| 1 | Influence of Cr^(3+) Concentration on SO_2 Removal over TiO_2 Based Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes显示文摘In this study, titanium dioxide supported by multi-walled carbon nano tubes(MWCNTs/TiO_2) and Cr-doped TiO_2 supported by MWCNTs(MWNTs/Cr-TiO_2) were synthesized by the sol-gel method. The prepared samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, the BrunauerEmmett-Teller analysis, and the Raman spectroscopy. The oxidation and efficiency for removal of SO_2 in a simulated flue gas were investigated experimentally in a fixed-bed reactor. The 15% MWCNTs/Cr-Ti02 sample displayed excellent adsorption properties, and a SO_2 removal rate equating to 30.415 1 mg/g from the simulated flue gas containing 2 300 μg/g of SO_2, 8% of 02, and 5% of H20 was achieved under optimal conditions covering a temperature of 333.15 K, and a space velocity of 1 275 h^(-1). The adsorption process was enhanced because Cr doping modified the pore structure and inhibited the grain growth of TiO_2. In addition, the Freundlich and Langmuir models revealed that SO_2 was mainly adsorbed through chemical adsorption on the sample surfaces, and the thermodynamic model analysis indicated that the adsorption was a spontaneous, exothermic, and entropy-reducing process. The adsorption kinetics of SO_2 can be described by the pseudosecond-order kinetic and the Bangham dynamics models. | 5 | Controllability and observability measures of structural vibration and acoustic radiation显示文摘This paper studies the controllability and observability measures of structural vi?bration and acoustic radiation and proposes a measure of modal observability based on acoustic pressure outputs and measures of controllability and observability of acoustic radiation by combining the measures of modal controllability and observability of vibration modes with corresponding modal acoustic radiation efficiencies. A plate with control force inputs and vibrational response outputs and acoustic pressure outputs is involved to show the modal controllability and observability measures of vibration modes and measures of controllability and observabil?ity of structural vibration and acoustic radiation. Observability measures based on vibrational response outputs and acoustic pressure outputs are compared and the emphasis is on the mea?sures based on the acoustic pressure outputs. Finally the application and usefulness of the controllability and observability measures to active control of structural vibration and acous?tic radiation are illustrated and compared. | 6 | Experimental and Numerical Procedures of a Sonar Platform with a Sound Absorption Wedge显示文摘Experiments involving a sonar platform with a sound absorption wedge were carried out for the purpose of obtaining the low frequency acoustic characteristics. Acoustic characteristics of a sonar platform model with a sound absorption wedge were measured, and the effects of different wedge laid areas on platform acoustic characteristic were tested. Vibration acceleration and self-noise caused by model vibration were measured in four conditions: 0%, 36%, 60%, and 100% of wedge laid area when the sonar platform was under a single frequency excitation force. An experiment was performed to validate a corresponding numerical calculation. The numerical vibration characteristics of platform area were calculated by the finite element method, and self-noise caused by the vibration in it was predicted by an experiential formula. | 8 | Modeling and analysis of air combustion and steam regeneration in methanol to olefins processes显示文摘Light olefins is the incredibly important materials in chemical industry.Methanol to olefins(MTO),which provides a non-oil route for light olefins production,received considerable attention in the past decades.However,the catalyst deactivation is an inevitable feature in MTO processes,and regeneration,therefore,is one of the key steps in industrial MTO processes.Traditionally the MTO catalyst is regenerated by removing the deposited coke via air combustion,which unavoidably transforms coke into carbon dioxide and reduces the carbon utilization efficiency.Recent study shows that the coke species over MTO catalyst can be regenerated via steam,which can promote the light olefins yield as the deactivated coke species can be essentially transferred to industrially useful synthesis gas,is a promising pathway for further MTO processes development.In this work,we modelled and analyzed these two MTO regeneration methods in terms of carbon utilization efficiency and technology economics.As shown,the steam regeneration could achieve a carbon utilization efficiency of 84.31%,compared to 74.74%for air combustion regeneration.The MTO processes using steam regeneration can essentially achieve the near-zero carbon emission.In addition,light olefins production of the MTO processes using steam regeneration is 12.81%higher than that using air combustion regeneration.In this regard,steam regeneration could be considered as a potential yet promising regeneration method for further MTO processes,showing not only great environmental benefits but also competitive economic performance. | Jinqiang Liang Danzhu Liu Shuliang Xu Mao Ye | 2024 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2024,66,2: | 0 |
