds in fine particles(PM2.5)in the atmosphere.Observations are necessary for in-depth understanding on the characteristics,sources and atmospheric processes of aminiums.In this study,the observation of ten C_(1)–C_(4) aminiums in PM_(2.5) was conducted in January and March of 2021 in suburban Guangzhou.The concentration and composition of aminiums showed significant differences between the pollution episodes and non-episode periods.Seasonal difference was also observed between winter and spring.The influence of meteorological factors(i.e.,wind speed,atmospheric pressure,temperature and relative humidity)was investigated.The variations of aminiums were also affected by different sources.Anthropogenic sources were suggested to be major contributor to aminiums in the pollution episodes,while biological sources were important sources to aminiums in the non-episode periods,especially in spring.Positive matrix factorization receptor model was applied to investigate the source contributions,and four major sources were identified.The results show that vehicular emission,industrial production,biological emission and soil/dust were the major sources of aminiums.This study emphasizes the importance of source contribution and meteorological conditions on the variations of aminiums,which provides further understanding of organic nitrogen in the atmosphere.Qiuzi Shu Chenglei Pei Xiaoluan Lin Dachi Hong Senchao Lai Yingyi Zhang 2023Particuology2023,,9:0
